Virtual communities are a phenomenon that is becoming more common as the information technology comes with in reach for the general public. This report will bring the theories and construction of a virtual community together. The purpose of this report is to describe the different theories that have emerged from the research within this field and to examine the work procedures that have been used during the development of a site for a MDA-community. The MDA-website is a homepage on the Internet that was developed to bring the students closer together. Introduction: Anxiety and depression are common among patients enrolled in psychiatric outpatient care. Ear Acupuncture is an alternative form of treatment that has been shown to relieve anxiety and depression in previous studies.Aim: To evaluate ear acupuncture as a group treatment for depression and anxietyMethod: A psychiatric outpatient clinic has been offering group treatments with ear acupuncture for anxiety and depression for 5 weeks. Participants of the study have answered self-rating scales Montgomery Åsberg Depression Rating Scale, Beck Anxiety Inventory and Sheehan Disability scale before and after the treatment period. Material was collected in the period 2008-2012 and has been analyzed in SPSS.Results: Data from 31 patients were included in the study. The results from the study showed a significant difference, between the measurements before and after treatment, with a reduction of the average values in the three different scales.Summary: From this study, it is difficult to draw any conclusions about the effect of ear acupuncture.

As a teacher in baking and patisserie courses there can be difficulties in following the curriculum for Patisserie 1. If this leads to an education that is not the same for all the schools in the country, it creates a problem that has to be solved. The results of this investigation show that teachers generally do not follow the curriculum but instead chooses their own solutions. Some conclusions that have come forth are that the National Agency for Education needs to make the curriculum clearer and give tangible examples of products, that can either be classified as easy or complicated, in the field of baking and pastry courses. I have chosen the standardized interview method.

This paper analyzes the auditor choices for a sample of 300 predominantly small Swedish firms, all located in Umeå. Our hypothesis was based on the complexity of a firm, the need of external financing, leverage, and the need of extra consultance from the auditfirm. Our definition of auditor quality is based on prior studies, and is frequently used by authors in this area. The assumption is based on that the auditor quality increases with the size of the auditfirm and the degree of the auditor. The auditor quality is therefor depending on the choice between an auditor from the group ?Big 5? or not, and the choice of an auditor with an higher degree.

En Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-intervention på tre sessioner á tre timmar har erbjudits en icke-klinisk grupp stressade kvinnor (N=20). Målet var att undersöka deltagarnas reaktioner på interventionen och att se huruvida ACT kan tänkas påverka deltagarnas upplevelse av och resurser för att hantera stress. Data samlades in före och efter interventionen, vid varje session, samt vid en tre månaders uppföljning. Deltagarnas reaktioner undersöktes med hjälp av enkäter och skriftliga utvärderingar, medan förändring i stressupplevelse och copingresurser mättes med självskattningsskalorna Perceived Stress Scale respektive Coping Resources Inventory. Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-2 användes för att mäta den för ACT centrala variabeln psykologisk flexibilitet.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka sambanden mellan Dark Triad (de mörkapersonlighetsdragen Machiavellism, narcissism och psykopati), Sociosexuell orientering(beteende, attityd och lust till att medverka i tillfälliga sexuella relationer) samt Religiositet.En korrelationsanalys utfördes för att undersöka sambanden mellan variablerna och enmodererande multipel regressionsanalys (MMR) utfördes för att undersöka om religiositetmodererade effekten av Dark Triad på sociosexuell orientering. Deltagarna bestod avamerikaner (N =309) som svarade på en webbenkät via Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk)vilken innehöll Dark Triad Dirty Dozen (DTDD) och the Revised Sociosexual OrientationInventory (SOI-R), dessutom angav de religionstillhörighet/ingen religionstillhörighet.Dark Triad hade ett positivt samband med sociosexuell orientering, men inget sambandmed religiositet. Sociosexuell orientering hade ett negativt samband med religiositet.Religiositet modererade inte effekten av Dark Triad på sociosexuell orientering. Resultatenbekräftar delvis tidigare forskning. Trots att religiositet inte modererade effekten av DarkTriad på sociosexuell orientering, borde detta förhållande undersökas vidare eftersom ingentidigare forskning gjorts på området..

Pomace is the solid remains (i.e. stems, pulp, seeds, and skins) after pressing for juice. The annual production of apple pomace is 593 000 ton worldwide. Its field of application depends on local conditions. In order to investigate the field of application of apple pomace in the Southern Sweden, six persons on companies with production of apple juice were interviewed.

 AimThe purpose of this study is to compare and highlight the scope for research into outdoor recreational pursuits in Sweden and Norway. - What are the similarities and differences in the financing of research into outdoor recreational pursuits in Sweden and Norway?- What are the similarities and differences in forums for research into outdoor recreational pursuits in the two countries?  Method The method that has been used in this study consists of qualitative interviews in conjunction with an examination of the published material on the subject. The qualitative interviews have been conducted with six key figures in the field of research into outdoor recreational pursuits in Sweden and Norway where the aim was to obtain a comprehensive overview of the research undertaken in both countries. The examination of the published material has been used to complement the interviews, primarily with information from propositions and reports from relevant organisations and authorities.  Results  Financing in Sweden is spread over several different research councils and authorities where no one organisation has an express responsibility for research into outdoor recreational pursuits. In Norway, however, The Research Council of Norway is the prime source of research funding.

In January 2005 large forest areas in south Sweden were severely damaged by storm. This final thesis describes the work with creating an ecological and landscape-adapted regeneration plan for a severely storm damaged property in Kronobergs region in south Sweden. This regeneration plan, in difference to more regular plans, are focusing more on the owner?s use and goal?s for the property and seeing the property from a more comprehensive view in the regeneration process. Beside production and environmental values the plan also take in consideration other values as aesthetic, culture history, landscape picture and recreation values.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka skillnader avseende somatisering, affektmedvetenhet och internaliserad skam mellan kvinnor med diagnostiserad vulvavestibulit och en kontrollgrupp. Dessutom undersöktes sambandet mellan dessa faktorer i vestibulitgruppen. I undersökningen deltog 18 kvinnor med vulvavestibulit och 18 friska kvinnor i samma ålder. Samtliga kvinnor besvarade tre självskattningsformulär; Pennebakers Inventory of Limbid Languidness, Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 och Internalized Shame Scale.Kvinnorna med vulvavestibulit visade sig ha signifikant större svårigheter att identifiera mellan kroppsliga sensationer och känslor än kontrollgruppen. De visade sig även ha en signifikant högre grad av internaliserad skam än kontrollgruppen.

This is a study in the field of Music Information Retrieval (MIR) concerning classification of musicgenre. The study uses a music listening experiment and machine learning methods to determinewhether or not the drum sounds from different songs contain sufficient information to classifygenre.MIR methods are used to extract data from the audio signals. The data is used together with theclassification results of the listening experiment to train different machine learning algorithms toclassify the songs in different genres.The results indicate that using only drum sounds for genre classifications works well, both forlisteners and for machine learning methods..
