I denna C-uppsats har vi mot bakgrund av att Migrationsverket inte längre driver några flyktingförläggningar i egen regi, studerat det aktörslandskap som tagit över denna uppgift. I studien har vi intervjuat två offentliga, en ideell och tre privata aktörer som driver asylboenden. Vi har utgått från att asylboenden är en välfärdstjänst och att utförarna därför står för tillämpningen av en välfärdstjänst.Syftet har varit att studera de olika utförarnas idéer om asylboenden som välfärdstjänst och analysera idéerna utifrån ett ideologiskt förankrat ideal om välfärd. Därför har vi utarbetat idealtyper som vi baserat på Esping-Andersens (1990) typologi av korporativa (konservativa), liberala och socialdemokratiska välfärdsregimer och kompletterat våra idealtyper med annan teori. Social stratifiering, reglering, dekommodifiering och vinstintresse är de begrepp som ingått i de idealtyper vi använt oss av.

Tankar om ett paradis har funnit i tusentals år, men det har återkommit i olika skepnader och under olika namn. Även i dag skapar människan sig en bild av ett paradis och i detta arbete görs en jämförelse mellan dåtidens och nutidens paradisskildringar. Frågan är om vi ser någon skillnad mellan dåtiden och nutidens? De större västerländska filosofipåverkande epoker, såsom antiken, den keltiska och fornnordiska mytologin, den kristna, beskriver ett paradisiskt ideal som i mycket liknar vartannat. Edens lustgård är kanske det mest kända paradis, men som är en kombination av flera olika paradis.

During the last decade executive coaching has become an increasingly popular method of management development. Few studies have been conducted within this area, especially in Sweden, and little has been said about the construction of management in executive coaching. The purpose of this master?s thesis is to study executive coaching from a social constructionist perspective, focusing on the construction of management. The two research questions are: How is management constructed in executive coaching? How can we understand the construction of management in executive coaching? Additionally, we identify gender as a social construction of importance and thus include a gender perspective in our analysis.

Stadions utformning möjliggör inslag av traditionella material som naturgräs och betong. Allmänna fotbollsstadion är utformad efter platsens förutsättningar och förstärker närområdet genom sin mångsidighet och breda funktion.

The aim of this studie centers on how lgbt (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) are portrayed in women?s magazines. The magazines we have chosen to analyze are FRIDA, VeckoRevyn and amelia, which all three have different target groups. We have, with the assistance of the rhetorical and semiotic analysis methods, assessed 18 articles with their associated photographs. These methods are part of the qualitative analysis model and are used in order to study less empirical data with more depth.

The purpose of this essay is to describe the organization of the Swedish Animal WelfareAgency during the time it was in operation. The Swedish Animal Welfare Agency was established in 2005 by the government who saw it as necessary in order to strengthen the protection of cruelty to animals in Sweden. However, the agency was shut down already in2007 and its responsibilities as an agency was moved back to the government and the department of agriculture. During its time in operation, the Swedish Animal Welfare Agency, received much criticism, among other things because of its interpretations of the law which were seen as too focused on details and thus ?bureaucratic?.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka manliga handelsanställdas uppfattning om klädsel och utseende i förhållande till maskulinitet. För att uppnå vårt syfte har vi valt att undersöka vilka yttre faktorer som påverkar mäns syn på utseende och klädsel i arbetet och privat. Vi har även undersökt på vilket sätt manliga handelsanställdas syn på manlighet är relaterat till deras synsätt på utseende och klädsel. Forskningen kring klädsel och utseende är omfattande, men den forskningen behandlar ämnet främst ur ett kvinnligt perspektiv, däri ligger en av bakgrundsfaktorerna till att vi fann detta ämne intressant att studera.Arbetet vilar på teorier kring maskulinitet, ideal, stereotyper samt estetisk kompetens. Genom att genomföra intervjuer med manliga handelsanställda kom vi fram till att klädseln och utseendet inom arbetet, men även privat är av stor betydelse för synen på maskulinitet och manlighet.

Our study aims to discover how young men aged 15-19 perceive the image of men in women?s magazines. To do this we let eight young men read the two women?s magazines most read by young women their own age, Vecko Revyn and Cosmopolitan. We want to find whether they consider this image to be representative of their own reality.

The purpose of this study was to examine young women?s perception and fear of sexual assault. An additional aim was to analyze the women?s view on guilt and responsibility in rape related questions. Two focus group interviews were executed with undergraduate women aged 22-32 years.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine ideas used to legitimate Swedish digital libraries, with a focus on the cultural heritage, their relation to cultural policy and an eventual crisis within the latter. Which ideas are linked to digitalisation? How do the arguments for creating digital libraries differ between central actors? How do the digital libraries relate to cultural policy and an eventual legitimacy crisis? These are the questions this thesis seeks to answer. The theoretical starting-point consists of a legitimacy discussion and its connection to Swedish cultural policy. The method used is idea analysis.

Background: Every year, 2000 persons in Sweden are diagnosed with malignant melanoma, the most alarming form of skincancer. Sunexposure, sunburns and tanningbed use are the most appearing causes in the development of this disease. The skin of young people is sensitive to UV-radiation and their sunbehaviour could be determinant to their future health. Purpose: To illuminate the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards sunexposure in the meaning to avoid the development of malignant melanoma. Method: The study was designed to be a literature review, containing scientific articles of both qualitative and quantitative approach.

In this thesis I have decided to take a closer look into my own ?backyard?. A river that runs through my hometown, Akureyri, has been a thorn in some people?s side. Glerá river has taken lives but it has also given the town possibilities to develop.

In this project the task has been to develop a product that will facilitate an operation for personnel working in a sterilization center. The operation is to steer the front of a loading trolley into the chamber of an autoclave, a so-called docking. The moment is complicated because the margins to deviate from ideal docking position and still succeed, is very small.The principal Getinge's desire was that the product could be retrofitted at the customers on their existing systems. One of the demands was that the product should fit two types of trolleys, one with a adjustable working height and one with a fixed working height. Getinge is supposed to purchase the system from a subcontractor who shall manufacture it and the requirement from Getinge is that the cost of purchase mustn't exceed SEK 500Initially principles, solving the problem was developed.
