The annual cost of home care services of transport in Falun/Borlänge, is now at 31 million kronor. It is clear from previous research that it is possible to reduce these costs through a restructuring of the existing home-help service. The restructuring aims to have a higher proportion of older people, who are in need of care, to live in special accommodation, in order to reduce transport costs. Therefore there is a need for systems that allow home-help service to plan their operations in such a way that transport is working as efficiently as possible. Through better planning, there are profits to be done.

ABSTRACT: Introduction: There are intentions from the Swedish government to provide guidelines and tools for a healthy social planning. The field is in a Swedish context relatively unstudied regarding psychosocial health and the neighbourhood. Aim: The study aimed to examine how social planning can affect the health of individuals. The focus areas were contextual and compositional factors related to individuals' psychosocial health and the contextual risk- and health factors that exist in the neighbourhood. Method: A literature-based study was conducted and 15 scholarly articles form the basis for analyse.

In today's Sweden there are approximately 23 000 combination companies, and most of them have a connection with the agricultural sector. The most common type of additional operation is some form of contracting.The aim for this degree project is to answer the following question: which problems and key factors exists within combination operations? The main topic will be within coordination and management questions within agricultural companies with an additional operation.Litterateur written earlier within this subject will be used in this thesis. Mainly litterateur which contains information about combination companies and diversification of some sort. There are also other theories used in this thesis such as; resource based theory and decision making theory in order to understand the problems and key factors within combination companies.In order to investigate the aim of this thesis we have chosen to perform two qualitative interviews with the managers of two different combination companies.

Idag drabbas befolkningen i västvärlden allt oftare av livshotande sjukdomar som hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar, högt blodtryck, fetma, diabets typ 2 och benskörhet. Dessa sjukdomar kan härledas till att människan har anammat en allt mera stillasittande livsstil och en avsaknad av fysisk aktivitet. Samhället har utvecklats och moderniserats genom effektiv teknikutveckling som gjort att människan inte behöver anstränga sig fysiskt i lika stor utsträckning. Städerna har vuxit och blivit funktionsuppdelade och avstånden mellan städernas målpunkter har blivit längre. Det blir ofta bilen som förblir det självklara transportmedlet mellan dessa destinationer. Värdefulla grönytor som används för rekreation och en biologisk mångfald får allt oftare ge vika åt städernas frammarch och utbredning.

The purpose of the essay Multi criteria analysis of potential conflicts concerning land use planning - natural stone mining in Lysekil municipal is to study possibilities and limitations in GIS based multi criteria analysis as a tool for land use planning. How GIS based multi criteria analysis can be implemented to localize potential conflict areas between natural stone mining and other land use activities and what advantages and disadvantages the method holds are the main issues of this study. The essay studies these questions through a case study, concerning the geographical area of Lysekil municipal in western Sweden and problematizes the interest of natural stone mining in relation to other land use interests. A literature study was carried through, concerning multi criteria analysis and planning. After collecting and processing of data the multi criteria analysis could be implemented in the ArcGIS tool Weighted Sum.

I detta examensarbete analyseras ett förortsområde respektive den gamla stadskärnan i Vilnius, Litauens huvudstad. I arbetet framgår bland annat att tätheten i Gamla stan är ungefär dubbelt så hög som i de båda modernistiska förorterna Justini?k?s och Vir?uli?k?s. Vidare ger Jane Jacobs teorier ledtrådar till vad det är som gör vissa stadsmiljöer och parker mer attraktiva än andra. Bebyggelsens öppenhet och slutenhet analyseras med en ny metod, som grundar sig i en tredimensionell beräkning av hur många procent av himlen man ser från varje given punkt i ett geografiskt område. I examensarbetet presenteras en förtätningsstrategi som kan användas i förnyelsen av storskaliga modernistiska förorter både i Vilnius och internationellt.

