Background: Abortion implies that the pregnancy is interrupted. According to the World Health Organization approximately 46 million induced abortions are carried out each year. Different methods of abortion can be used such as medical and surgical methods. The medical method especially affects a nurse?s experience of the procedure.

Det pågår hela tiden stora förändringar och omstruktureringar inom hälso- och sjukvården, i och med organisationens uppbyggnad och komplexitet kan det vara en utmaning för den eller de personerna som vill genomföra förändringar oavsett om initiativet kommer uppifrån eller nerifrån. Ett systematiskt förändringsarbete är nödvändigt för att kvaliteten inom hälso- och sjukvården ska kunna säkras och där har sjuksköterskan en central roll. För att ett lyckat förändringsarbete ska kunna ske krävs att verksamheten har en hög kompetens och att fokus ligger på patienten. Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer som inverkar på sjuksköterskans möjligheter att initiera, bedriva och påverka förändringsarbete inom hälso- och sjukvården. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie där 18 vetenskapliga artiklar granskades.

Purpose: The purpose of the present study is to investigate whether and how nine teachers of special education for older students, primarily at Upper secondary school, consider the smartphone an appropriate pedagogical means of assistance to improve participation and to support students with special education needs within and outside the school environment. Theory: The theoretical framework for the study is the sociocultural perspective on learning. The sociocultural perspective is related to the relational perspective and sociocultural learning theory involves learning and participation in school. It views the human being as socially active within a certain historical and cultural context which actively influences the way we act, how we learn and develop through interaction with others in the social, everyday practice. The latter is of vital importance here.

Bakgrund:För att ge patientsäker omvårdnad utifrån ett etiskt- och holistiskt förhållningssätt behövs välutbildade sjuksköterskor. Den verksamhetsförlagda utbildningen inom sjuksköterskeprogrammet ska medverka till att praktiska omvårdnadskunskaper införlivas och grundläggs hos den blivande sjuksköterskan. Det är viktigt att sjuksköterskestudenten får ut så mycket som möjligt av sin verksamhetsförlagda utbildning för att vara förberedd för det kommande yrkeslivet. För att förbättra kommande studenters lärandemöjligheter är därför en beskrivning av tidigare studenters erfarenheter och upplevelser av att lära sig omvårdnad på verksamhetsförlagd utbildning relevant att studera.Syfte:Att beskriva avgörande situationer som leder till att sjuksköterskestudenten lär sig omvårdnad under verksamhetsförlagd utbildning.Metod:Kvalitativ studie. ABSTRACTBackground: As a nurse it is a part of your work description to precepting students. A good relationship between preceptor and student is important for a successful precepting witch can be rewarding for both parties. There are many studies on how nurses in hospital departments experience precepting students, however it is not as explored in the prehospital care.Objective: To describe ambulance nurses' experience of precepting nursing students in the third and final year of university-level nursing school.Method: A qualitative study was conducted. Nine respondents at two ambulance stations in central Sweden were selected with the help of strategic convenience sample. The informants were nurses with specialist education in ambulance/prehospital care who had experience of working in the ambulance unit for at least a year.Result: The majority of participants were positive to precepting students and the time seemed adequate.

This paper investigates the determinants of corporate cash holdings for a broad sample of Swedish non-financial firms in the 1999 - 2009 period. Using a fixed effect regression model, we find that firms with riskier cash flow hold relatively high ratios of cash to total assets. This is in line with both the precautionary motive and agency motive for cash holdings. Net working capital is found to be negatively related to corporate cash holdings. A result commonly interpreted as support for a negative substitution effect between net working capital and cash.

Background: Surgical complications has been the main cause of medical injuries and deaths worldwide. In 2008 WHO developed the checklist for safe surgery to reduce the number of surgical complications. The objective of the checklist is to strengthen already established safety routines and contribute to better cooperation and communication. Research shows that compliance to the checklist is deficient, which can affect patient safety.Aim: The aim was to study the extent to which theatre nurses participate in the use of the checklist.Method: Observational study was conducted with a descriptive design and quantitative approach. 24 observations were carried out with aid of an observation protocol of two surgical units at a hospital in central Sweden.Result: The results showed that Timeout initiated widely but compliance to all items was considerably lower.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva vad sjuksköterskor och undersköterskor ansåg inbegripas av begreppet omvårdnad och ?god omvårdnad? samt vad för arbetsuppgifter de olika yrkeskategorierna utförde inom ramen för omvårdnad. Metod:Individuella intervjuer av tre sjuksköterskor och fyra undersköterskor. Innehållet analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

The challenges facing low voltage grids are rising as an increasing number of domestic houses transition from fossil fueled heating to electricity based heating. Several environmental goals and visions have the same transition from fossil based power to electricity based power in mind for the transportation sector. One of the most important tools for this transformation is widely regarded to be the electric vehicle. With the demands of the electric vehicle pressuring the power grid, several questions arise regarding the growth of the electric vehicle market and what repercussions it may have on the grid. This paper focuses on a typical low voltage grid in southern Sweden and what effects a growing electric vehicle market may have on it. Through computer-assisted simulations based on several future scenarios regarding the EV market, this paper finds that few modifications and reinforcements are needed on this particular grid within the next 10 to 15 years.

This study aims to map the opinions and attitudes of lokal elected officials regarding corruption and corruption preventing measures. The study also attempt to determine weather opinions differ based on the interviewed party political affiliations. The study material of the thesis is therefore largely based on interviews with elected representatives from the municipalities; Älmhult, Lessebo and Tingsryd.  .

Bakgrund: Det förekommer stora nutritionsproblem på äldreboenden i Sverige och andra delar av världen. Sjukdom och åldrande är riskfaktorer för näringsmässiga störningar. Undernäring hos äldre är associerad med ökad dödlighet och sjuklighet samt en ökad risk för trycksårsutveckling och infektioner. Socialstyrelsen har utfärdat en rekommendation angående nattfastans längd för att motverka undernäring och dess komplikationer, samt för att öka energi- och näringsintaget hos vårdtagarna. Syfte: Att belysa nattfastan på äldreboenden i en stad i södra Sverige samt undersöka kunskap och attityder om nattfasta hos omvårdnadspersonalen på äldreboenden.

The establishment of loan-based structures within a group of associated enterprises with the purpose of lowering the group's taxes by using deductible interest payments to transfer money has become increasingly popular in Sweden during the past few years. The legislator has therefore implemented new laws which restrict the amount of interest payments that are deductible within a group of associated enterprises. As a consequence the definition of associated enterprises has become of high importance. The definition has been criticized and is perceived by many as vague and difficult to interpret. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the definition of associated enterprises in Swedish tax law with the aim of clarifying its scope and meaning.
