Studien var en del i ett större projekt som syftade till att undersöka hur värphöns påverkas beteendemässigt och nutritionellt av ökad konsumtion av olöslig fiber. I det nu aktuella projektet undersöktes hur ökat intag av olöslig fiber påverkar äggkvalitén. Fiberkällan utgjordes av halmpellets som antingen blandades i fodret med 3 % inblandning, alternativt utgjorde strömaterial för att undersöka strömaterialets betydelse som fiberkälla. Två olika hybrider ingick i försöket, 720 Lohmann Selected Leghorn (LSL) och 720 Lohmann Brown (LB), varav halva antalet av varje hybrid hölls i frigående system och andra hälften i inredda burar. Totalt insamlades och undersöktes 180 ägg från varje inhysningssystem då hönorna var 31-32 veckor gamla.

The objective of this study was to examine how an IT department has been affected by the changes of increased local usage of IT, and how the usage have affected municipalities IT departments demands of IT support. In the study we explore how both the IT department and the IT support works by interviewing present and former employees at the local IT department. The current IT department have undergone a series of local changes over the last 20 years, the department has gone from only having internal users to getting the entire municipalitiy?s agencies of IT as users. It started with how the municipality began to dig down fiber optic cable in the middle of the 1990?s, and today has started to develop solutions as to how to meet the demands of future usage of IT.

Solkatt är ett arbete inom textildesign som undersöker hur vävd shibori kan användas i en textil utsmyckning. Arbetet vidareutvecklar en förstudie, i vilken tekniken vävd shibori undersöktes genom handvävning, från materialundersökning till design, genom industriell vävning. De mönstrade strukturerna skapas av extra mönstertrådar som vävs med krympgarn. Textilierna är inspirerade av solkatter; hur det intensiva ljuset dansar, reflekteras och blänker. Strukturernas uttryck förstärks i två steg, först med folietryck och därefter med ljussättning.

Today there is no way of measuring or simulating turbulent flow in high Reynolds numberenvironments. The computational power required to simulate these conditions is not expectedto be available for several decades so instead the CICLoPE project aims at solving thisshortage by the construction of a long carbon fiber wind tunnel in which real measurementscan be made. To do accurate measurements it is of importance that the wind tunnel, 0.9 metersin diameter and 110 meters long, is as straight as possible.This master thesis treat the design and construction of a device which may be used to align thetunnel along a reference laser beam. A design is presented which allows the pipe to be alignedwithin about a quarter of a millimeter along its entire length. Contents span over severalscience fields such as physics, mechanics, control theory and electronics.The result is a theoretically correct design.

För att öka förutsättningarna för en väl fungerande foderstat för nötkreatur behöver foderstatens koncentration och smältbarhet av NDF kompletteras med mått för fysiskt effektiv fiber. Fysiskt effektiv fiber är den del av fodret som stimulerar kon till tuggning. Brist på fysiskt effektiv fiber i foderstaten medför att korna inte idisslar i den utsträckning som behövs för att den buffrande saliven skall kunna utjämna de pH-svängningar som uppstår vid syraproduktion under fodrets förjäsning i våmmen. Foderstaten bör planeras så att stora pH-svängningar i våmmen undviks. Fiberförjäsning i våmmen tar längre tid än förjäsning av stärkelse, vilket jämnar ut syraproduktionen och därmed pH svängningarna i våmmen.

How do the companies use this information in their business?The purpose is to examine how some industrial companies gather information about the customer?s value in use, on the bases from the five activities from Porter and how they can use this information.Three semi structured interviews were made for this investigation, with representatives from Atlas Copco Rock Drills, IL Recycling and Johnson Pump.The conclusions are that to gather information about the customers value in use, the company must work close with the customer. This information helps the company to improve their products, services and their relationships..

