The aim of the study was to describe lone mothers? experience of the contact with the Child Health Centre (CHC). The definition of CHC in the study was the Child Health Centre?s daily activities, the child health nurse and the parent groups. The study had a descriptive design and eleven lone mothers from parent forums on the internet participated.

Background: To suffer from diabetes type II affects peoples new situation of life and therefore even their experiences of quality of life. Aim: The aim with this study was to describe how people with diabetes's type II experiences their quality of life. Method: The method that was used was a literature study with describing and deductive approach, where people?s experiences have come forth on the basis of Rustoens (1993) definition of quality of life. In total we analyzed 16 scientific articles that were categorized in four themes through a systematic content analysis (Evans, 2003) which resulted in four themes and nine subthemes.

Förändringar på arbetsmarknaden har medfört att anställda i allt större utsträckning upplever anställningsotrygghet. Syftet med föreliggande studie är att undersöka huruvida autonomi, deltagande i beslutsfattande och arbetsrelaterat socialt stöd kan moderera sambandet mellan anställningsotrygghet och framtida psykisk ohälsa samt bristande arbetstrivsel. En enkät besvarades av 181 anställda på en revisionsfirma vid två tillfällen. Resultatet av hierarkiska regressionsanalyser indikerar att kvantitativ och kvalitativ anställningsotrygghet predicerar bristande arbetstrivsel och att kvalitativ anställningsotrygghet även predicerar psykisk ohälsa. Varken autonomi över arbetsuppgifterna, deltagande i beslutsfattande, socialt stöd från kollegor eller från chefer dämpande dessa samband.

I studien undersökte vi hur ett antal verksamma förskollärare organiserar sina samlingar och även hur de resonerar kring samlingarnas syfte i förskolan. Vi undersökte även barns inflytande och delaktighet inför och under samlingarna. I studien använde vi oss av en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod innehållande både observationer och intervjuer med verksamma förskollärare. I resultatet har det framkommit att de flesta förskollärarna organiserar sina samlingar på liknande sätt, utifrån barnens ålder och med ett liknande innehåll. Förskollärarnas resonemang kring samlingens syfte har vi kunnat sammanfatta i tre punkter som är gemenskapen, en lugn stund för att kunna möta alla barn och en lärandesituation.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the places importance for young people with disabilities. The study?s central questions are what type of places they visit and what characterizes them. It is also about answering the questions why the places are visited and what meaning this has for participation and identity. The study´s central concept is room/place, participation and identity.

Inom hälso- och sjukvården ställs idag höga krav på renlighet för att förebygga vårdrelaterade infektioner. Detta gäller inte minst vårdpersonalens händer. Syftet med studien var att undersöka benägenheten att följa de i Handbok för hälso- och sjukvård beskrivna riktlinjerna kring handhygien bland olika yrkeskategorier på en kirurgisk vårdavdelning. Datainsamling skedde genom observationer av under-sköterskor, sjuksköterskor och läkare på den utvalda vårdavdelningen. Studien hade både kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa vad som kan göras för att undvika konflikter inom band och för att hantera dem, detta genom att undersöka olika konflikter inom band och genom att se vad bandmedlemmarna berättar om dem. Syftet är också att reflektera över på vilket sätt resultaten kan överföras på och vara användbara för organisationer.Metoden består av en induktiv forskningsansats och en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi, dessutom har undersökningen skett i form av en fallstudie. Detta medför att det var möjligt att samla in empirin som sedan kunde tolkas med hjälp av teorin och vidare var det möjligt att undersöka ett fenomen i stället för att bevisa någonting. Det användes kvalitativa intervjuer med medlemmar i ett band där de intervjuade fick prata om sina egna upplevelser för att få fram empiri, samt böcker om Mötley Crüe och Kiss.Studien visar att medvetenhet om olika roller och samspel mellan bandmedlemmar är viktig för hantering av konflikter och för att undvika dem. Studien ger närmare inblick på detta genom att beskriva olika samband mellan konflikter och bland annat gruppdynamik, roller, förväntningar, behov och krav.

