This thesis is a discourse theory analysis of two feminist anthologies - Det heter feminism! and F- ordet.  By analyzing these texts through the three categories feminism & feminists, gender equality & equality and sex/gender & sexuality I have raised questions about the feminist debate in Sweden in the 21st century.The discourse theory?s ideas of descriptions of reality and fixation of meaning lies as a foundation for this thesis. The concepts of social constructionism, post structuralism and essentialism/anti essentialism are central for the analysis as well as concepts connected to the three previously mentioned categories.The intention of this thesis is to describe and analyze a fraction of the Swedish feminist debate in the 21st century and discuss its meaning in a societal context. A number of conclusions were reached in the final discussion.

The subject of this study is gender norms in the preschool and children who oppose those norms. The aim is to investigate how the discourses are linked with the way in which preschool teachers and teaching assistants talk about children?s gender identity. This study is founded in feminist post-structuralist discourse analysis, which was a basis for the interpretation of the results. My research questions are:? How do educators express themselves concerning gender norms?? What do educators need to work with a gender critical agenda?? How do the educators describe their work concerning gender, gender norms and children who oppose those norms?? For educators who have experience with children who do not identify with the gender they was given at birth, how do educators describe their own treatment of said children, and how would they describe the treatment from the other members of the teaching team?The study consists of qualitative interviews with five educators who were asked questions relevant to: norms, gender, gender criticism and how they work with those topics.I found both positive and negative aspects of gender work in preschool.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka på vilket sätt Jesus beskrivs på film. Mer specifikt är syftet att beskriva hur Jesus gudomliga och mänskliga egenskaper gestaltas i fyra olika filmer. Film är ett växande medium och det är också ett medium för att behandla livsåskådning, både explicit och implicit. Det kristologiska grundproblemet kring Jesus natur aktualiseras på film ibland utifrån en teologisk medvetenhet, men ibland också omedvetet. Syftet med denna studie är alltså att undersöka hur Jesus gudomliga och mänskliga natur gestaltas på film.

Vårt mål med denna uppsats är att förstå de ideologier som finns representerade i ett utbildningsmaterial riktat till ungdomar om problematiken kring mäns våld mot kvinnor. Vi använder oss av en kombinerad argumentations- och ideologianalys för att nå svaret på vår frågeställning. Detta är en oortodox metod inom genusvetenskapen, vilken får oss att positionera oss feministisk-empiristiskt. Detta har bevisat för oss hur genusvetenskapen kan utvecklas och anammas även av mer traditionella discipliner. Svaret på frågeställningen är att materialet har en maktkritisk poststrukturalistisk intention, där postkoloniala och queerteoretiska antaganden marginaliserats till förmån för könsaspekten av maktförhållandena.

This discursive policy study has its starting point in the criticism of the Swedish gender-equality policy is depoliticised. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Swedish gender-equality policy was problematised and designed during the 2000s. The purpose of this paper is also to investigate whether the Swedish gender-equality policy can be defined as a depoliticised policy or not. The research questions of this study are: What´s the problem of gender-equality represented to be in the specifics policies and what effects are produced of this representation? Can gender policy, as it is designed in the various policy documents, be understood as a depoliticised policy, in the sense that sex is not articulated on the basis of a conflict dimension?To find the answer of theese questions I use the method ?Whats´s the problem represented to be", which is an inductive approach where the researcher sets selected questions to its material.

Arbetet handlar om att med hjälp av litteratur och forskning hitta fördelar och nackdelar med ett tematiskt arbetssätt. Utifrån dessa fördelar och nackdelar har vi sedan skapat en planering för ett tematiskt arbete som vi valt att kalla ?Naturen omkring oss?. De ämnena som vi valt att integrera i detta arbete är Biologi, Svenska, Matematik och Bild. I Litteraturgenomgången har vi valt att definiera begreppet tematiskt arbete. Vi definierar det bland annat som att vi utgår ifrån elevers egna erfarenheter och vardagliga förståelse, att vi ska arbeta ämnesövergripande samt att elevinflytandet ska ha en väsentlig del i arbetet.

Denna uppsats är en kritisk ideologianalys av den liberala frihetssynen utifrån feministisk teori. Som empiriska exempel har vi tagit sexualiseringen av det offentliga rummet och mer specifikt reklamens objektifiering av kvinnan och åtföljande diskussion om lagstiftning mot könsdiskriminerande reklam. Reklamens objektifiering av kvinnan inskränker på kvinnors reella frihet att definiera sig själva som individer och att vara fria från könsdiskriminering, en inskränkning som osynliggörs inom den liberala frihetssynen genom dess betoning på individen. Den feministiska kritiken framför mer användbara verktyg för att analysera det strukturella förtrycket av kvinnan och vi har utifrån en mer enhetlig syn på frihet med bas i Maccallums frihetsdefinition påvisat att inskränkningar i individers/gruppers frihet kan leda till större frihet för flertalet. Vem friheten är till för, dess innebörd och utformning kan således inte fastställas en gång för alla utan är en process som sker genom kontinuerliga avvägningar mellan olika individers och gruppers intressen.Nyckelord: Liberalism, frihet, förtryck, feminism, reklam.Antal tecken: 69 421 (inklusive blanksteg).

