Det finns ett gap mellan tanke och handling i mindre organisationer. Omedvetenhet om den egna verksamheten har lett till att både lyckad och misslyckad organisering getts missvisande förklaringar. Studiens syfte är därför att utveckla kunskap om och förståelse för organiseringsprocesser i mindre organisationer och specifikt i popband. Forskningsdesignen är en longitudinell fallstudie av ett popband. Metodologin har inspirerats av etnografi och har en abduktiv ansats.

There have previously been very few studies of forests on Seram Island in the Eastern Indonesian archipelago and none before on lowland limestone primary forests. The COLUPSIA project on collaborative land use planning has therefore chosen Seram as one of two project sites. The objective of the COLUPSIA project is to establish collaborative and equitable land use planning. In order to achieve its objective the COLUPSIA project aims to improve understanding of traditional resource management and how it interacts with governmental systems, as well as enhancing knowledge about tropical landscapes and ecosystem services.The aim of this study was to contribute to the COLUPSIA project through describing lowland limestone forest on Seram Island in respect to (1) forest structure, (2) tree species richness and (3) tree species composition. We set up 5 plots, each of 0.2 ha, at one site, Mawalai, and collected data on tree variables (tree diameter ?10 cm) as well as for some other life forms and environmental data.

Den här fallstudien behandlar rollbildning i en specifik ensemble utifrån givna rollfunktioner. Våra informanter i ensemblen har utgjorts av en grupp folkhögskolestudenter. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ forskningsmetod i form av observationer. Bearbetningen av de inspelade observationerna har skett genom en transkribering och analys av denna. De viktigaste slutsatserna i vårt arbete har varit att det går att identifiera roller utifrån våra givna rollfunktioner och att det går urskilja ett mönster i rolltagandet.

Under vårterminen 2014 har jag omarrangerat rocklåtar till så kallade ?udda taktarter?. Meddet menas att jag har tagit en låt och bytt taktart från fyrafjärdedelstakt till en taktart manvanligtvis inte stöter på så ofta inom genrerna pop och rock. Jag har även analyserat pop- ochrockmusik som redan har udda taktarter för att få inspiration. Jag har intresserat mig för hurdet ?udda? uppstår och hur man kan motverka eller förstärka det.

 Målet med detta arbete är att undersöka smörjsystemet på två utsatta leder på en Boomer E2C. Förfrågan om examensarbetet kommer från Atlas Copco Rock Drills AB i Örebro som också tillverkar maskinen.Atlas Copco Rock Drills AB har idag ett fettsmörjningssystem som upprätthåller funktionerna på lederna. Uppgiften är att sammanfatta och utvärdera dagens system samt att finna nya lösningsförslag som skulle kunna ersätta eller delvis ersätta systemet. Information har hämtats från dokumentation, ritningar och samtal med konstruktörer på företaget. Efter att alla förutsättningarna för lederna specificerats så har lösningsförslag sökts.

Metabolic diseases in dairy cows are considered to increase the risk for claw lesions, most of all laminitis, sole haemorrhages and sole ulcers, but also to increase the risk for environmental claw lesions. The aim of this study was to compare claw health in 27 Swedish dairy farms, 18 with high incidence of metabolic diseases and 9 with low incidence. Data on claw health status was retrieved from recordings at routine claw trimmings and analysed on herd level regarding the prevalence of: any lesion, interdigital dermatitis, heel-horn erosion, sole haemorrhages, sole ulcer, lameness, abnormal claw shape, and other diseases (abscess in the white line, limb disorders, double sole, laminitic groove, white line disease, interdigital phlegmon, interdigital hyperplasia, toe abscess and verucose dermatitis). Mean prevalence of any lesion for herds with low incidence of metabolic diseases was 48 % and in herds with high incidence 41 %, and there was no statistical difference between the two groups. The essay is based on a qualitative approach where six interviewshave been performed with people in various positions in the Swedish music industry. The interviewees have been selected after their knowledge and experience within thefield.

This report discusses the development of an autonomous system that can travel a distance of atleast 30 meters on two wheels. The system, the robot, detects black lines and stops if one isdetected. A remote control can be used to start and stop the robot. The robot is constructed ofmainly steel with smaller, more detailed, parts in plastic. A significant amout of time has beenused to enable the robot to balance on its own.

Obesity is a growing global health problem among both humans and cats with the risk of several medical conditions as a result. This can be detected and prevented by body condition assessment methods in order to visualize and detect possible or potential weight problems in cats.To achieve the best results, owner and cat should be introduced to this as soon as possible in their contact with veterinary care.Purina Body Condition System and Walthams Feline Body Mass Index are both morphometric assessment methods that are quick, relatively cheap and simple to perform. 20 cats with owners and a veterinary nurse student participated in a study to compare pet owners and a veterinary nurse student's assessment of the Purina Body Condition System and WALTHAM's Feline Body Mass Index. The body condition assessment methods were compared with each other, and it was investigated which method was preferred, the body condition distribution among the studied cats and if long-haired cats' body condition was more often misjudged. Results of the study showed a significant difference between pet owners and the veterinary nurse student's assessment of Purina BCS with a difference in median of 1.

Abstract This degree project examines how much carbon dioxide that emits during the construction phase of a road project. This is to make it possible to compare how the amount of carbon dioxide differentiates between traditional road construction and Swepave construction, which is PEAB?s alternative way to design roads. To make the comparison a calculation tool has been produced. To compare the amount of carbon dioxide emissions a reference project was needed.

A detailed dam safety evaluation (in Sweden called FDU) was performed in 2009 by WSP where stability control was performed for Långströmmen power plant with associated spillways. This evaluation concluded that stability could not be ensured, and risk of sliding occurred. The evaluation is based entirely on the recommendations outlined in RIDAS, the power companies guidelines for dam safety, and it is clear that extensive renovations are necessary to stabilize the dam.In this work, the stability will also be checked with guidance through new proposals on guidelines for concrete dams sliding stability, ELFORSK?s report 08:59. This report considered the guidelines in RIDAS as oversimplified, both from an international perspective, but also with regard to the current state of knowledge regarding dam safety.

This work is a part of the project ?Våtmarker i odlingslandskapet ? uppföljning av miljömålen? (Wetlands in arable land ? following-up of the environmental goals). The main objective with this project is to study nitrogen and phosphorus retention in a constructed wetland by using mass balance calculations. Continuous measurements of nutrients and water flow through the inlet and the outlet of the wetland are made. However, substantial amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus were assumed to reach the wetland with a drain-pipe transporting wastewater from nearby houses (10 persons).

Från inköpsperspektivet är majoriteten av leverantörerna svenska men de dyraste komponenterna köps in från utlandet. Detta gör att stora krav ställs på både logistiken och produktionssystemet. De senaste årens ökande efterfrågan har lett till att materialförsörjningen har svårt att hantera de volymer som krävs och till följd uppstår störningar. En effektivisering och kapacitetsökning är nödvändig och därför kommer detta examensarbete att handla om kartläggning av material- och informationsflöde samt bristidentifiering av störningar i materialflödet.

Their ambition to broaden the market horizon has led to a discussion about also selling vehicle simulation solutions, both for military and civilian use.The aim of this thesis is to investigate the driver?s experiences of the accelerations he or she is exposed to whilst driving in rough terrain. The results may be used as a basis for future decisions and can act as a platform for the construction of an effective simulation model.To investigate the driver?s exposure of acceleration, some kind of dynamic simulation is needed.
