Syftet med studien är att öka kunskapen om män som har en impulsiv aggressivitet riktad mot sin partner, och om männens brister i affektmedvetenhet (alexitymi) samt deras förmåga till empati och om de skiljer sig i dessa aspekter från män som söker hjälp för relationsproblem på Manscentrum. 20 män med våldsamt beteende och 20 med relationsproblem fyllde i Aggression Questionnaire-Revised Swedish Version (AQ-RSV), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) och Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI). Resultaten visade ett positivt samband mellan aggressivitet och alexitymi i hela populationen och ett negativt samband mellan alexitymi och empati. De våldsamma männen var också aggressivare enligt AQ-RSV än de med relationsproblem, men inga andra skillnader var signifikanta. De män som hade erfarenhet av våld i ursprungsfamiljen hade ett starkare samband när det gäller aggressivitet och alexitymi.

Many new electronic publication systems have arisen in the past few years, one of them is the weblog. In 1999 there were 23 weblogs, today there are millions thus a need for organisation has appeared, both special metadata and subject indexes have been invented and created.  I uppsatsen undersöks effektiviteten av de tre nordiska aktieindexterminerna OMXS30, OBX och OMXC20 vars underliggande index representerar den svenska, norska respektive den danska aktiemarknaden. Analysen baseras på den svaga formen av den effektiva marknadshypotesen och den närbesläktade random walk hypotesen. Aktieindexterminerna undersöks under perioden januari 1997 till december 2008 samt under perioder då den nordiska marknaden karaktäriseras av bull och bear perioder. Testresultaten av Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) samt Kwiatkowski, Phillips, Schmidt och Shin (KPSS) testet tyder på att aktieindexterminerna följer en random walk och att nordiska aktieindexterminer är effektiva under den undersökta perioden. Då testen utförs för de kortare bull och bear perioderna erhålls motsägelsefulla resultat vilket medför att slutsatser om huruvida aktieindexterminerna är effektiva under dessa perioder ej kan dras. .

This study uses qualitative research consisting of six semi-structural interviews of treatment workers who, in various capacities, have worked with men who use violence against their female partners. The purpose has been to show what the treatment counselor understand to be the reasons behind the men?s violence, what kind of backgrounds and problems they believe these abusers have and, lastly, how they view the male abusers as clients. The empirical data was analyzed through four perspectives and explanatory models derived from the past thirty years of Scandinavian research on the reasons behind men?s violence against women.

Vårt syfte med detta arbete är att se om vi kan finna faktorer som skiljer lönsamma företag som går bra på Stockholmsbörsen från lönsamma företag som inte går bra. This study explores the effects of two different post-treatment methods on stain reduction in glazed creamware from the late 20th century. The objects stains have been characterized by type one and type two stains which is the result of prolonged contact with food residues, were subjected to the same initial stain reduction. The two post-treatment methods examined are soaking the objects in deionized water and surface rinsing with deionized water. The comparative analysis included photographs under normal and UV-light exposure to assess stain visibility, weight measurements before and after treatments to monitor the absorption and evaporation of liquids, and observations throughout the experiment. The results revealed that while type two stains showed significant alterations after treatments, specifically after soaking, type one stains remained unaffected by both methods.

The purpose of the study was, with initial position from two particular youth homes, to survey the staff?s experiences regarding different youth cultures that might occur at the institutions and how they react to them. The question formulations were as follows: What kind of youth cultures might occur at the institution and how are they being expressed, according to some of the staff members? How do the same staff members, individually, see their role and prospect to influence the type of youth culture that is developing on the institution? Earlier research in the field were used as theoretical starting positions as well as the concepts of ?looking-glass self?, ?the generalized other? and ?the overtaking of roles? in the symbolic-interactionism. Qualitative research interviews were carried through with three of the employees at the two youth homes and the results of the study evinced that both positive and negative youth cul-tures develops at both of the institutions, concluding the fact that youths affect each other both ways.

