Corporations meet complex challenges as they operate on a global market. Global multidimensional problems are referred to wicked problems and which cannot be solved only managed. In this case, of certified palm oil, palm oil production can be seen as a wicked problem due to deforestation of rainforest, land grabbing and social conflicts. There are also conflicts regarding the value and interest of palm oil. This thesis investigates the Swedish transformation for certified palm oil and how actors in the Swedish food market address this transformation to have certified palm oil in their production. The aim of this thesis is to explain enabling factors to address the governance gap of ethical sourcing in the food industry.

Uppsatsen anlägger ett dilemmaperspektiv på specialpedagogik samt är skriven utifrån sociokulturell teori. Svensklärare respektive matematiklärare med specialpedagogisk erfarenhet intervjuas på två olika skolor.  Syftet med intervjuerna är att öka kunskapen om vilka metoder eller positiva påverkansfaktorer som några pedagoger på högstadiet framhåller när det gäller att utveckla elevers läsförståelse inom matematikämnet sett ur ett dilemmaperspektiv.Undersökningen resulterade i att ett antal dilemman, samt metoder för att överbrygga dessa, kunde identifierades i analysverktygets tre nivåer. Dels i den sociala kontexten som innefattar arbetsformer, men också när det gäller elevens kognitiva processer och den matematiska uppgiftstexten.Ett dilemma som alla respondenterna uppmärksammade var dilemmat mellan att tillgodose gruppens behov kontra individens behov av stöd för att kunna nå kunskapsmålen. Pedagogernas metoder för att överbrygga aktuella dilemman redovisas och kopplas till forskning på respektive område.Resultatet går inte att generalisera på grund av undersökningens ringa omfattning, men det pekade tydligt på att dilemmaperspektivet har ett starkt berättigande utifrån pedagogernas uppfattningar samt att pedagogerna har en uppsättning metoder för att förhålla sig till aktuella dilemman vilket också exemplifieras i diskussionsdelen..

Revisorn står inför ett fundamentalt dilemma, där oberoende måste prioriteras under revisionen samtidigt som konsulttjänster utgör en viktig inkomstkälla och kräver en god relation till klienten. Detta dilemma kan vara extra problematiskt i små bolag eftersom risken för socialt beroende antas vara större när färre individer är involverade. Syftet med studien är att skapa förståelse för hur revisorer resonerar kring gränsen mellan rådgivning och revision i små bolag. För att uppnå syftet med studien har sju revisorer intervjuats och materialet har studerats utifrån social identitetsteori. Resultaten indikerar att revisorer för små bolag har stark identifikation med klienten, vilket kan göra att deras oberoende riskerar att nedprioriteras till förmån för klientens behov.

BACKGROUND: A telephone nurse is a nurse that during most of its working time is engaged in healthcare advice via the telephone. The advent of the telephone healthcare advice has probably meant that individuals, who initially wouldn?t have sought help, if they needed to meet healthcare providers face to face, now actually have the confidence to turn to healthcare. For telephone healthcare advice is professional care to identify, assess and advise on individuals? reactions to actual or potential health problems.

Palliative care is a care that focuses on providing end of life care but not to delay or hasten death. Despite training, nurses often show a lack of knowledge in attitude, ethics and healthcare issues of palliative care. The nurse in palliative care has a central role in caring of the dying patient and therefore a big responsibility. However, palliative care is a low priority in basic training. The aim of this study is to investigate the roles of nurses in palliative care and if there is a need for increased education in the subject.

This study has its background in the debate about religion and the existence of God, which has been an ongoing issue throughout the Western cultural tradition. Today´s information society has been an impact on the increasing interest for this subject. The essay?s main task is to accomplish a rhetorical analysis of two books, Illusionen om Gud (2008) by atheist Richard Dawkins and Guds dödgrävare (2010) by Christian John Lennox, in order to investigate the authors? use of rhetorical strategies to influence their audience. The texts are studied using a qualitative approach with the theoretical basis of some well-defined rhetorical variables: ethical, logical and pathetic means of persuasion, propaganda, and the important factor that a message always is presented in a certain context in which the recipients both have their own values and subjects to general truths and common frames of reference.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka och beskriva gymnasieelevers syn på läxans betydelse i gym-nasieskolan med fokus på läxans hantering och dess värde. Studien har gjorts utifrån en kvalitativ ansats. Datainsamlingsmetoden som har valts till studien är intervjuer med åtta elever som går på gymnasienivå. Analysen i studien har gjorts utifrån Denscombes principer. Bland annat används i studien Vygotskijs teori, Coopers forskning om läxans effekt samt Coopers och Österlinds definit-ion av läxan.

