Grooming : Ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv
The purpose of this essay is to analyse the descriptions of young girls' experiences of internet contacts, which have led up to sexual abuse. The aim is to give additional understanding and knowledge concerning grooming.      Grooming means that somebody gets in contact with someone else with the intention of committing sexual violations at a later stage. In most cases this concerns adults who contact children. We have chosen to confine ourselves to focusing on the grooming on internet that has happened to girls. By means of thematic analyses of texts from the books Jag kÀnde mig speciell, grooming pÄ internet, 2012 and Alexandramannen, vÄr tids största nÀtsexhÀrva, 2009, we have found certain themes and linked them up with previous research-work and also theory of social psychology.

AnvÀndbarhet pÄ Internet: Undersökning av en webbapplikation
Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka anvÀndbarheten av en webbapplikation som möjliggör bestÀllning/bokning av taxi via Internet. De huvudsakliga frÄgestÀllningarna var: Vad har anvÀndare för förvÀntningar pÄ tjÀnsten samt Vilka delar av webbapplikationen behöver förbÀttras? Ett tÀnka-högt protokoll anvÀndes dÀr sex försökspersoner fick prova pÄ att anvÀnda tjÀnsten via en dator och samtidigt resonera om applikationen. Resultaten visar att försökspersonerna förvÀntade sig en enkel, icke tidsödande tjÀnst, dÀr de skulle behöva ange i stort sett samma uppgifter för att bestÀlla en taxi via Internet som via telefon. Försökspersonerna upptÀckte ett flertal förbÀttringsmöjligheter, vilka handlade om tydligare förklaringar/beskrivningar och grÀnssnittets design, frÀmst gÀllande perceptionsproblem..

konsumentmarknaden: en fallstudie pÄ tvÄ företag
The purpose of this thesis was to highlight how different aspects of market communication are used when micro companies choose to use both Internet and store selling activities towards the consumer market. The thesis dealt with off-line and on-line communication considerations with focus on advertising, interactions, and relations. In order to achieve this purpose a case study was conducted, that revealed that the companies acted according to theories. The conclusions drawn from the thesis were that companies tended to rely on traditional ways of dealing with advertising and interaction. We could also see that relations were created as a result of unconscious behavior and that the Internet activities still were on a basic level..
Det regionala inrikesflyget : - en studie om framgÄngsfaktorer
The integration of the Internet in our society has shaped alot of the things we do in our lives. The Web allows us to achieve certain things directly through our computers, such as reading the paper and paying our bills. But this integration has also lead to another interesting change. Activists have begun to unload their operations onto the Net instead of holding on to the more traditional demonstrations performed in squares. This study aims to look into the world of cyberactivism and examine how cyberactivists experience the way activism has changed as a result of using the Internet.
En studie av inbyggda brandvÀggar : Microsoft XP och Red Hat Linux
Detta kandidatarbete utreder hur vÀl tvÄ operativsystems inbyggda brandvÀggar fungerar i symbios med en anvÀndares vanligaste tjÀnsteutnyttjande pÄ Internet, samt att se hur likartade de Àr i sitt skydd frÄn hot. De tvÄ operativsystemen som vi utgick ifrÄn var Microsoft Windows XP samt Red Hat Linux 8.0. Den hypotes vi arbetat kring lyder enligt följande: De tvÄ inbyggda brandvÀggarna Àr i stort likartade rörande skydd frÄn hot pÄ Internet och uppfyller anvÀndarnas tjÀnsteutnyttjande. De metoder vi anvÀnt, för att svara pÄ vÄr frÄgestÀllning, har delats upp i ett funktionalitetstest och ett sÀkerhetstest. I funktionalitetstestet provades de vanligaste InternettjÀnsterna med den inbyggda brandvÀggen och ifall det uppstod nÄgra komplikationer eller ej.
Scandinavian Airlines : En fallstudie om Scandinavian Airlines kundrelationer
For many companies, the Internet has revolutionized the relationship they have with their customers concerning costumer service. The use of Information Technology in regard to Internet as a media has provided companies with the opportunity to build customer databases in order to target their customers individually. The airline industry was one of the first pioneers to use the full potential of Internet to improve customer relations and its profits which we aim to investigate in greater detail in our thesis.Our thesis answers the question on how Scandinavian Airlines' (SAS) Eurobonus department uses their website to create valuable and profitable relationships with SAS loyalty club members through direct marketing. In order to answer our research question, three key informants have been interviewed - each representing different sub departments at Eurobonus; service and support, IT and marketing. Our results were that the Eurobonus department use direct marketing methods by sending customized e-mail offerings to target specific customer, using their customer databases.
MervÀrdeskapande pÄ Internet : En undersökning av Internetbaserade resebyrÄer
The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether Swedish, Internet-based travel agencies, acting on a consumer market are working towards creating added value for their customers. If that is the case, how and why do they use such a mode of operation.The theoretical framework was based on GrönroosŽ ?Augmented service offering?, which treats added value as an addition to the core service. The services offered on five of the larger companiesŽ websites on the market were examined and 3 representatives of the five companies were interviewed.The study shows that 2 of the examined companies did not produce any added value, while 3 of the companies did produce added value for the customer. The added value was generated through packaging of core-, facilitating- and supporting services for the purpose of differentiating the company towards competitors and generating service fees..

