Alternate Reality Games : Framtidens Marknadsföringsform

An alternate reality game, often abbreviated as ARG, is a mix between a game and a crossmedia interactive story using mainly the Internet as a platform. The game is built around the idea of teamwork among its participants. The players cooperate to solve puzzles allowing them to go forward in the story of the game. The marketing element is in different ways included in the story.A few Alternate Reality Games such as The Beast, The Art of the H3ist and The Lost Ring have previously been launched as marketing campaigns. This bachelor thesis aims to examine the possibilities of Alternate Reality Games as an alternative marketing tool for profit-driven companies.

Föräldrars upplevelser inför sitt barns hjärtransplantation

Syftet med denna studie var att påvisa vilka känslor som väcktes hos föräldrarna inför sitt barns hjärttransplantation och hur deras upplevelse av informationen från vårdpersonalen uppfattades. För att kunna genomföra undersökningen användes en anonym enkätundersökning med semistrukturerade frågor. Undersökningens deltagarantal var litet på grund av att få barn blivit hjärttransplanterade på hjärtcentrat. Av sexton tillfrågade föräldrar svarade endast åtta på frågeformulären. I resultatet framkom att föräldrar under kontakten med hjärtcentrat hade både positiva och negativa upplevelser.

Livselixir : En studie om Harry Potter, moralisk utveckling, livsfrågor och religionsundervisning

This bachelor's thesis examines three books in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The aim is to increase understanding for what Harry Potter could contribute in terms of morality in religious studies, and how the story about Harry Potter, as a popular literary phenomenon, can be helpful for this. Lawrence Kohlberg's theory of moral development is central to this essay.I have used an hermeneutic method for the analysis of the Harry Potter books. The result shows that the main character, Harry Potter, can be seen as kind of a role model when it comes to moral development. Pupils may benefit by reading this book series because it can open their eyes to life questions and moral values.

The purpose of this study was to examine and illustrate how young adults look at themselves and their lifesituation in relation to the late modern society. More specifically its aim was to find out if the respondents have been affected by the ideals and norms of the late modern society in their lifechoises and their view of happiness. This study was based on interviews with eight young adults in the ages between 25 - 33. Out of the eight three were singles, two were married with children and three were in relationships. During the process four themes were identified: The importance and developement of an identity, fullfillment in the respondents lifesituations, the experience of happiness in the respondents lives and how the late modern society have influenced the respondents in their lives.

The aim of this study was to examine how social policy is created in a local context on the basis of the situation regarding the begging EU migrants in Kalmar, Sweden. The last few years the number of begging EU migrants has increased in Sweden. Most of them are Roma with a history of exclusion and discrimination. To reach our goal we interviewed three managers from the social Services representing the local authorities. We also did four interviews with people from three non-profit organizations in Kalmar.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att implementera en modulgenerator som automatiskt genererar ett matchat differentialpar. Detta för att enkelt kunna generera detta vanlig förekommande byggblock utan att behöva rita om allt från grunden. Modulgeneratorn som konstruerats klarar att skapa upp till 2x2 transistor block matchad layout med eller utan sköld. Programmet skapar med hjälp av indata från konstruktören en skräddarsydd layout som kan användas som byggblock i integrerade kretsar. Föräldrars upplevelse av miljön och bemötandet på Ronald McDonald Hus - en kvalitativ intervjustudie

Abstract Background: Families with sick children are expressing the needs of accommodation near the hospital, in order to be close to their children and be together as a family.Aim: To investigate how parents experienced the hospitality and the environment at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in Uppsala and how they feel their children have experienced the stay.Method: Descriptive qualitative interview study. Five parents who lived with their family at RMH between 2013- 2014 have been interviewed with a semi-structured approach. A qualitative content analysis with an inductive approach according to Graneheim and Lundman (2003) was conducted on a manifest level.Results: RMH made the families? situation easier. RMH met their needs of a homelike environment where they could be themselves; be together and maintain everyday routines.

The purpose of this study is to highlight how a ring road and an external retail establishment may affect the city commerce. Umeå is the study object with interesting undergoing changes including a new external retail area south of the city and a new transport route that will lead the through traffic around the city.The study is based on a review of previous studies and a qualitative method. Four interviews were conducted with people who have a connection to commerce and/or municipal planning and where considered able to contribute with rich and relevant information. The result shows that the commerce in Umeå will be significantly strengthened in the context of a new external commercial establishment when the city?s overall attractiveness increases.
