Detta arbete är utfört på beställning av LKAB, vilka vill säkra sin produktion av järnmalmspellets genom att utöka antalet leverantörer av kvartsit. Det är viktigt att säkerställa att kvartsiten håller tillräckligt hög kvalité, och nya produkter måste därför testas. Kvartsit används av LKAB som tillsatsmedel vid tillverkning av järnmalmspellets. Kvartsiten som undersökts i detta arbete kommer ifrån Tornio, Mårnes, Tana och Kvitnes. Syftet med arbetet var att testa kvartsiternas malbarhet, kemiska sammansättning samt undersöka dem geologiskt.

This thesis is performed as a summarizing project for the mechanical engineering education at School of Engineering in Jönköping. All knowledge necessary to complete this thesis was gathered from previous courses and education.This project was to develop a new product for the company TR Equipment AB in Tranås. The new product is going to be based on an already existing product, TR 1700. TR 1700 is a bathtub equipped with a height adjustable function. This product is used in retirement homes and in the care of disabled people.

In cooperation with Hälsoteamet Halmstad a pilot study was made to see if whole body vibration exercise has any effect on muscle strength, movement and experience of pain in people with knee osteoarthritis. Today whole body vibration exercise is a revolutionary exercise method that needs more studies to show the positive and negative effects. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease where more cartilage is destroyed than replaced. The most common symptoms are pain, stiffness, restricted movement, muscularly atrophy, tenderness and instability. The cartilage needs pressure to rebuild, it is therefore important that the patient exercise.

Syftet med studien är att få en fördjupad förståelse av hinder i matematiklärande ur ett lärarperspektiv med avseende på särskilt stöd i matematik och hänsyn till inkludering. Då vi vill ha en fördjupad förståelse väljer vi en kvalitativ inriktning på vår studie. Vi har genomfört tolv intervjuer med lärare. Det framkom en rad olika teman när det gäller hinder i matematiklärandet. Teman som lärmiljön, självförtroendet och motivation, koncentrationssvårigheter samt sociala svårigheter. När eleverna uppvisar svårigheter i matematik sker en rad olika extra anpassningar, vilka görs inom ramen för undervisning.

Femsjö is a small parish situated in Hylte municipality, Växjö diocese. The parish has a total area of 8230 ha of which 5000 ha are covered with forest. There have not been any large industries in the parish offering work opportunities for the inhabitants, so they have had to generate income from their land and the forest. Instead of going to the bank to get a bank loan the people of Femsjö parish went out in to the forest and harvested trees for timber and extra cash revenue. Production of pine tar and potash were two other ways that the residents of Femsjö parish could earn extra money for the household in order to keep starvation away.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur man arbetar i ett rektorsområde då man beslutat sig för att arbeta medvetet med matematik i ett 1-16 års perspektiv för att alla elever ska bli godkända i matematik i år 9. Genom kvalitativa halvstrukturerade intervjuer med rektor specialpedagoger lärare och förskollärare har vi fått en inblick i hur utvecklingsarbetet, matematikprojektet, inleddes, hur det genomfördes och hur pedagogerna påverkats. Då vi analyserat intervjuerna finner vi att det genom projektet skapats en samsyn på hur den totala inlärningsprocessen ska se ut, vilket är grunden för att det ska bli en kontinuitet och en röd tråd över gränserna i de olika verksamheterna. Pedagogerna har utvecklat ett mer medvetet matematiskt tänkande och arbetssätt. Barnens matematikutveckling har synliggjorts och pedagogerna ger tillsammans idag grunden för ett livslångt lärande.

Introduktion/bakgrund: Artros är en kronisk ledsjukdom som drabbar en eller flera leder i kroppen. Vanliga symptom är smärta, stelhet, svullnad, muskelsvaghet och ledinstabilitet. Träning, viktnedgång och patientinformation är de tre viktigaste behandlingsrekommendationerna. Behandling bör påbörjas så tidigt som möjligt i sjukdomsförloppet för att ha bäst effekt. På flertalet hälsovårdscentraler i landet genomförs artrosbehandling i form av en artrosskola där träning och patientinformation står i fokus, dock är det inte infört på samtliga hälsocentraler.