The purpose of this study has been to examine a few Swedish advertisment producers opinions on the subject of viral advertising and especially the ethical aspects of hidden viral advertising. The specified purpose of this paper is to:To clarify the underlying reasons for the use of viral advertising.To clarify the advertising producers ethical views on hidden viral advertising.The essay is based on a qualitive research metod of an abductive nature where the empirical data is derived from interviews with three advertisment producers. Through a stratified selection method we contacted agencies that in one way or another uses digital solutions as an advertisment method. All interviews were conducted via the digital chat room Skype, one of the interviews were conducted with both picture and sound and the other two with audio-only.The following points are the essential conclusions of our study:Hidden viral advertising is seen as a rare promotional method in Sweden today, however, the viral-spread effect is more commonly used.The economic factors together with the spreading capacity of the viral advertising is contributing to one of the biggest reasons behind the use of viral advertising. In addition to these, viral advertising is seen as an effective way to stand out from traditional advertising.Viral advertising where the sender is hidden or unclear is always seen as unethical.

Debate over Intellectual Property Rights ?IPRs? particularly patent and copyrights is mainly on forward-looking industries in computer software. As part of a trade deal reached in 1994, the member nations of the World Trade Organisation must adhere to a global agreement known as TRIPS, for the Trade- Related Aspect of Intellectual Property Rights.This study is to analyse the ethical conception of Intellectual Property Rights and in particular its implications on the developing countries in relation to TRIPS. The approach will be to analyse a broad philosophical theories of property to see if there is any justification for a software program to be treated as private property and also argue base on John Rawls two principles of justice in relation to TRIPS Agreement. Some reflections will be put on the use of open-source software by less developing countries.From the study it was asserted that, strong IPRs protection would hinder technological transfer and indigenous learning activities in the early stage of industrialisation when learning takes place through reverse engineering.

This study is mainly critical-theoretic and explores the theoretic jungle of the concept of intersectionality with the use of Post-colonial and Feminist theories. The purpose of the thesis is also to investigate the concept of intersectionality further by looking upon its practical use as theoretic tool. This is performed in a discourse analysis of two programs developed by Swedish Liberal Party autumn of 2005. Another purpose is to discuss the multiculturalist dilemma as well as the phenomenon of a hegemonic western Feminism. One conclusion of this thesis is that the use of intersectionality is not unproblematic.

The purpose of this study is to improve our understanding of how immigrant children become included in some preschools. With immigrant children we meant those children who immigrated to Sweden. In order to achieve our purpose we have chosen to find out some educators' perceptions about inclusion and which strategies they use to include immigrant children.To realize the study purpose, we have chosen to use qualitative interviews as a method. We conducted interviews with sex educators who worked in two preschools. The empirical materials we got from the interviews formed the basis for our analysis.The analysis of our collected data was based on our theories and conceptions.

The end of the 20th century brought a dramatic change to the music industry. The then predominant models for music consumption and sales were forever altered when the possibility to distribute music over the internet emerged. It has now become evident that it is virtually impossible to stop the distribution of digital music files. Music has turned into a non-excludable and non-rival product, which in economic terms is described as a public good. Public goods theory serves as a starting point for this study, which explores some of the factors that might explain why some consumers pay for music, while others choose to download music illegally.

I vardagligt tal används ofta etik och moral som synonyma begrepp men det handlar egentligen om olika saker. Man använder begreppet moral när man syftar på grundläggande åsikter ifråga om vad som är rätt eller fel. Moralen yttrar sig t.ex. i form av tal där man uttrycker vad man anser vara rätt eller fel i någon viss fråga.