This essay is about publishing on the Internet and aims to understand the differences between publishing information on the webpage Wikipedia (Swedish version) in contrast to other information pages on the Internet, for example blog, discussion pages, homepages etcetera. The study is based upon an article which described that 90% of the information publishers at Wikipedia belongs to a small elite of white, western, well educated men between the age of thirty to thirtythree. This study examines why people who does not belong to this heteronormativity publish information in other Internet places but not at Wikipedia.Wikipedia is an open source site, where anyone can publish and are even encouraged to do so and is often described as an utopian dream of the digital democracy, so why donÂŽt people express themselves on Wikipedia? The method is based on two discussion groups, which are compared and analyzed. The study is based upon theoretical competence within feminist theory and conceptions such as intersectionality, heteronormativity and digital divide as well as theories about digital devices and social order.

This thesis deal with how seniors treat and view the digital world, what their information seeking process looks like and what they perceive as the major obstacles regarding the usage of IKT and the Internet. The experience of the seniors is put in relation to how Uppsala City Library is carrying out the task to increase digital participa-tion. This operation is part of the Digidel network which during the preceding year concluded their campaign Digidel2013 which aimed to render 500 000 new users digitally participant. Following the campaign Digidel published a report on how to further work to increase the digital participation derived from the experience gath-ered from Digidel2013. This report is discussed and put in relation to the proposed measures of Jan A.G.M.

Purpose/Aim: In the information and communication technology society (ICT) we live in today it is easy to feel that we are constantly expected to be available. The daily contact with the Internet and the use of cell phones has changed our way to communicate. With this in mind in combination with the increased stress among young adults my aim is to investigate how young adults, aged 23-26 years, experience to be constantly connected and available through the Internet and the cell phone. What are their opinions, attitudes and feelings about what this entails in their lives?Material/Method: The essay is based on four focus group interviews with sixteen students from Uppsala University aged 23-26, two groups consisting of women and two groups consisting of men.

A large share of Sveaverken's turnover depends on the role as a subcontractor for Delaval within the areas ventilation, manure handling and feeding systems. Sveaverken wants to investigate the possibility to increase sales by establishing new sales channels, for example e-commerce
This thesis is an analysis of the Swedish farmers use of internet, attitudes towards e-commerce and Sveaverken's interest within this area. There is also a minor economic analysis of the cost of establishing the e-commerce site.
The study focuses on farmers who are potential customers to Sveaverken within Sweden.
To examine the farmers opinions about internet and e-commerce a questionnaire was developed and sent out in November 2006, to 500 farmers of which 45% answered.
The results show that the average age of the farmers was 42,5 years.