Renhållningen är den avdelning inom Falu Energi & Vatten som ansvarar för tömning av allt hushållsavfall i Falu kommun. Renhållningen har infört ett nytt insamlingssystem för komposterbart avfall i papperspåse vilket krävde ett extra kärl, anpassat för ändamålet. Den stora mängden extra kärl innebar att personalen inte hann med att tömma allt avfall inom ordinarie arbetstid. En övergripande omdimensionering har gjorts av SWECO VIAK och SWECO Position. Examensarbetet syftar till att utreda förutsättningar för införande av system för ruttoptimering av sophämtning och även att ge förslag till hur positionering av hämtställen ska kunna genomföras.

The purpose has been to study what teachers mean whit special aid, and if the support is individually adapted for each students needs. I have trougt interviews, observations and examinations of diverse documents found paradoxes where teachers and the scool leaders claim that they work whit the integration of all the students at school, while the teality shows a different picture. I have found a clear segregation of students, where they have on repeated occasions had to leave the classroom to receive tuition. The school stuff has a wide iiew of wich students are included in the term "students in need of special tuition".

This case study aims to find out whether the promotion of Swedish news through push technology, and the selection process behind it, obeys the traditional criteria of news values.A months-worth of push notifications, sent out by the mobile phone applications of newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Expressen, were analysed through the application of a number of taxonomies meant to determine their newsworthiness.These taxonomies were, however, based on 20th century media, and do not necessarily adapt well to analysis of digital news publication forms. The purpose of this study is therefore to find out which criteria are still relevant to the news selection behind a digitalformat such as push notifications; and which have become obsolete.The basis of this study is the criteria of news values originally designed by Galtung and Ruge in 1965 and revised by Harcup and O?Neill in 2001; as well as the model of assessing front page news proposed by Hvitfelt. The content analysis was conducted in a manner as similar to that of Harcup and O?Neill?s own study as possible, so as to constitute a re-revisal ?revamped for the digital age.Our results show that the criterion of ?frequency? ? that is the conformance between the time-span of an event and the publication frequency of a medium ? has acquired an ambiguous importance.

För att tillgodose allmänhetens behov av vägar, kraft- och vattenledningar med mera, får mark tas i anspråk. Expropriationsändamål och ersättningsbestämmelser för att tvångsvis ta mark i anspråk, finns stadgat i Expropriationslagen (SFS 1972:719). Genom århundraden har kritik framförts mot höga kostnader för att få åtkomst till mark vilket motiverat sänkningar av ersättning för mark. År 2010 genomfördes ändringar i ersättningsbestämmelserna som syftade till att höja markersättningen. Förhandlingar ska alltid föras vid markåtkomst för att eftersträva frivilliga uppgörelser.

Families with limited financial resources risk social exclusion in today?s consumption-based society, where status and identity are tied to items like clothing, gifts and activities. Limited financial resources can therefore often lead to social isolation because consumption is central to social participation, something that can rarely be prioritized in poor families. In preschool, unclear policies on extra costs can negatively affect families. The purpose of the study was to investigate how socioeconomically vulnerable families experience and are affected by the preschool and its requirements, as well as how preschool teachers work to reduce the economic gap among families in the preschool context.

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur några pedagoger upptäcker barn som riskerar läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Styrdokumenten talar om likvärdighet i undervisningen, vilket bör innebära en likvärdighet i på vilka grunder extra hjälp ochsärskilt stöd ges till barn. Materialet omfattar 15 intervjuer med pedagoger i förskola, förskoleklass och skolår 1. Resultatet visar att samtliga pedagoger anser sig kompetenta att finna dessa barn i ordinarie verksamhet främst genom att lyssna av deras talspråk. Det är svårt att finna tydliga regler för vilka nivåer av språksvårigheter som renderar uppföljning.

The aim of this study is to elucidate the process in which psychology was separated from philosophy and established itself as a distinct academic discipline in Sweden. I argue that the concept of will, as well as the concepts of thinking and emotion, have a lot to tell us about the rise of academic psychology in Sweden. This is done through an analysis of psychology textbooks, encyclopaedia-articles and academic texts on the themes will and psychology, from around 1800 till 1950.Prior to the establishment of the first chair of psychology in Uppsala 1948, the discipline was above all a part of the philosophical discipline. For psychology to become a science of its own, it was crucial to obtain a position among the empirical sciences. It thus had to distance itself from philosophy, and in particular from metaphysics.
