This degree project is a realization of a strategy for collaboration between an industrial designer and employed workmen of a producing company. The collaboration aims to engage everyone involved in the co-authorship of a products design and manufacturing history. The realization has taken place in an open dialogue where the designer no longer owns the design process by himself. The project has been carried out in cooperation with the company Iris Hantverk. The company is owned by the Swedish body for visually impaired and has their main production facility in Stockholm.

Syfte:Syftet med denna uppsat's Àr att undersöka hur smÄ och medelstora svenska företag internationaliserar sin verksamhet och hur de behandlar affÀrskulturen pÄ sina nya utlÀndska marknader. Vi vill ge förslag till en modell av internationalisering av SME med inriktning pÄ affÀrskulturella aspekter. Problem:ProblemstÀllningen Àr del's praktisk och del's teoretisk. Hur behandlar svenska SME rent praktiskt sin etablering utomland's och hur skall dessa företag hantera skillnader i affÀrskulturella marknadsegenskaper? Vidare frÄgar vi os's om det Àr möjligt att anvÀnda sig av dagen's internationaliseringsmodeller pÄ SME dÄ de internationaliseringar och affÀrskulturella aspekter grundar sig pÄ stora företag's strategier och förutsÀttningar.

Venture capital firms and private equity firms have been the subject of much controversy in the last decade. During this period economies throughout the world have seen a steady increase of these types of firms as owners of companies. In Sweden this has certainly been the case and many argue that this trend will continue to grow stronger in the future. This trend is by many regarded as dangerous and as a threat to the ownership model that has characterized the Swedish economy for decades. Family ownership has been widely regarded as the most beneficial and responsible ownership model in Sweden.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka om EU:s bistÄnd till Afrika tar hÀnsyn till om de afrikanska lÀnderna har vÀlutvecklade institutioner eller ej. Mycket forskning tyder pÄ att givare av bistÄnd bör fokusera sitt bistÄnd till stater som har relativt hög institutionaliseringsgrad för att pengarna ska generera en positiv effekt. Jag undersöker detta genom att anvÀnda mig av en kvantitativ metod och regressionsanalyser för att fÄ statistiskt material att tolka. Mina resultat tyder pÄ att EU inte verkar utforma sitt bistÄnd genom att studera mottagarlÀndernas institutionaliseringsgrad. Detta kan ses som en, av mÄnga, förklaringar till varför den afrikanska kontintenten inte uppvisar önskade resultat nÀr det gÀller fattigdomsbekÀmpning och demokratisk utveckling. .

Syfte ? Studien Àmnar utveckla en större förstÄelse för smÄ- och medelstora företags internationaliseringsprocesser och entreprenörskap över tid, samt vilka entreprenöriella element som kan ligga till grund för en global framgÄng och konkurrenskraft. Studien undersöker svenska företag inom cleantech-sektorerna solenergi, bioenergi, samt transport i syfte att finna insiktsfulla skillnader mellan sektorerna. Design och metod ? Studien Àr designad som en kvalitativ undersökning, i syfte att tillvarata rik och insiktsfull förstÄelse frÄn tolv svenska cleantech-entreprenörer, med intervjudata som samlats in i ett tidigare forskningsprojekt. Den kvalitativa inriktningen karaktÀriseras av en ambition att utveckla och anvÀnda olika teorier inom det aktuella forskningsomrÄdet, dÀr studiens empiri Àr styrande. Resultat ? Studiens resultat betonar att de tolv cleantech-entreprenörerna vÀxer olika pÄ internationella marknader och har olika behov, beroende pÄ cleantech-sektor.

The purpose of this study was to understand whether there is a difference in how the Swedish police work with Facebook in two municipalities with different criminal records. The methods used were qualitative interviews with the ones responsible for the Facebook-sites and quantitative content analysis of different Facebook-posts, both from members of the Facebook-site and from the police themselves.Among the theories used in this study were the ?four-step relations process? by Cutlip, Allen and Broom, theory around public relations and theory around the public sphere by Habermas.The results showed that there is a difference in how the police uses Facebook between the municipalities and one of the conclusions is that this is mainly because of the ways that the police choose to work with Facebook rather than the difference in criminal records. Another conclusion is that the police get positive feedback from the members on their Facebook-site, and that how much the police uses Facebook as a tool depends a lot on how much resources they have to spend since the ones writing on Facebook are policemen and policewomen, and that the police do not have someone who works with the Facebook-site as a primary task.Keywords: Facebook, police, social media, qualitative interviews, quantitative content analysis, authority, public relations..

Syftet med vÄr undersökning Àr att ge förslag pÄ vad ansvariga pÄ mansdominerade företag bör tÀnka pÄ vid utformningen av sin interna- och externa kommunikation samt hur dessa kan samverka dÄ mansdominerade företag önskar attrahera fler kvinnliga medarbetare.Vi har valt att anvÀnda oss av relevanta teorier som kopplar samman marknadskommunikation (intern- och extern kommunikation), rekrytering (att attrahera) och mÄngfald (genus). This study aims at contributing to the studies of political implementation. The theory of implementation claims that local implementation that meets the demands of national policies is close to none existing. By examining the implementation of industrial policy in two Swedish municipalities that differs in location, prosperity and political believes I am putting the theory to the test. If the test were to show that the implementation is rather well executed in these two cases, where the risk of failure is great, the questions about whether the theory is valid or not will rise.By interviewing the two local government employees in charge of the work with industrial policy, and studying their strategic documents I got my answers. This by looking at their work but also their attitudes towards the national policy in terms of understanding the policy, being able to work with it, and wanting to work with it.

This Master?s Thesis aims to investigate and assess the methods used to decrease the discharge ofmetals, primarily copper, from the water purification plant at Assa Industries plating factory inEskilstuna.Literature studies of the purification methods precipitation, ion exchange, evaporation, reverseosmosis and electrolysis has been done to appraise the adequacy of the technique. Thesetechniques are commonly used for purification of industrial waste water.Assa has four plating lines: the Trumline, the big Zinkline, the new Zinkline and the Decorativeline. The new Zinkline is the most modern of the four lines and purification is done byrecirculation over an ion exchange unit. The demand for fresh water is thereby heavily reduced.The Trumline, the big Zinkline and the Decorative line all use older techniques.

Bakgrund: Den senaste finansiella turbulensen pÄ bankmarknaden har uppmÀrksammat att likviditetsriskhantering varit ett eftersatt omrÄde. Förtroendet för men Àven mellan banker minskade samtidigt som osÀkerheten ökade. Detta pÄverkade bankernas möjligheter till att finansiera sig, vilket i sin tur ledde till ökade likviditetsrisker. Som ett sÀtt att öka förtroende och minska osÀkerheten har Baselkommittén för banktillsyn, BCBS, föreslagit att mer information bör delges bankmarknaden. Problematisering: Om otillrÀcklig information om bankens likviditetsriskhantering offentliggörs, pÄverkar osÀkerheten förtroendet för bankerna.
