"Dock benådades de till svärdet" : En glömd historia om det legaliserade blodbadet i Kalmar 1525.

The study examines the massacre of the garrison of the castle of Kalmar in 1525 and its causes. The goal of the investigation has been on the one hand to elucidate the most probable sequence of events, and on the other to identify as many different plausible explanations to the massacre as possible. For this end, four contemporary sources have been examined and compared in their details. To enable a broad basis for interpretation, the author has consulted various works on the themes of warfare, soldiers and violence in the late middle ages and the sixteenth century. Apart from political aspects, the study highlights social and cultural conditions as important factors in explaining how the massacre could be carried out without provoking any single part of society.

?Att hjälpa eller stjälpa? : Kvinnors upplevelse av missfall och vård vid missfall

Background: Miscarriage is one of the most common complications connected to pregnancy, every fourth woman undergoes a miscarriage during her lifetime. There is often no medical explanation why miscarriage happens, although the risk may increase due to certain factors in lifestyle or diseases. During incomplete miscarriages medical or surgical treatment is needed.Women are treated at surgical or gynecological departments and the period of treatment is often very brief, on some occasions not even a day. Therefore, the nurse faces a great challenge in meeting the women?s needs during the period of treatment.Aim: The aim of the study is to illuminate womens experiences of miscarriage and the treatment they experienced.Methods: A systematic literary study containing 13 articles.Results: Miscarriage is an individual experience and many women are affected emotionally and have many strong feelings afterwards.

Jag har i mitt examensarbete skapat ett cykelmärke. Syftet har varit att fördjupa mig i grafisk design och skapa en komplett grafisk profil till ett företag och samtidigt att lära mig mer om hur man skapar en varumärkesidentitet. Det konkreta målet var att ta fram tillräckligt mycket material för att cykelmärket, komet, ska kunna lanseras på riktigt. Alltså ett identitetsprogram med grafisk profil, en provcykel, kommunikationsmaterial, en hemsida, en katalog, ett event etc..

Produktionsutveckling : Lean Six Sigma

Detta examensarbete har utförts i samarbete med ett företag som önskar vara anonymt i rapporten. Företaget har nyligen fått höjda produktionsmål då de fått ta över produktion från en fabrik som håller på att avvecklas. Då arbetskraften fortfarande är densamma har detta lett till att de anställda får jobba övertid. Studien har huvudsakligen fokuserats på en avdelning inom företaget men till viss del har studien också krävt att mindre delar av de två andra avdelningarna också studerades.Syftet med projektet var att se över hur arbetsprocessen kunde effektiviseras så att målen kan nås utan att personalen behöver jobba övertid. Som ramverk för projektet användes en version av Six Sigmas lösningsmetodik DMAIC, nämligen RDMAIC, där en Recognize-fas har lagts till i starten av arbetet.

The Power of the Gift Bag : En studie om användandet av gift bags som marknadsföringskanal

In a time of fierce global competition, where an immense amount of commercial messages reaches consumers around the clock and in every conceivable context, companies constantly seek to find new ways to reach out with their product. One way to do so, that has increased in popularity in recent years, is the use of gift bags. A gift bag may contain samples, miniature products and even products in full size, as a rule from several different brands, which the recipient receives free of charge. The gift bag is typically distributed at some form of event, such as store openings, fashion shows, theme parties and the like, and the receiver of the gift bag can then evaluate the content without any obligation to purchase. The ambition of the companies that choose to participate with their products in a gift bag is, of course, that the recipient will find their products satisfactory, and ideally, that he or she will continue to consume the brand in the future.There are numerous scientific research contributions related to the use of free samples, but very few that concern the gift bag, where a collection of samples from different sources and brands appear.

Affärsresandet och mässor har funnits i alla tider, den första världsutställningen genomfördes redan år 1851. MICE-industrin (Meetings, incentive, conference och exhibition) utbreder sig allt mer över hela världen. Detta har resulterat i utvecklingen av allt fler anläggningar och diverse resurser. En oro har på senare tid uppkommit gällande om expansionen kommer att skapa en mättnad av marknaden. Vilka resurser krävs egentligen för att en destination ska vara intressant för MICE-evenemang? Denna studie avser att undersöka detta genom kvalitativa intervjuer med verksamma eventföretag inom MICE-industrin för att sedan sätta det empiriska materialet mot tidigare framforskad information kring detta.

The conflict in Aceh had been going on for 30 years time, but ended after a tsunami hit the area in 2004. The impact the natural catastrophe had on the conflict was that both GAM and the Indonesian government was brought together with the intent of reaching a peace agreement. The authors to this thesis paper ask the question of why it became peace after such long time of war, but also if rational choice theory can explain this event. The answer to the first question is that the tsunami was the main reason to why it became peace. As to the second question, the conclusion would be that, depending on which view of human nature one has, rational choice theory can only answer the question if cultural, religious and emotional factors are disregarded.