The purpose of this study was to examine the experience of organizational culture among salespeople at a specific workplace. The purpose was also to investigate what motivates these salespeople in their work and the impact culture has on their motivation. We have used a qualitative research method to collect the empirical material. With the help of seven interviews, including six salespeople from one of Sweden?s biggest electronic retailer and also one information interview with a sales consultant, we attempted to find the answer to how they perceive the organizational culture and how it affects their work motivation. The following questions are used to fulfill this purpose: ? How do the salespeople experience the organizational culture? ? What motivates the salespeople in their daily work? ? What effects does the organizational culture have on the salespersons motivation? As analytical tools we have used are the concept of organizational culture, Schein's description of the three components of culture and Herzberg Motivation-Hygiene theory. The results of the study indicate that the salespeople experience a positive organizational culture and that this culture promotes fellowship and unity between colleagues, which in turn contributes to an enhanced motivation.

AIMS AB is a Swedish company that develops and sells inertial sensor systems. A new product is under research which basically is an aided inertial navigation system where unwanted drift is eliminated. This can be done by integrating a GPS reciever into the system and fuse measurement data from GPS and IMU. Such a product is useful in racing, where engineers always are searching for the optimal performance and the shortest lap times. Today the only feedback the engineers and mechanics get from their work is the driver?s comments and lap times.

Fokus i denna studie har inriktats mot restaurangföretag och deras möjligheter att påverka gäster med hjälp av sinnesmarknadsföring. För att visa på marknadsföringens goda inverkan på företag genomfördes en observation samt intervjuer med marknadsföringsexperter och inredare. Det framkom att sinnesmarknadsföring, som involverar människans fem sinnen, ökar gästens uppehållstid och viljan att spendera pengar i besöksmiljön. Uppsatsen syftar till att belysa hur företag på ett effektivt sätt kan påverka en gästs restaurangupplevelse.

AbstractThe intention of our study is to examine how the view of homeless people and their life situation looks according to a selection of persons, which in their work get into contact with homeless people. The study is based on a qualitative method that includes interviews.The result of the study is based on interviews with eight persons working in the social services, volunteer organisations, the police and a security organisation. The majority of the persons that have been interviewed are normalising homeless people; they do not look upon them as different. At the same time they have the opinion that homeless people live a tougher life and that they have to fight more for their living than other people. The persons that we have interviewed share the view that homeless people live under a constant pressure of finding a place to sleep.

Studien har genomförts i Kista Galleria med syftet att utvärdera Ryals (2005) formel för värde­ring av kundrelationer. Med hjälp av formeln beräknas Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) för ett antal kundrelationer det undersökta företaget har. Huruvida formeln är funktionell för ändamålet kundvärdering är den centrala frågeställningen. Resultaten som framkommer ty­der på att en utgångspunkt för värdering av kundrelationer med hjälp av enbart monetära faktorer kan resultera i kortsiktiga strategiska beslut. Mindre butiker uppvisade generellt bättre Customer Lifetime Value per kvadratmeter än välkända butiker med stora butiksytor.

The public transport network in Täby commune consists currently of two types of bus line of whichboth belong to the category of feeder lines. The first type terminates at Danderyds sjukhus and feedsto the subway whereas the second type terminates at Täby centrum and feeds to Roslagsbanan, asuburban narrow-gauge railway system in northern Stockholm. The trunk bus line that connectsgreater parts of the commune with Danderyd is the ring line 604 and goes both clockwise (604H) andcounterclockwise (604V). The main negative aspect of this structure is the complicity in incorporatingit timetable-wise with other bus lines that share the same route, such as through Enebyberg.The goal of this project is to investigate the possibilities of splitting ring line 604 and connecting theends to two different bus routes that terminate at Täby centrum today. Apart from easing thecoordination with other bus lines through Enebyberg, the extension also creates new directconnections from various areas in Täby to Danderyds sjukhus.

A new material model, for the FE-program ADINA, has been verified against twoexperiments. One unreinforced concrete beam and one reinforced concrete beam.The model, DF-concrete, has the possibility to estimate true concrete. However theresults indicate that in order to be sure that the estimations are true, there ought tobe data from the true concrete to verify against.Two FE-models have simulated the behavior of a ring-shaped part of the nuclearcontainment vessel. The results from the first, frictionless, model agree with similarsimulations and hand calculations for high pressures in the containment vessel. Thesimulations of the nuclear containment vessel show cracking in the concrete after10-11 bars of over pressurization.