In several countries that have been early in the development of wind farms, there is today a second hand market for the used wind turbines. The European Union (EU) has established a waste hierarchy in order to minimize throwaway mentality. The second hand market is a part of this as the steps are to minimize, reuse, recycle, extract energy and landfill.In order to promote the development of renewable energy, there are energy certificates for the producers that provide it, wind power being one type of renewable energy. After 15 years the energy certificates for a specific wind turbine are no longer paid, and after that there are several different scenarios for the wind turbine. The scenarios investigated in this bachelor?s thesis are export of the wind turbine to countries that are not as far along as Sweden in their development towards renewable energy, selling in Sweden to individuals, and recycling of the wind turbine, as it mostly consists of metals and therefore is recyclable.

Detta examensarbete som är på avancerad nivå handlar om ett samarbete med företaget Calesco Foil AB. Målet med arbetet är att ta fram nya användningsområden för deras befintliga produkt FRTP Heater (Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Heater). Det är en patenterad produkt som är ett värmegivande folie laminerat med glasfibrer. Det vi gjort är en produktframtagning med företagets FRTP Heater integrerad med en lampa som tillsammans bildar ett innovativt värmeelement. Detta har gjorts med fokus på företagets produkt egenskaper.Vi har använt oss av olika produktutvecklingsverktyg för att sammanställa och utveckla arbetet.

Att koppla samman nätverk över geografiskt olika platser har blivit allt vanligare i dagens samhälle. Rapporten kommer belysa olika WAN-lösningar för att göra detta möjligt. Thepurpose of this final thesis is to analyse which legal and practical measures the company hasto undertake during the process of localization to get approval from the Chineseenvironmental legislation.An analysis of the influencing factors on the environment from the production in theconstruction in Sweden was carried through. A material-balance was analysed according tothe flowchart of the production.

I detta arbete har vi försökt skapa en metod som skulle kunna hjälpa ljuddesigners inomindieföretag att med begränsade resurser komma fram till en kvalitativ ljuddesign genom attanvända en form av återvinning. Syftet med vår metod, som vi kallar för pantametoden, går utpå att återvinna ljudmaterial med hjälp av effekter för att skapa nya och kreativa ljud som går attanvända i en produktion. Vi kommer att gå igenom de nödvändigaste delarna för att visa hur vitillämpat vår metod, exempelvis vilka verktyg som finns och hur de kan användas för att uppnådet resultat som eftersträvas. Metoden har testats på två stycken spel som vi har varit med ochutvecklat, och där vi har bidragit med ljuddesignen med hjälp av vår metod. By conducting qualitative interviews five pedagogues and eight children in the ages three to five have answered questions regarding environmental work in preschool.The purpose of this report was to examine how environmental work is pursued at two preschools and what children at these preschools think about environmental work. Recycling of garbage and small cultivation projects together with the children is what the pedagogues consider being the most common environmental work at their particular preschools. In the professional role of the pedagogue if can be clearly seen what special interests he or she has.Most of the children associate the forest with some kind of snack and animals. Half of the interviewed children also think about animals when they visit the forest. Half of the interviewed children also have an understanding of where peels from fruits should be tossed, but no one knows the meaning of the word environment.

I takt med att besökare och patienter ökar måste kontinuerligt Östra sjukhuset verksamhet utvecklas. Detta medför omläggningar i trafiken och förflyttningar av verksamheter. Idag finns flertalet brister kring Östra sjukhusets fysiska planering som behöver ses över, dessa är bland annat trafikflöden, säkerhetsaspekter och parkeringsmöjligheter.Rapporten redogör för förändringar i den fysiska planeringen som förbättrar dess utformning. Genom studier av relevant litteratur och diskussioner med expertis har förslag av problemområden tagits fram. Dessa har sedan bedömts efter listor av deras respektive för- och nackdelar som kunnat urskiljas.Arbetet visar framtagandet av ett väl fungerande förslag som kan verka som en bas för idéer till nutida och framtida förändringar kring den fysiska planeringen.