Arbetes syfte är att resultera i ett planförslag för Pottholmen och svara på tre frågeställningar som behandlar översvämningsrisk, tillgången till offentliga och mer privata delar och möjligheten till ökad vattenkontakt. För att få en förståelse för Pottholmen har jag använt mig av metoden realistisk stadsanalys. Jag har även använt mig av Kevin Lynch begrepp för att kartera området. Interest deduction limitation rules have an important function as the regulations prevent the Swedish tax base to decrease. However, the restrictions must not be at the expense of the business environment. Interest deduction limitation rules that do not work in a satisfactory manner are likely to make Sweden a less favourable country to establish in. The first Swedish rules which were aimed to restrict interest deduction threaded into force in 2009. The rules were applicable to intercompany loans related to acquisitions of part ownership rights and the aim was to reduce tax avoidance through corporate group-loans. The rules proved to be ineffective since the avoidance continued and the Swedish rules could not tackle the problem.

This master?s thesis presents experiences from an evaluation of AdApt, a multi- modal, conversational dialogue system, using PARADISE, PARAdigm for Dialogue System Evaluation, a general framework for evaluation. The purpose of this master?s thesis was to assess PARADISE as an evaluation tool for such a system. An experimental study with 26 subjects was performed.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att jämföra olika system för att lagra spannmål på.Spannmål som skall blandas in i fodret till de värphöns som finns på gården där det system som jag finner är bäst skall sättas upp. Jämförelsen gäller dels helt olika system, silo tork kontra lufttät lagring och olika systeminom lufttät lagring. Jämförelsen har varit en mestadels ekonomisk jämförelse men jag har även gjort en liten teknisk jämförelse. För att få fram fakta som jag kunde basera min fallstudie på så jämförde jag fyra olika system mot varandra.Det som jämfördes var els två system med lufttät lagring, ett system med silo torkning och ett system med inköpt färdigtorkad spannmål. Jag gjorde olika investeringskalkyleroch fick fram den totala årskostnaden för varje system och dels kostnaden per kilo spannmål för varje system samt också vad foderkostnaderna blir.

Detta arbete berör kunskaper och frågor kring hur vi använder och har använt oss av landsbygden som bo- och arbetsplats, samt hur dess karaktär och gestaltning upplevs och påverkas av utveckling och ett förändrat användande. Genom ortsanalyser på två mindre landsbygdsorter i Karlskrona kommun registreras och karaktäriseras landsbygdens särdrag, upplevda kvalitéer och begränsningar. Inventering och analys sker genom ortsanalysmetoden Estetisk Byutformning, framtagen av Thomas Thiis-Evensen, samt genom samtal med boende där tankar och upplevelser sammanställs i en mental karta. Adekvat forskning, skriftliga källor, strategier och kommunala planer studeras och skapar tillsammans med analysresultaten en bas för framtida utveckling och gestaltning av landsbygdens bebyggelse. Utifrån insamlat material skapas riktlinjer för framtida komplettering av bebyggelse, dessa i form av utvecklingsprinciper med syfte att bevara och utveckla landsbygdens agrara karaktär. This thesis seeks to investigate the relationship between municipal policy for housing supply and the planning of new housing in Sweden. Through a case study of Göteborg municipality and a comparative content analysis of Göteborgs policy for housing supply and a number of plans featuring housing the analysis seeks to investigate the effect of policy for housing supply as a tool for securing the demand for housing in the Swedish municipalities. The thesis also seeks to discuss its findings using theory concerning the implementation of policy and the general planning situation for Swedish municipalities today. The result of the analysis shows that most plans fail to regulate most of the content suggested in the policy for housing supply, particularly regarding aspects such as pricing, type of housing and type of ownership. The result also points towards a relationship regarding the prevalence of municipal land contracts and compatibility to policy for housing supply as well as a connection between how extensive the plans are in their proposed land use and their compatibility with policy for housing supply.

The purpose with this thesis is to research what function the National Library Catalogue of Sweden (LIBRIS) has as an information resource for Chinese language material. How is LIBRIS used as an information resource seen from the point of view of a users specific language need. This will be exemplified through an empirical survey of three user groups with different prerequisites concerning their knowledge in Chinese. Group A were beginners and had studied Chinese for one year. Group B were advanced students who were studying their third year of Chinese.