Vid första anblick kan rum och platser verka könsneutrala. Men eftersom dessa är skapade av människor som ingår i politiska och sociala sammanhang påverkas även de av omgivningens könsnormer. Syftet med den här kandidatuppsatsen är att undersöka hur landskapsarkitekter ser på genusperspektiv och hur de konkret arbetar med det i sitt yrke. Med en ostrukturerad intervjuform har tre stycken yrkesverksamma landskapsarkitekter intervjuats i Stockholm. Resultatet av intervjun visade på att de dominerande frågorna inom genusperspektivet är trygg- och säkerhetsaspekten samt barns lekplatser.

Uppsatsen behandlar ett nytt bruk av en som könsneutralt generaliserande pronomen och det normkritiska och feministiska reformförslag som ligger bakom. Syftet med uppsatsen var att studera bruket av en och det bakomliggande reformförsöket, vilket gjordes i tre komplette­rande delundersökningar. Genom en inledande kartläggning av bruket beskrevs det nya bruket av en samt var och av vilka en används. Grunderna till bruket fastställdes med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med centrala aktörer i reformförsöket. Slutligen studerades universitets­studenters uppfattning om en genom en enkätundersökning, då de sågs som tänkta användare och möjliga aktörer.

This essay is an attempt to study some post-modern theological positions with regard to their growing interest in the use of mystical theology and mysticism in theological research in the academic post-modern world, and to see if the 19th century theologian Albert Schweitzer couldprove a resource for this understanding of mystical theology. This position is known in the essay as ?the mystical turn.?To present the background and understanding of this post-modern view of mystical theology the essay presents three theologians, namely: Andrew Louth, Mark A. McIntosh and Sarah Coakley.These three theologians argue for the use of a contemplative and transforming mysticism as a postmodern epistemology in relation to theological research, with growing concern of the status of theology in the secular and post-modern world. Having made clear the views of these three theologians the essay then presents Albert Schweitzer's view on the mysticism of Paul.

The overarching aim of this essay is to analyze, from a feminist point of view, the moral responsibility for the structural oppression of women. In this discussion I focus on the issue of moral responsibility for sexual violence against women, such as rapes. I claim that a feminist theory of moral responsibility has to be based on a collectivist approach. I argue that men should be considered as collective moral responsible for the structural oppression of women. However, it is important that we analyze the interaction between actor and structure.

The concept of a Sharia compliant financial system has been a frequently discussed topic among scholars, bankers and media since the 1960th. It origins from the prohibition of interest, riba, which is stated in the Quran. Islamic banking is spread across the Muslim world and also exists in some western countries. This paper will try to create an image of what Islamic banking is in theory and in practice. This will be done by looking into the different methods of interest free banking, the Quran and the annual reports of four Islamic banks in different countries.

This paper is a discourse analytic policy study with the intention to investigate the swedish government's policy action plan against prostitution and trafficking for sexual purposes. The document is called Handlingsplan mot prostitution och människohandel för sexuella ändamål. The purpose of the study is to investigate whether there is a feminist gender understanding taking place in the action plan. This is made by both see how the problem of prostitution is produced partly by examining whether there is a gender-based power analysis in action. The research questions of this study are:What is considered being the problem with prostitution and trafficking fosexual purposes?Is there a feminist gender understandning in the government's prostitution politics?To answer these questions I use Carol Bacchis method Whats the problem represented to be? And the material being used is the government's actionplan.

The main discussion in this essay concern what the Emerging Church is, its sociological and theological context, their main critique of modernism and the consequences in theology and praxis. EC is not a new church but wants to be a new way of being church. In England much of the discussion concerning EC has found a context within the report Mission-Shaped Church (MSC). EC differs from Emergent Village which is a continuing discussion from a postmodern philosophical view.EC is born in an evangelical context with the tensions in the postmodern context, the liminal situation with among other items the disussion about a liquid culture and liquid church. Other backgroundfactors are the ChurchGrowth-movement, Willow Creek and the Gospel and Our Culture.EC critisizes its evangelical background and moves the center from justification to incarnation, from propostionalism, individualism, mission and activism to a theology of incarnational community life.Four different proponents are considered; Brian Mclaren, Dan Kimball, Karen Ward and Ben Edson.