Reporäntan och Sveriges banker : En eventstudie om reporäntan och dess förändringars påverkan på svenska bankers aktiekurser

Syfte: Uppsatsen syfte är att klargöra och analysera reporäntans ränteförändringars påverkan på aktiekurserna för samtliga svenska banker i large cap på Stockholmsbörsen.Metod: Kvantitativa händelsestudier har gjorts med deduktiv forskningsansats på fyra företag, samtliga noterade på Stockholmsbörsen. Den onormala avkastningen för de undersökta aktiekurserna har beräknats en dag före till en dag efter samtliga realiseringar av reporänteförändringar som skett mellan åren 2004 till 2015. Teori: Den teoretiska referensramen för studien består av den effektiva marknadshypotesen och överreaktionshypotesen.Slutsatser: Studien har påvisat att det råder signifikant samband mellan ränteförändringar och de studerade aktiernas avkastning vid realisering av ränteförändringarna..

Prisstrategier : En studie om dynamisk prissättning på Major events

Purpose: The purpose of this Bachelor is to analyze how the organizers of a Major event price their tickets and how these strategies consistent and differs from dynamic pricing. The study also aims to analyze whether there are conditions for dynamic pricing in Major events in the future.Theories: Dynamic pricing - Kimes model, Segmentation, price discrimination, variable ticket pricing.Method: The study used a triangulation where a qualitative interview was combined with quantitative data collection. Primary data was collected through a qualitative approach through an interview with General Secretary Tony Wiréhn and Marketing Director Malin Eldh in the local organization of the IIHF World Championship in Sweden. The quantitative data collection was to collect price information from the games played in the Swedish side of the World Championship organization arrangements.Conclusion: The conclusions that can be drawn are that the organizer of Ice Hockey World Championships today largely applies segmentation and also the second and third degree price discrimination. World Cup organization believes that it has something they call "semi-dynamic pricing", which according to this study involves a variable pricing with dynamic tendencies, then prices on some games adapted based on supply and demand during the sales period.

Hur reglerar statlig kulturpolitik folkbibliotekets evenemangsverksamhet? En undersökning av nationell kulturpolitik på två folkbibliotek i Sverige.

This Master thesis aims to study the relation between Swedish governmental cultural policy and cultural events at two Swedish public libraries. The Masters thesis demonstrates how national cultural policy regulates every part of the public library. This demonstration is a result based upon national cultural policy documents and interviews with employees at two public libraries in Sweden. The conclusion that national cultural policy regulates this part of the public library is drawn with help of the circle of culture as applied in Culture Studies and Michel Foucault theories of power. The thesis contains the answer of four questions, two involving cultural policy and the other two events at the library.

Upplevelsemarknadsföring: en kvalitativ studie av vilken generations upplevelseproduktion kommunikationsbyråer arbetar med

Ordet upplevelse används idag av många företag i olika branscher för att fylla sina tjänster med värde. Inom marknadskommunikation har byråerna börjat använda sig av upplevelsemarknadsföring för att tränga igenom mediebruset och tillgodose kunder och konsumenter. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur kommunikationsbyråer, som profilerar sig inom upplevelsebaserad marknadsföring, använder begreppet upplevelse och därigenom uppnå förståelse för vilken generations upplevelseproduktion de arbetar med. Jag utgår ifrån Bosjwijk, Peelen och Thijssen (2007), vars modell innebär att det finns tre generationer upplevelseproduktion, varav den första generationen, iscensättning, innebär att organisationen utformar upplevelsen för individen. I den andra generationen, samproduktion, utformar organisationen och individen upplevelsen tillsammans.

Utveckling av ett hjälpmedel för träning och utvärdering av förare av tunga fordon

The purpose of this master thesis is to evaluate how internal vehicle information inScania buses and trucks can be used for evaluation of driver performance regardingfuel economy, vehicle wear, traffic safety, emissions and cargo damage. To someextent it was examined whether this information could be used for training the driverto a better driving style. In addition, a prototype for such a system was developed.By first defining what distinguishes a talented driver and how he/she differs from apoor driver, followed by a study of the internal vehicle communication, a system thatin real-time gathers and interprets vehicle data could be developed.The resulting system can with reasonably high reliability detect a number of trafficevents (such as braking, lane changing or hilltops). At each such event, the driver?sbehaviour can be evaluated.

In 2003 the deciding political council in Bromölla municipality requested that an overhaul on the committee and public administration structure should be conducted. In the report Bromölla was characterized as a traditional organization with a low degree of change. This case study will examine why the organization previously has been reluctant to change its structure and why they are willing to do so now. In the pursuit of this objective I conducted document studies, interviews and observations. I have used theories on, institutional change and organizational culture to enlighten this.My findings shows that the traditionalists within the organization has greatly affected this reluctance towards change, in the deciding council 39 % of the representatives are 60 years or older.
