Syftet med examensarbetet är att få en bild av huruvida det är möjligt att använda sig av anime som undervisningsmaterial rörande etik och moral. Med hjälp av filmer och en enkätundersökning har detta genomförts. Sammanfattningsvis pekar resultatet på att eleverna verkligen får tillfälle och möjlighet att med hjälp av anime reflektera över etiska och existentiella frågor..

The aim of the study was to investigate whether the phenomenon of internet drugs should be considered as a moral panic or as a real danger. We have mainly focused on how society perceives young people's use of these drugs. The study is based on a qualitative approach and we have used structured interviews. The interviews were conducted with three different categories of professionals who in different ways have contact with parts of our study in their professional capacity. These are: officials, commentators, and researchers.

This paper is about Soren Aabye Kierkegaards (1813-1855) philosophy regarding the relation between the aesthetic and the ethic stage. The result of the essay is a modification of the aesthetic problem. The suggestion is to convert part of Kierkegaard?s metaphysical claims into an epistemic approach. An epistemic approach means to hold a position of well grounded stipulative beliefs.

What drove me to write this paper is the will to  examine if there is a philosophically and scientifically viable  alternative foundation for an objective morality other than what we like to refer to as "God". The  American philosopher and neuroscientist Sam Harris presents in his book The Moral Landscape a thesis for an objective morality based on science in which he states that  science can determine human values. The purpose of this paper is to perform a theoretical trial of The Moral Landscape, examining Harris' thesis and it's relations to the philosophical obstacles that stands in its way, these being mainly the famous philosophical principle "Hume's Law" and G.E. Moore's "Naturalistic Fallacy and Open Question Argument" and thus will serve as my main theoretical foundation. The results of my study was not conclusive since Harris in fact doesn't succeed in bridging the gap between facts and values on a scientific ground.

The neo-classical conception of the market place does not provide a framework to account for ethical or moral action. As a result, the neo-classical model is unable to explain the impact of ethical and moral issues on business sustainability present in the modern economy. To address this limitation, this thesis investigates whether theories of ethics can help explain the motivations and actions of stakeholders within the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition, the thesis explores whether theories of ethics are presented differently within aspects of the stakeholder model. Semi - structured interviews were conducted with various stakeholders within the CSR sector, including a NGO, a commercial firm and a CSR consultancy firm.

In this modern period, societal and religious groups are strongly divided regarding the acceptability of abortion. Despite so many attempts by various groups to find a middle ground, the debate on abortion still remains largely polarized, at its most dramatic point with the extreme conservatives claiming abortion to be the moral equivalent of murder and the extreme liberals see it as devoid of moral import. And this polarization is due to the legal battle that continues to shadow moral discussions. An acceptance of an ethical nuance will here play as a concession on the deeply contested question of whether abortion should be a legally protected option for a woman, and to an extent blame for the continued crudeness which can be laid at the doorstep of a moral theory itself. Apparently, the ethical literature on abortion has focused almost exclusively on the tiniest moral assessment on whether and when abortion is morally permissible.

I denna uppsats undersöks hur moral hazard påverkas i grupplån vid frånvaro av sociala band, övervakning, och kontinuerliga krediter. Undersökningen förklarar grupplån i teori men presenterar även empiriskt material från andra författares artiklar. During the last years, the moral and ethics in companies has been a growing subject in media. Large multinational companies are to a bigger extent using workforce in developing countries and the working conditions at the workplaces in those countries, are more or less controlled. Even if a company carefully controls its own business, it can be using subcontractors that for instance use child labour or forced labour, or in some other way makes human rights abuses. When the world gets more globalized and the market where the companies act gets bigger, there will be new issues for companies to handle. The companies have to satisfy not only the interests of the costumers and the shareholders, but also the environment around it, containing many different stakeholders.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka seniorsfotbollsspelares personliga egenskaper, motiv till idrottsdeltagande och moral i idrotten gällande regelöverträdelser, fair play och sportspersonship. Vidare studerades eventuella skillnader mellan spelare på elitnivå och spelare på lägre nivå och mellan män och kvinnor gällande undersöknings-områdena, personliga egenskaper, motiv och moral i idrotten. Dessutom studerades eventuella interaktionseffekter. Avslutningsvis studerades samband mellan de olika områdena. Totalt deltog 150 fotbollsspelare varav 67 var män och 83 var kvinnor.

Den här uppsatsen undersöker om IMF, genom sitt agerande under den finansiella krisen i Indonesien 1997-1998 gav upphov till moral hazard. Sammanfattning I det här arbetet har syftet varit att undersöka vilka delar det går att upptäcka inom de olika världsreligionerna att använda inom momentet etik och moral i skolans undervisning. Undersökningen har skett utifrån vad gymnasiets kursplan i religionskunskap uttrycker om momentet samt vad läroplanen nämner om ett etiskt förhållningssätt. För att uppnå syftet har en innehållsanalys av läromedel gjorts och därmed en analys av hur de olika världsreligionerna presenterar begrepp som etik/moral och livsfrågor. Detta har medfört en sammanställning av ett eventuellt material att använda inom religionsundervisningen med utgångspunkt i etik och moral. Metoden som använts är en innehållsanalys av både kvantitativ och kvalitativ art.

The purpose of this paper has been to reach a greater understanding in how moral inflicts social workers way of handling everyday situations. In what way, if in any way, moral comes to play a part in the making of decisions. In order to reach this understanding we have interviewed two different groups of social workers which we also later on came to compare . One of the groups contained six interviewees and the other group contained five interviewees. Both of these groups were in the ages between 27 ? 52.To shed some light over this phenomenon did we use two theoretical perspectives, first Kant?s morale theory and second, consequentialistic utilitarism theory.As a result from the interviews we?ve made, we came to an understanding that the meaning of morale and in what way it can be applied in the everyday work differs between these two professional groups.

The aim of this essay is to investigate the function and development of non-player characters (NPC) in the TV/computer game Dragon Age: Origins. The NPCs are analysed in order to see if their development is affected by the player character?s (PC) background and interactions. The game?s ethics is also investigated by studying how the NPCs treat the PC and what significance they give to his background and actions.The results show that the NPCs are affected by the PC?s interactions, and furthermore, that they are round characters, which is unusual in TV/computer games.

Arbetet omfattar en studie i värdegrundsarbetet i skolan. Vi har tittat på vad lärare anser ingå i arbetet med värdegrunden och vad de anser om sin egen etikundervisning. Med hjälp av frågeställningar vill vi få reda på huvudsyftet, nämligen att ta reda på hur olika lärare arbetar och resonerar kring värdegrundsarbetet i år 4 ? 6, för att kunna känna igen och förstå etiska situationer i klassrummet. Våra frågeställningar är följande: Vad anser lärare ingå i området etik och moral? Vilka etiska situationer kan man finna i klassrummet? Vad anser läraren om sin egen etikundervisning? Studien är byggd på fem lärarintervjuer och klassrumsobservationer i grundskolan år 4- 6.
