Denna studie handlar om att beskriva, diskutera och jämföra de olika argumenten som de två teocentriska filosoferna Michael Northcott och James Gustafson har om miljöfrågan. Studien fokuserar på vad de har för tankar om ursprunget till miljökrisen, vilken position mannen har i skapelsen, vad naturen har för värde och vilka konsekvenser deras ställningstagande har för lösningen till miljökrisen. Till sist undersöker studien vad de har för kritik mot samhället, vilken lösning de har för en fortsatt utveckling av samhället utan att ytterligare skada naturen..

Urban gardens can be a good example for cities how to avoid hunger and famine if they are properly managed.

This paper investigates the automatic stabilizer and the underlying factors behind its function. The paper includes both a literature review and an empirical analysis. The literature review discusses the IS-LM and Mundell-Fleming models and different ways to quantify the automatic stabilizer. Based on the theory, the relationship between volatility in GDP and the size of the automatic stabilizers is then analyzed with the help of regressions. Our main result shows a negative relation between these two variables.

Uppsatsen presenterar och analyserar hur Barentsregionen har utvecklats efterSovjetunionens fall, från början av 1990-talet till början på 2000-talet, och då explicit ur ettnorskt säkerhetspolitiskt perspektiv.Den har som utgångspunkt, för att analysera förhållandena i regionen, valt att studera hurdet formaliserade Barentssamarbetet med sin unika konstruktion har utvecklats och hur dethar påverkat relationerna mellan Norge och Ryssland. I undersökningen utnyttjas i förstahand det teoretiska perspektivet liberalism, för att fördjupa förståelsen för hurBarentssamarbetet kan ses som en framgångsfaktor för den ökade stabiliteten i regionen.Analysen visar att den traditionella geopolitiska kontexten om regionens marginalisering pågrund av den drastiska minskningen av tidigare så påtagliga yttre hot, inte kan stå somensam förklaring till regionens utveckling. En annan påverkande faktor är sannolikt denframgångsrika formaliseringen av Barentssamarbetet i Barents Euro-Arctic Region(BEAR), från början på 1990-talet och deras utveckling fram till idag, som har ökatinteraktionen mellan regionens befolkningar på alla nivåer och som med ett brettdeltagande har ökat förståelsen för de globala problemen och behovet av att överbryggavälfärdsgapet mellan väst och öst..

Bakgrund: Dagligen diskuteras utländsk makroekonomiska data i svensk media, där förväntningarna på utvecklingen av dessa sätts i sammanhang med utvecklingen på den svenska börsen.Syfte: Målet med den här studien var att utröna i hur stor utsträckning denna information kan anses vara betydande för en aktieinvesterare med kapital på den svenska börsen. Hänsyn togs även till börscykler samt varierande tidsperioder.Genomförande: Med grund i the Arbitrage Pricing Theory genomfördes multipla regressionsanalyser, med det svenska indexet OMXS30 som beroendevariabel. Undersökningarna baserades på månadsdata för perioden april 1991 till och med augusti 2006. Den makroekonomiska datan försköts därtill en period för att ta hänsyn till variablernas eventuella fördröja effekter på Stockholmsbörsen.Resultat: Integrationen mellan börserna visade sig ha ökat över tiden, med undantag för extraordinära perioder som IT-boomen, där makroekonomiska fundamentaldata istället slås ut. En positiv utvecklingen av långräntan samt konsumentförtroendet i USA tyder på en samtida börsuppgång i Sverige.

The idea of this study was to critically examine and account for the result found in scientific articles from databases. The aim of this literature review was to investi-gate how nurses can encounter a bereaved person in a crisis situation. Also the encounter of a person at risk of losing someone. Additionally, we investigated if the nursing staff fulfilled these needs. This literature review foremost addresses registered nurses.

Due to increasing regulations regarding new diesel vehicles particulate matteremissions the new Scania truck, Scania Euro 6, has been equipped with a particulatefilter. This component effectively stores the particles in the exhaust gas but must becleaned in order to prevent itself from clogging. The filter is cleaned through aprocess named regeneration which is a thermodynamic process in which thetemperature of the filter is raised through fuel supplied to the exhaust gas.The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the development of improved controlstrategies of the temperature during the regeneration process through thedevelopment of model-based controllers. These controllers are designed in order tohave good performance in stationary as well as automatic regeneration.In order to develop these model-based controllers a model of the system isconstructed. The model is described as a linear thermodynamic grey-box model withflow varying parameters, showing good results in validation.The model provides a simulation environment during the controller design, which isfocused around the development of linear regulators with the exhaust gas mass flowas a scheduling variable whose size determines controllers? mode of operation.

The thesis explores an ongoing dialectical process between different levels of employees including top management to workers of Scandinavian Airline Service (SAS) regarding a new change program and to find out the possible social construction among them. In particular, it searches for the constructed reality of SAS ground service employees at Malmö Airport with regard to the preparatory stage of SAS Strategy 2011. A possible ambiguity in dialectical process is explored as it relates to an organization?s ability to effectively influence the understanding and identity of its employees through discourse.

Introduktion: Förlossningssituationen är ett prioriterat område när det gäller patientsäkerhet, där fel kan få stora konsekvenser. Jönköpings län har svaga resultat när det gäller dödfödda barn och barn med låga APGAR poäng (en bedömning av barnets vitalitet). Vid urakuta kejsarsnitt finns det minst två patienter och oftast en partner. Medarbetare från tre kliniker med olika fokus ska samarbeta i en miljö där flera inte har sin ordinarie arbetsplats. Tvärprofessionell teamträning kan vara en möjlighet för att öka patientsäkerheten. Syftet med förbättringsarbetet var att förbättra medarbetarnas förmåga att hantera urakut kejsarsnitt, samt att testa användbarheten av simulerad tvärprofessionell teamträning. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vårdpersonalens samtal om förbättringar efter tvärprofessionell teamträning.

The consumption levels in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway have been rising fo r the last decade. Even after the financial crisis of 2008, consumption levels continued their upward trend, regardless of the recession. The explanation seems to be, at least partly, that households tends to increase their debt ratio in order to continue the same standard of living as before in terms of consumption. It is clear, based of our results, that there is a connection between increased consumption and debt ratio for households. And the consequences of allowing loans to finance a sustained or increasing consumption may ultimately be difficult to manage.

Most people with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed in a late stage of the disease.

Instead of using one?way communications that has been significant for traditional massmarketing, social media has given corporations the possibility to truly interact with their clients and through the interaction build strong relationships. The interaction is an ideal process for corporations to create brand associations and strengthen their brand equity to position their brands in the minds of the consumers. But social media is also a devious medium because everyone are invited to contribute their opinion and news travel fast in social atmosphere, success and crisis can appear fast and out ofnowhere.

Today there are preschools that are not able to work actively to explore the children's abilities because the large number of children and not enough teachers. Therefore I want to find out with my research how the educators would react when there is a crisis with the youngest children, the toddlers. I also want to find out different ways of acting in everyday situations at the preschool and why the teachers act in that way. I have relied on qualitative methods and I have used the critical incident method in my study.
