Every plan and program decided on by an authority or municipality, where the environmental impact can be considerable, must be environmentally assessed according to Environmental Code, the Planning and Building Act (PBA) and the Regulation on Environmental Impact Assessment.The purpose of this study is to examine the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for The Region Development Plan for the Stockholm Region, RUFS 2010. The plan was approved by at that time the Regional Planning Office (Regionplanekontoret), which procured the process by consultants. RUFS 2010 includes two merged plans ie. a regional Development Plan (RUP) and the Regional Spatial Plan for Stockholm. It was necessary to establish an environmental assessment of RUP, but not for the regional plan.

Audiological rehabilitation is a complex process and can involve medical, educational, psychological, social and technical proceedings. The audiologist's part in this process is essential. The purpose of the study was twofold: to describe the audiologist's working process and to explore patient records written by audiologists according to structure, content and comprehensiveness. Method. Out of rules and regulations, code of ethics and literature concerning audiological rehabilitation from the audiologist's point of view, a model for the audiologist's working process was developed.

Globaliseringen har lett till att företag i allt större utsträckning sourcar sin produktion till aktörer i utvecklingsländer där arbetsförhållanden enligt västerländsk standard är oacceptabla. Skandaler inom mänskliga rättigheter och miljöutsläpp är skadliga för företagens rykte. Detta är något de aktivt måste jobba med för att motverka och i detta avseende är kinesiska textilfabriker en stor riskgrupp. Syftet med rapporten är att utreda hur företag kan arbeta för att skydda sig mot ordrägliga arbetsförhållandne i sina fabriker samt hur de kan förbättra arbetsförhållanden i dessa.

Skandaler i näringslivet har blivit allt vanligare. I vissa fall har revisorer figurerat i dessa skandaler, vilket har medfört att förtroendet för revisorsprofessionen har minskat. Åtgärder har vidtagits genom bland annat nya regelverk och vissa företag har även skapat sina egna etiska koder. Det räcker dock inte att ett företag har en etisk kod utan det är viktigt att den etiska koden även efterlevs. Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur en revisionsbyrå arbetar för att den etiska koden ska efterlevas.

Lagen (1988:870) om vård av missbrukare i vissa fall (LVM) är en tvångsvårdslag och är den enda lagen som avviker från frivillighetsprincipen i socialtjänstlagen, vilket ger socialsekreterarna möjligheten att gå emot individens fria vilja. Studien syftar till att belysa de faktorer som kan bidra till vilka svårigheter socialsekreterare kan ställas inför i relation till LVM-lagstiftningen, individens rättssäkerhet och självbestämmanderätt. Syftet är också att problematisera socialsekreterarnas tillvägagångssätt gällande tillämpningen av LVM-lagstiftningen och om mål och syfte uppfylls. De teoretiska utgångspunkter som används för att kunna analysera det empiriska materialet är teorier om socialsekreterarnas handlingsutrymme och etiska dilemman som kan uppstå i relation till klienten samt teorier om makt och motivation. För att samla in det empiriska materialet användes semistrukturerade intervjuer med olika socialsekreterare, därmed fångades socialsekreterarnas egna erfarenheter upp kring arbetet med LVM i praktiken.

Efter en lång medial debatt gällande bonus och ersättning till bankpersonal har Swedbank stoppat sina bonusutbetalningar och börjat ett förändringsarbete beträffande sitt ersättningssystem. Under samma period beslutade sig banken för att se över alla sina policys och processer. Denna studie har sin utgångspunkt i detta förändringsarbete med fokus på Swedbanks HR-policys och på hur ledningen arbetar och tänker kring skapandet och implementeringen av nya policys. Är detta förändringsarbete på Swedbank en effekt av det mediala pådraget och ett sätt att säkerställa organisationens legitimitet?Institutionella myter skapas av omgivningen och definierar vad som anses vara effektivt och rationellt i samhället och organisationer.

This essay addresses and treats the employer's obligation to work adaptation for people with a physical disability according to discrimination law and the work environment law. Furthermore it also treats the employer's obligation to rehabilitation of employees that has a reduced working ability as consequence of their work. The essay also intends to investigate if there are any differences in the employer?s obligation to work adaptation when recruiting and the employer?s obligation to work adaption for an existing employment. In this work, there is a background chapter which describes the UN and the European Union's approach to work reduction ability and disability. Furthermore, there is a detailed description of the work environment law, the discrimination law, the social insurance code and the employment protection legislation.

Today there are over 100 000 stray cats in Sweden and of these 10 000 are found in Gothenburg. There are several instances that try to reduce the number of stray cats. The problem for stray cats is primarily the suffering they may face in hunger, cold, predators, diseases, parasites, accidents, etc. The cats receive no veterinary care and may die from a simple infection that easily can be cured with antibiotics. Stray cats also can spread diseases to domestic cats, be a sanitary problem and compete with other small predators on prey. Authorities working with stray cats are the Country Administrative Board and the police authority.

Inledning: Bolagsskandaler runt om i världen har bidragit till ett strängare sätt att reglera hur bolagen styrs. Enron och WorldCom är två nordamerikanska bolag som varit bidragande orsak till den amerikanska lagstiftningen Sarbanes Oxley Act, SOX, vilken reglerar bolagsstyrningen i USA. Efter detta har den moderna världen valt attinföra någon sorts normbildning kring ämnet bolagsstyrning. Sverige har följt utvecklingen genom att under 2005 införa Svensk kod för bolagsstyrning på börsbolag med ett börsvärde över 3 miljarder kronor. Under andra halvåret 2008 kommer Koden att utvidgas för att omfatta ett större antal börsnoterade bolag i Sverige med börsvärden under 3 miljarder kronor.Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka vad representanter för de bolag som ej ännu omfattas av Svensk kod för bolagsstyrning samt vad revisorer anser om planerna på att införa Koden för börsnoterade bolag med ett börsvärde under tre miljarder svenska kronor.

This thesis of 15 hp has been implemented at Halmstad University, in collaboration with Saab Dynamics in Linköping. Saab Dynamics is a company operating in the defence industry where competition is tough. This necessitates new ways to increase efficiency in the company, which is the basis for this thesis. Saab Dynamics wants to introduce simulation driven design. Since Saab Dynamics engineers have little experience of simulation, required a user methodology with clear guidelines.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskorna har en central roll i samarbetet kring vårdandet i livets slutskede. Det etiska har stor betydelse i detta sammanhang. Maktlöshet, osäkerhet och otydlighet skapade etiska konflikter i vården generellt i samband med kommunikation, relationer och samarbete. Här beskrivs vad vård i livets slutskede innefattar, sjuksköterskans roll, etik i vårdandet och vad etiska svårigheter är.Syfte: Denna översikts syfte var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av etiskt svåra situationer inom vård i livets slutskede.Metod: Studien är en allmän litteraturöversikt som syftar till att skapa en översikt över det nuvarande kunskapsläget inom ämnet. Översikten bygger på elva artiklar, som har granskats och analyserats kritiskt.
