The essay examines how female politicians themselves experience their political pathin regards to opportunities and obstacles. The questions of the essay revolve aroundthis as well as if there are any differences in experience between politicians from thetwo Swedish parties Socialdemokraterna and Moderaterna. The two parties are chosento represent traditional left and right ideologies. Quantitative measures are used toexamine the female representation in Växjö kommun, which does not show a hugeuneven amount of either men or women. This paper examines the concept of heritage and which factors that determines how we evaluate and select what should be considered cultural heritage. This has been examined using a qualitative study involving interviews with seven people working within different parts of the cultural heritage sector. The purpose was to get a picture of what the public sector?s cultural heritage consists of and why so. The research question was: What gives the status of cultural heritage? This was examined by looking at further questions: What defines the concept of cultural heritage? Who decides what should be considered cultural heritage? What is significant when discussing cultural heritage? One conclusion is that the concept itself is experienced as diffuse but that the meaning can be summarized as the traces we leave behind to be preserved by future generations.

SAMMANFATTNINGBuksmärtor är en av de vanligaste orsakerna till att människor söker sjukvård. Historiskt sett har smärtlindring till patienter med buksmärta varit restriktiv. Otillräcklig smärtlindring kan bero på rädsla för att smärtlindrande läkemedel ska dölja viktiga kliniska tecken som kan leda till diagnostiska svårigheter.Syfte: Att undersöka i vilken omfattning ambulanssjuksköterskan smärtlindrar patienter med buksmärta, i vilken utsträckning patienter smärtskattas samt om det föreligger någon skillnad mellan män och kvinnor när det gäller administrering av smärtlindrande läkemedel och omfattning av smärtskattning prehospitalt.Metod: En retrospektiv jämförande deskriptiv journalgranskning med kvantitativ ansats. Ett konsekutivt urval gjordes och sammanlagt granskades 200 journaler, varav 100 omfattade kvinnor och 100 omfattade män.Resultat: 21 % (n=42) av patienterna smärtlindrades. Det fanns ingen statistisk signifikans som visade att kvinnor och män smärtlindrades i olika omfattning.

The aim of the present literature study was to describe the significant factors contributing to the development of moral distress and the consequences of moral distress can lead to in the nurse profession. A literature search was performed in the databases Medline through PubMed and Academic Search Elite on the basis of in advanced defined criterions. A total of 19 articles was reviewed and included in the study. The main result revealed that nurses experience moral distress and that it is frequent within the nurse profession. The findings revealed that there seem to be several significant factors in the development of moral distress, such as providing life-sustaining care, competing loyalties, conflicts with the physician, communication barriers, emotional barriers, cultural barriers, regulation and rules and working environment that gives the nurse difficult or unsolved ethical dilemmas.

Conclusion: A GAP-analysis showed a difference in the attitude towards the sales position at ABB.

AbstractWhen I was a child my mother and I wrote a lot of poems, but in school we didn´t write poems at all. As a teacher I want to show the children the joy and happiness of writing poems, stories and fairy tales.The purpose of this report was to investigate the work with poetry and creative writing in my class and how the pupils experienced their own work/writing. I began with asking the pupils in my class a few and simple questions about poetry, then we made a diffrent kinds of poetry writing and a finally I repeated the interviews with the children. The poetry writing took place during six weeks under the spring semester.I found that as a teacher it is possible to work with creative writing and poetry in diffrent ways. The pupils enjoyed the writing and their opinions were that they had increased their skills in rhyming, writing and spelling, that they had learnt new words and to use their fantasy and that they had learnt a great deal of how to cooperate.KeywordsCreative writing, fantasy, poems..

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a special unit for patients who is in the need for emergency life-sustaining measures and every patient has complex medical- technical equipment. The experiences of a critical illness and the needs of critical care are experienced in different ways. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences from patients in the ICU and how this experience has an influence on the patients. The method was a study of literature with a qualitative inception based on eight scientific articles and the analysis of content has been inspired by Graneheim and Lundman (2003). The result of the study is presented by four categories: to loose the ability to make themselves understood, to be forced to adjust to the environment of caring, to have the lack of connection with reality and to be in an intensive care environment, The results showed that patients in the ICU are affected by the attitude from the staff, the equipment around them as well as the sounds and lights in the environment there.

