This essay criticizes common theories within the three traditional perspectives, conflict management, conflict resolution and conflict transformation, for not being able to explain and/or generate solutions to the problems of fundamentalism and religious terrorism in a satisfying manner. This essay is trying to synthesize an alternative analytical framework that better can explaining these phenomena and generate potential solutions. The frameworks ontological ground is laid out using different readings of Foucault, thereby seeing the subject as formed by discourses, material processes and institutions. Fundamentalism and terrorism are seen as a violent resistance to repressed subjectivity, but the form of resistance depends on the discursive and non discursive surroundings. This gives rise to different forms of resistance; the production of discourses and founding of groups and the entry of marginalized people in these groups.

The purpose of this thesis is to bring insight into and understanding of how the market for emission rights in Europe currently works and what problems it is currently facing. The research can be said to be based on positive theory, in the sense that it is grounded more on empirical theory on the subject than normative theory. Furthermore, a qualitative approach to generating data has been used. This has led to a pattern mode of explanation, where understanding a unique and complex field is the focus. The theoretical perspective utilized in this thesis is mainly based on empirical research on similar market-based systems for emission control.

Syftet med denna uppsats ämnar att beskriva svenska modeföretags internationaliseringsprocess. Därför ska vi undersöka och analysera nätverkets betydelse, barriärers påverkan, val av etableringsstrategier och varumärkesbyggnad vid internationalisering. För att uppnå syftet med vår studie har nedanstående huvudproblem formulerats: Hur går svenska modeföretag tillväga vid etablering och varumärkesbyggnad på den internationella marknaden? Uppsatsens teoretiska utgångspunkt innefattar svenska modeföretags etablering på den internationella marknaden vilket berör internationaliseringsprocessen, nätverksperspektiv, barriärer, etableringsstrategier samt varumärkesbyggnad. Studien utgår från en kvalitativ forskningsmetod med en deduktiv ansats där fyra fallstudier har tillämpats.

Idag finns det ett stort antal företag på den svenska marknaden som tillverkar och säljerprofilkläder för vården.Utbudet från dessa företag är slående lika varandra och det finns ett begränsat utbud vadgäller färger och modeller.Inom den privata vårdomsorgen har man mer resurser och därmed större möjligheter att skapaen unik arbetsmiljö. En modern och stilren arbetsklädsel tillför mycket till denna atmosfär ochutbudet av profilkläder borde därav breddas.Genom att redogöra för olika ekologiska material samt de grundläggande egenskaperna enligtvilken man skapar ett material av lämplig kvalitet lägger vi grunden för skapandet av enklädsel som tillför en känsla av exklusivitet och unikhet.Lägg därefter till en skapandeprocess av två prototyper av en överdel samt en nederdel somett alternativ till dagens modeller. The objective of this work was to evaluate and implement a number of energy saving functions for a specific embedded system. The functions were then grouped into a number of energy levels with known properties in terms of functionality, energy consumption, and transition time between the levels.The embedded system consisted of an AT91 ARM9 processor, GSM/GPRS modem, display, Ethernet and other peripheral units. Some energy saving methods that were considered were suspend to RAM, suspend to disk, frequency scaling, and methods for saving energy in the modem, Ethernet, USB and display backlight. The functions were grouped into levels and an interface was specified for controlling the energy level.It proved possible to get known properties within the defined energy levels, even though the paritioning of functions into these levels proved to be sub-optimal in a typical application usage scenario because it was designed for mainly energy consumption, not usage.The final result is a number of energy saving functions grouped into levels, which are controllable via an application interface. Each of the levels have a known energy consumption in both loaded and un-loaded mode..

Transport is an important aspect to take account in efforts to achieve sustainable tourism development. If we do not change our behavior regarding travel, the consequences will be significant for the environment. This study examines the various transport operators on the two Swedish ski resorts if their websites and marketing are different from each other in the mode selection. The destinations are Åre and Hemavan Tärnaby. They studied modes are two Swedish airlines, two train companies, three bus companies and three taxi companies.These corporate websites are studied with a content analysis in which the results of the keywords that have been developed are scored according to different categories.

Denna uppsats är en intervjustudie som omfattar sex utvalda muslimska kvinnor där jag valt att undersöka hur dessa kvinnor ser på muslimska baddräkter. Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda huruvida dessa kvinnor uppfattar olika typer av muslimska baddräkter och även redogöra för vilka skiljaktigheter det finns mellan dessa kvinnors åsikter och vad dessa skillnader kan bero på. För att få fram olika representationer vad gäller dessa kvinnors tolkningar, kommer jag att använda mig av begreppet flerstämmighet för att lyfta fram olikheterna med hänsyn till de olika tolkningarna som finns inom en religiös grupp. Detta är för att diversiteten som finns inom den egna gruppen ska tydliggöras. Min teoretiska utgångspunkt är Olivier Roys post-globala teori som jag anser vara relevant för det valda temat.

This thesis aims to analyse the problems concerning the reorganization of the Swedish consulary system, which took place right after the Swedish entry in the European Union in 1995. This thesis shows the underlying debate in the Parliament before the changes. It also discusses which factors caused the reorganisation. My work focuses on the Swedish consulary representation in Spain which exist of an embassy in Madrid and 20 underlying honorary consulates. The consulates are not foreign authorities but are still handeling a lot of cases as an govenmental authority.

As scholars argue, there has been a rapid diffusion of civic integration policies in Western Europe the last decade. In the light of the debate about the extent of civic integration policies, recent studies have shown that the diffusion is limited to certain countries. Despite a flurry of literature based on civic integration policies, attention drawn to the implication of these policies has been quite inferior. This paper tries to examine what civic integration policies means in relation to immigration. Are civic integration policies used as an informal tool for the purpose of limiting certain groups of immigrants? I argue in this paper that the conditional factor in the civic integration policies creates a barrier for affected immigrants and their possibilities to gain long term residence.

 Den här uppsatsen har skrivits i samband med ett examensarbete som jag gjorde på Shortfuse, ett företag under bildning i Gothia Science Park vid Högskolan i Skövde. Det som jag har gjort under examensarbetet var att ändra vissa befintliga spellägen och att designa helt nya spellägen till fightingspelet Colosseum. Målsättningen är att utveckla nya spellägen utan att lägga till eller ändra på befintlig spelmekanik.Resultatet av arbetet ledde till en lösning på hur målsättningen kan uppfyllas, nämligen genom att kombinera befintlig spelmekanik på nya sätt. Men jag kom fram till att det ändå inte går att designa något nytt utan att ändra på spelmekaniken åtminstone lite grann. Slutsatsen är att den positiva inverkan en idé skulle ha på spelet måste övervägas mot hur mycket det kostar i form av tid och pengar.Dessutom ledde arbetet till beskrivningar av tre olika metoder för att komma på nya idéer.

Balanserat styrkort (BSC) introducerades 1992 av Kaplan och Norton. Det mäter företags prestation ut fyra perspektiv och används för att överstätta eller länka strategin till mätbara mål. Vidare nämns att budgeten är på väg att bli mindre anförtrodd i företag och problem med den. BSC är vanligt förkommande i Sverige, det gäller större företag likväl som offentligverksamhet. Att undersöka huruvida BSC fortfarande är av intresse grundas av efter en jämförelse med budgetering.

Vi har valt att undersöka second handklädesmarknaden. På senare tid har intresset för andra handskläder ökat markant. Det finns två huvudsakliga aktörer på marknaden. De består av biståndsorganisationer som syftar till välgörande ändamål, samt de second handbutiker som har som mål att bevara gamla moden. I och med en ökad efterfrågan har marknaden utvecklats rejält.
