Den gröna naturens betydelse för människans hälsa har länge diskuterats. I dagens samhälle bor allt fler människor i städer med en begränsad kontakt med naturen. Genom att låta personer med höga stressnivåer tillbringa tid antingen i en skogs- eller en hantverksmiljö, och därefter besvara enkäter om sinnesstämning samt upplevelser av miljön, undersöktes miljöernas påverkan på deltagarna. Både den gröna skogsmiljön och hantverkslokalens inomhusmiljö gjorde deltagarna mer avspända, piggare, gladare, mer harmomiska, lugnare och mer klartänkta efter besöket jämfört med före. Dock utmärkte sig skogen genom att den gjorde deltagarna signifikant gladare efter besöket och lugnare även före besöken över tid.

Denna studie undersöker hur människor engagerar sig med och på elektroniska sociala nätverk (OSN). Syftet var att undersöka på vilket sätt som personligheten påverkar hur vi använder OSN. Data från sextio deltagare insamlades genom ett webb-baserat formulär baserat på femfaktormodellen (?Big Five?) och instrumentet Big Five Inventory. Deltagarnas aktivitet på Facebook uppskattades genom frågor utformade för denna studie.

In today's preschool teachers should strive for us to have an inclusive preschool regardless of background, knowledge, culture. The conditions that everyone should have the right to education. Therefore the purpose of this study to enhance the understanding of the informants' views and thoughts regarding the inclusion of children with special needs. My study focused generally on children with special needs, but not against any particular diagnosis or a particular area related to children with special needs. To get answers to my questions I used qualitative interviews.

The purpose of our study is to examine whether stress among social workers is present, and ifso, what strategies they and their supervisors use to manage work-related stress. The study isbased on a qualitative method. The data consist of interviews, with six social workers andthree supervisors. The study?s theoretical framework is based on KASAM, SOC-sense ofcoherence by Antonovsky, demand- control- support model by Karasek & Theorell, stresstheory by Hans Selye and coping strategies by Lazarus.

Detta gav underlag för analys och diskussion. Samtliga informanter var överens om att kommunikation borde vara en röd tråd i förskolans verksamhet och har en stor betydelse för barns lärande. Pedagogerna ville se och höra varje barn och utgå från deras tankar och funderingar enligt Vygotskijs proximala utvecklingszon. Informanterna ville ge barnen goda förutsättningar för en bra lärandemiljö.

Individuell lönesättning är idag det dominerande lönesystemet både inom privat och offentlig sektor. Trots det är dess effekt relativt outforskad. En allmän föreställning är att det är ett motiverande och effektiviserande lönesystem. Uppsatsen utforskar hur individuell lönesättning fungerar som motivation för individen, om motivationen påverkas av att individen arbetar i ett gruppsammanhang, samt huruvida kvinnors upplevelse av systemet färgas av jämställdhetsdebatten. De tio intervjudeltagarna kom från en kommunal och en privat verksamhet.Resultaten visar att systemet upplevs som motiverande, men att även andra faktorer i arbetet motiverar och ibland är viktigare.

The theme of this essay is literacy training in pre-school. The theme takes it starting point in a project, where my colleagues and I noticed our children playing with writing and symbols. It leads to an exciting, reflecting and developing project, a project that will go on for six months together with twenty children in the age of five and six.The essay describes how I and the rest of the staff work with the project, and also how we try to find challenges that are meaningful for our children. When we worked with the project I ended up in a dilemma how I as a teacher was to retain the children?s joy and curiosity for writing without making it boring.

Results from previous studies have showed that people with depression has an impaired verbal fluency. The aim of this study was to investigate whether individuals with depression also generate more words containing negative valence. Controlled Oral Word Association test were administered to a group of 13 mildly depressed individuals and a group of 20 non depressed individuals. The fluency and valence of the words produced was analyzed.The results showed no significant differences between the groups regarding either verbal fluency or negative valence. However, a significant positive relationship was found between a negative mood and negative valence.