AbstractIt is unclear how L2 students acquire vocabulary ? how is it taught ? or wheather it can even be taught. In an SSL (Swedish as second language) program for young adults the ambition has been to integrate the L2 students? into the national high school (gymnasium) courses as quickly as possible, in order to meet the students? demands for subject education and to challenge them on an appropriate knowledge level. Teachers noticed quite early that the course ? integrated L2 students seemed to have a deeper understanding of words and an easier flow in their speech.

The market risk premium is one of the most important parameters in finance. Its value and the ways to calculate a risk premium for the market is a widely debated subject. This thesis examines numerous ways of calculating a risk premium for the Swedish market with regard to how good an estimation they make of a real risk premium. Estimations based on historical periods ranging from 20 to 85 years is calculated as well as a premium based on forward-looking estimates. The real risk premium is solved out for a selection of companies and an index with the help of CAPM.

Repetition of Non- word (make- up word that has not some semantic content) has been proposed as a reliable index of phonological memory in children with language impairment (LI). The aim of this study was to find out the possible similarities and differences concerning phonotactic non-words and working memory in 18 bilingual Swedish-Arabic children with and without LI ages 4-6 years. The investigation was undertaken by conducting three tests including NEPSY, WPPSI-III and a Word repetition test. The results showed that there are not significant differences between the two groups regarding various parts of NEPSY. On the other hand the results showed two significant differences in WPPSI-III regarding Picture categories and Word repetition tests for Swedish Non-word.

The present essay concerns the Levinasian understanding of responsibility in relation to the two spheres that Levinas introduces in his second major work Otherwise than Being or Beyond Essence, namely the Saying and the Said. The essay investigates some of the different meanings that the concept responsibility takes on in regard to these two spheres, and thus also in regard to the separation between the ethical and the political that is apparent in the book. Is it possible to find a politically uttered responsibility in Levinas Otherwise than Being or Beyond Essence?The essay wants to emphasize the continuous transition between the ethical or the Saying and the political or the Said, and vice versa, with the purpose of showing how the two spheres may be conceived simultaneously. By posing the relationship between the two as a reciprocal rather than a oppositional one, the essay aims to suggest that an understanding of responsibility at once must be ethical and political.

(the reformation on property structure) was done, howit was when äganderättsutredningen (the adjudication), in the 1970s, was accomplished,and finally how the structure looks when land consolidation has been implemented.For the template of the studies, seven different villages were chosen.The basis for the study was comprised of acts for each stage and each village.The study showed that change in property structure has occurred.

Våldtäkt är en handling som kränker och förändrar kvinnors och flickors självkänsla. Attributionen av skuld på offret kan bero på en traditionell uppfattning av könsroller. Fem grupper med sammanlagt 92 personer besvarade en enkät som mätte inställningen till mannens skuld med fyra vinjetter och frågor om de generella stereotypa attityder om våldtäkt. De svarande gjorde en generellt strängare bedömning av mannens skuld vid kvinnans påverkan av alkohol och tenderade att ge en mildare bedömning vid initiativ från kvinnan. Vid en 5*2 Anova, med yrkesgrupper och kön, av stereotypa attityder till våldtäkt var de kvinnliga deltagarnas skattningar signifikant högre än männens på samtliga index.

Syftet var att undersöka riskfaktorer för grad av alkohol- och narkotikamissbruk ochför tungt alkohol- och narkotikamissbruk med fokus på familjefaktorer i ett svensktsampel av 14079 missbrukare. Deltagarna hade blivit intervjuade med AddictionSeverity Index (ASI) på 51 kommunala missbruks- och beroendeenheter.Gemensamma riskfaktorer för både alkohol- och narkotikamissbruk var missbruk isläkten och svårigheter i relationer till närstående. Mer alkoholmissbruk i släkten varassocierat till mer alkoholproblem och mer narkotikamissbruk i släkten till mernarkotikaproblem. Lägre ålder, mindre utbildning, att vara utlandsfödd och att hablivit utsatt för misshandel ökade risken för narkotikamissbruk. Högre ålder, bättreutbildning och att vara född i Sverige ökade risken för alkoholmissbruk.