Bedömning av smärta hos icke kommunicerbara patienter är en utmaning för intensivvårdssjuksköterskan. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor uppger att de bedömer smärta hos denna patientgrupp. En deskriptiv och jämförande tvärsnittsstudie gjordes med hjälp av en webbaserad enkät. Enkäten distribuerades till alla kliniskt verksamma intensivvårdssjuksköterskor (n=96, svarsfrekvens 75%) på två intensivvårdsavdelningar på Akademiska sjukhuset i Uppsala.De smärtparametrar som sjuksköterskorna ansåg viktigast var pulsstegring, blodtrycksstegring och mimik/ansiktsuttryck. Påbyggnadsutbildning eller uppdrag inom smärtområdet hade ingen signifikant betydelse för vilka smärtparametrar sjuksköterskorna uppgav som viktigast.

Bakgrund: Långvarig muskuloskeletal smärta är ett vanligt problem i Europa och patienter upplever att deras liv påverkas negativt av smärtan. Det finns en korrelation mellan långvarig smärta och psykisk ohälsa som till exempel nedstämdhet, oro och ångest. Med ett biopsykosocialt synsätt ser man helheten av personen och en biopsykosocial multiprofessionell rehabilitering är fördelaktig.Syfte: Undersöka vilka tankar och förväntningar patienter med långvarig smärta har inför och under rehabilitering.Metod: Examensarbetet är en systematisk litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats. 6 kvalitativa studier har kvalitetsgranskats, analyserats och sammanställts för att beskriva patienters tankar och förväntningar inför och under rehabilitering.Resultat: Studiernas deltagare upplevde psykosociala faktorer som oro och rädsla. Vikten av stöd och uppföljning och av att bli trodd och tagen på allvar upplevs också som viktiga faktorer.

The aim of the study was to reach a deeper understanding and knowledge about how women with an experience of prostitution perceive what this has meant for them and how it has influenced their lives. The questions of the study were: (1) How has the prostitution experience affected the women in their lives? (2) How have they learnt to deal with this experience? To answer these questions a qualitative method was used where interviews were conducted with four women with experience of prostitution. All women experienced that the prostitution had affected their lives. Examples given that inter alia relationships, sexuality, and self-image had been affected.

My essay is written from a basis of one of my own experiences were a child is perceived by us pedagogues as lonely and introverted, as well as having trouble socialising because of, what we can see, difficulties making himself understood verbally. The purpose of this study is to examine what creates motivation in the workplace of a small company with a high employee satisfaction index. The case study consists of qualitative interviews that help explain what the most important motivational factors are for the experienced IT consultants in a company that was founded by a circle of friends. The study concludes that the unique and equal pay model implicates an economic risk to the individual consultant but results in liberties, synergies and benefits. These appeal more than either self-employment or work at a larger IT consultancy that several consultants have backgrounds in. An expansion is ongoing since two years back, which threatened the culture but implicated opportunities for the individual consultants.

Occupational stress and the use of alcohol to reduce stress are both separately common in our society. A few researchers have combined the two factors.The aim of this essay was to obtain an increased understanding of how male and female managers estimate their alcohol habits in relation to their occupational stress.We have interviewed nine managers who work at a social services department in Scania. Our main theories were the theory of psychosocial work environment of Lazarus, Karaseks demand/control model, epidemiology- and cultural perspective.Our results were;· Psychosocial work environment contributes to if the interviewed people experienced stress at work.· The grade of control has great influence if the interviewed people experience stress.· There weren't any correlation between stress and increased consumption of alcohol..

Idag lever cirka 40-65% av Sveriges befolkning med kronisk smärta. Påverkan av kronisk smärta på en persons livsstil varierar, en del ser smärtan som en olägenhet i vardagen medan andra upplever att smärtan påverkar varje aspekt av livet. Det är inte lätt att behandla kronisk smärta då variationer på smärtan är många och diagnosen ofta är osäker. Alternativa metoder för att behandla smärta blir allt vanligare och en sådan metod är mindfulness. Syftet med studien var att beskriva den samlade kunskapen kring mindfulness verkan hos personer med kronisk smärta.