The decisions for investment are forward-looking and the base of a long-term strategy. The research within investment have focused on diverse formulas which are used in financial assessment, which also should be complemented with qualitative evaluation. Consequently, the focus should not only be on the execution of the formulas. Less time have been spent on research concerning what actually initiates the investment proposals and affects the decision-making. This will be highlighted in this essay.

Det är lagstadgat att arbetsgivaren är skyldig att bedriva ett systematiskt arbetsmiljöarbete (SAM) för att sänka riskerna för ohälsa och olycksfall i verksamheten. Mycket tyder på att detta inte fungerar tillfredställande i många skolor. Denna fallstudie syftar till att kartlägga och synliggöra hur det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet organiserats i två utvalda kommunala grundskolor. Det övergripande syftet i studien var att belysa faktorer och mekanismer som kan motverka ett lyckat införande av ett fungerande arbetsmiljöarbete. De frågeställningar vi haft var om kommunernas organisering av arbetsmiljöarbetet uppfyller lagstiftningens krav och hur uppföljningen och kontrollen sker. Studien har genomförts genom analys av kommunernas styrdokument samt genom en enkät kombinerad med uppföljande intervjuer av nyckelpersoner i verksamheterna. Resultat visar att de båda grundskolornas arbetsmiljöarbete organiserats och bedrivs på ett likartat sätt och att arbetsmiljöproblemen till stor del är likartade.

AbstractOur world is facing new challenges depending on the climate changes. The UN panel of climate changes has determined that the human race is responsible for the changes, but also that we have the opportunity to reduce the effects. This demands that the information reaches out to the public which means that the school system carries major responsibility to this type of questions. This also means that the teachers have to be observant, and give the questions the attention which is needed. The purpose of this essay is to see if this awareness exists today among active teachers and teacher students and if the perspective differs among them, but also their opinions is in agreement with the course plan in the subject.

What psychologial processes are activated in experiencing mourning after a loss of a belovedperson? The Swedish Armed Forces is a public institution and consequently obliged to follow Swedish and international legislation. Thus, they are subjected to contrarious demands from different actors operating in its high-technological and high-institutional environment: to be a legitimate institution and at the same time operate with a high level of efficiency. This thesis is conducted with the aim of investigating whether The Swedish Armed Forces' steering document for gender equality is used to achieve visible and quantifiable results or if the document constitute a medium for reverberating legitimacy. To answer the research question, we applied a critical discourse analysis on the relevant documents and on the conducted semi-constructed interviews with members from different levels and positions in the organizational hierarchy. Subsequently, we came to the conclusion that the Swedish Armed Forces manage the demands for efficiency and legitimacy, which are forced upon them from the technological and institutional environment, by talking about them.

This thesis puts together general guidelines for the design of outdoor environment at nursing homes for people with dementia. The goal is to give the residents a greater quality of life with the garden.The garden must be safe and secure while offering places for fellowship or retirement and experiences of joy and competence. The plant material and other elements in the garden are inserted to stimulate the senses and to inspire to different activities. The paper describes the health promoting effects of nature and gardens by referring to scientific studies. These studies encompass the impact of nature on all human beings as well as how the outdoor environment affects our target group, elderly people with dementia. An essential part of the work focus on the conditions in a garden for people with dementia, on the contact between residence and garden and the access to surrounding life. Eventually, the general guidelines are applied to a real building project ? the Vega project in Lomma,a new nursing home for persons with dementia.

Violence and more seriously unprovoked violence has become a major problem for many service corporations as it gives them bad image and reputation. Corporate Social Responsibility CSR encourages many companies to engage in social activities as they realize that the company is part of the society and the environment. What affects society may sooner or later affect the corporate. For any business to prosper and create a long-term relationship with its customers, it needs a safe environment both for the customers and staff.Feedback from customers and staff is survival and these two (customer and staff) are the most vital assets any firm could have.
