Utifrån en brief från Familjebostäder AB i Stockholm fick vi förfrågan att arbeta med 21 stycken bostadshus i Farsta och Farsta Strand där uppgiften var att inreda dess entréer och korridorer. Målet var att skapa en hållbar identitet för de olika fastigheterna samt en förbättrad bostadsmiljö för de boende.Resultatet blev en miljö som upplevs välkommnande och hemtrevlig för de boende samt de besökande. Det finns ett tydligt rörelsemönster och en lekfull inredning som kopplar samman husens historia med dagens estetik..

Ett aktuellt ämne inom landskapsarkitekturen är den potentiella konflikten mellan förtätning och grönområden i städer. Ett sätt att kompensera förlusten av kvantitativa grönområden på grund av förtätningsprojekt är att omvandla delar av återstående grönområden till mer högkvalitativa parker med plats för många användningsområden samt öka tillgängligheten till dessa parker. Detta examensarbete behandlar ett sådant fall där vi undersöker platsen för och föreslår en gestaltning för en stadspark i Farsta, en 1960-talsförort 10 km söder om centrala Stockholm. Farsta är utsedd i Stockholms översiktsplan till en av ytterstadens nio tyngdpunkter. Dessa ska balansera innerstadens dominans och kommer därför att genomgå en omfattande förtätningar och bli mer urban.

Syftet med min studie har varit att undersöka kärlekens spelregler och värderingar utifrån Judith Butlers tankar kring imiterandet av kön. Jag har valt att studera den kvinnliga och manliga diskursens verkan under kärleksspelets tidigaste fas. Materialet består utav fem skilda intervjuer utförda på två kvinnor och tre män, samtliga mellan 20 och 26 år gamla. I analysen har två tydligt uppdelade könsroller kunnat uttydas och en patriarkal makthierarki har uppenbarats. Jag började mitt arbete med större förhoppningar än vad resultatet kom att påvisa angående eventuella förändringar i genussystemet.

Stockholm is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. Its population is growing every day and the housing needs are becoming higher. Despite the growth and the need for more houses only a few new housing units are being built every year. Critics argue that if the building rate stays as it is today the development of the city will be very limited since there is no capacity for the city to embrace new incomers.The decision makers in the municipality of Stockholm are planning for large investments in housing units for the coming years up until 2030. There are plans of building approximately 140 000 new apartments to mend the ascending need for new houses.Farsta County is part of Stockholm and lies a few kilometers to the south of the city center.

Public participation in urban planning is meant to increase democracy in the planning process. Even though all citizens have the option to participate in urban planning debates, few seize their chance to partake. This thesis describes a study on how user needs are met and prioritized in design processes concerning urban planning. The aim was to determine whether user-centered design (UCD) methods could be used as an avenue for public participation in urban planning and ultimately invite more citizens into the planning process.The thesis details a design process where a team worked to develop Farsta, a suburb of Stockholm. The design problem was the question of how Farsta could become an attractive business location.

Då Sverige historiskt sett har haft låga priser på el har ett system som använder mycket el byggts upp. Efter avregleringen av den europeiska elmarknaden har priserna på el ökat och beräknas stiga till samma nivåer som på kontinenten. Behovet att minska energianvändningen och då främst el har blivit en viktig fråga varpå Energimyndigheten valt att inom projektet STIL2, STatistik I Lokaler, inventera energianvändningen i svenska lokaler. Rapportens syfte är att undersöka hur kontorslokalers energianvändning i Stockholmsregionen påverkar energisystemet med fokus på användningen av komfortkyla. Genom att utnyttja fjärrvärmedrivna kylmaskiner, absorptionskylmaskiner, höjs värmelasten sommartid när värmelasten är låg vilket medför ett ökat underlag för produktion av värme och el i kraftvärmeverk. Med data från STIL 2 uppskattades kylbehovet i kontorslokaler till 30 kWh kyla per m2 och år.

There are few legally protected gardens in Sweden, and those that are protected are mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries. All time periods have the same value and more modern gardens therefore needs to be protected. Evaluating parks is, however, complicated since it do not exist any methods. One environment from the 1960?s that has not been protected is Televerket in Farsta, Stockholm. The facility has been classified as worthy of preservation by Stockholm City Museum and has received the Kasper Salin Prize.

This study deals with an important and challenging issue that each school is facing today, that is the prevention work of bullying. The purpose is to investigate how two elementary schools define bullying and how the work of prevention looks like today. The study highlights two models, Farsta and Friends, that many schools follows in their work and struggle against bullying. We conducted this study by looking at how bullying looks at two elementary schools. How these schools developed working method in order to secure a safe environment for all children in the school.The findings in this study highlighted the involvement of these two schools in the work of prevention against bullying, which methods they used and how these schools worked intensively with organisations such as Friends.

denna uppsats belyser jag hur man med hjälp av skönlitteratur kan förmedla de demokratiska värderingar som skola och samhälle vilar på. Jag försöker förankra mitt uppslag om hur man kan förebygga mobbning i grundskolans senare del i redan väl befästa metoder som Farsta och Stiftelsen friends, samt i förhållande till de normalitetsföreställningar som finns i skolan och i samhället. Det är en teoretiskt uppbyggd uppsats och jag utgår från litteratur som Louise M. Rosenblatts Literature as Exploration (1938), Gunilla Molloys Att läsa skönlitteratur med tonåringar (2003), Eva Hultins Skolans litteraturundervisning som demokratisk mötesplats (2002) och Lpo94. I behandlad litteratur tas bland annat transaktionsbegreppet, efferent och estetisk läsning, subjektiv förankring i skönlitteratur och autentiska frågor upp.

The construction process which is used today while constructing residential buildings has for along time remained unchanged. Unfortunately the development process has gone away frombecoming industrialized and instead most of the work is done at the construction site. In thisrespect this is a worse alternative because the project outcome will be more expensive and theconstruction time will be longer. Skanska?s vision is to have a process which is more like the oneused in small residential buildings which is fully industrialized.The constructing process for residential building involves more parties and therefore it becomesmore complicated.

The substitute is of most part Internet based services from where you can watch movie online or download film legally as well as illegally.These different sorts of new competitors or substitutes become a big threat on the traditional rental movie stores as these substitutes can offer the same prices or even lower.With these new ways of watching film this will on turn change the behaviours of the customers that likes to watch movies. The problem for the traditional rental movie stores is trying to keep their existing customers and try keeping them loyal to their store, so that they won?t loose them to the competitors and substitutes.
