I vår studie hade vi som syfte att undersöka hur verksamma pedagoger arbetar för att skapa en god lärandemiljö för andraspråkselever. Studiens fokus ligger på att se hur lärare arbetar för andraspråkelevernas integration, språkutveckling och ämnesinlärning samt att undersöka om dessa arbetar utifrån någon vedertagen undervisningsmodell och således känner till forskning och pedagogik som främjar andraspråksinlärning . För att ta reda på hur pedagoger arbetar med andraspråkselever ute i skolverksamheten valde vi att utföra en intervjustudie där vi intervjuade sex verksamma ämneslärare som undervisar i klasser där andraspråkselever ingår. Vår studie visar att de intervjuade lärarna inte har formell kompetens för andraspråksundervisning då de inte arbetar utifrån någon vedertagen undervisningsmodell som är riktad mot andraspråksinlärare. Vi finner dock att flera av de intervjuade pedagogerna arbetar aktivt för andraspråkselevernas integration och språkutveckling genom diverse stödinsatser..

AbstractAs a developer of database-driven applications you will be faced with difficult choices, when it comes to choosing database, server and programming language. For the result to be satisfactory it requires the different techniques to interact well with each other and also fulfill performance expectations. This is even more important when the application is deployed to the cloud and the response time plays a major role.This paper evaluates different databases and their performance. To test the databases there was an application made in the server script language PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor and it was deployed to Windows Azure cloud platform. The test applications task is to call and load databases by controlled requests which creates, reads, updates and deletes data in an relatively large extent.The results shows that locale databases or databases in the same data center as the server generates the fastest response.

TitleFactors for success : a study of school libraries at compulsory schools and how to integrate them in the educationAbstractThis Master's thesis aims to identify success factors for the integration of school libraries in the education. The search for factors are concentrated to three areas: control documents for the school and school library, the Principal and organisation and the collaboration of librarians and teachers.The method consists of three parts: a documetary study, a questionnaire survey and interviews. The documentary study aimed to reveal how concrete control documents for schools and school libraries are concerning pupils' information literacy and school libraries. The questionnaire survey gave a general view of the situation of school libraries in Skåne and to help identify two suitable objects for closer examination. Gunnesboskolan and Rönnowskolan were chosen, and the principals, the school librarians and teachers representing different subjects were interviewed.Our results indicate that there are important factors in all three areas examined.

In the light of some company scandals the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance, the Code, was introduced in the year of 2004 to reinforce confidence in how Swedish listed companies are managed. As many of the other European codes of corporate governance, the Swedish Code is based on the principle of ?comply or explain?. The need for corporate governance regulation arises from the inherent conflict of interest between owners and managers. This conflict is limited in companies controlled by a family in contrast to companies that lack a strong owner.

This study has an integration policy direction as it focuses on the qualification for the new arrivals to quickly establish themselves in the labor market, and how the government's interventions, which in this case is the establishment reform, have affected municipalities and what its role is in this context. The purpose of the establishment reform is to faster the new arrivals integration in to the labor market. The aim of this study is to analyze the interaction factors that is affecting the integration of new arrivals into the labor market by study the professionals opinions on the interplay between involved organizations in two municipalities before and after the establishment reform. Studies have shown that the establishment reform has not achieved its goal and the purpose is to analyze the aspects behind this problem. The results of the study were analyzed with help of the interaction theory and the new institutional theory which is a part of the organization theory. An important aspect in the results of our study is the deficiency with the interaction between the participating organizations that obstruct the new arrivals path to becoming self-contained. In order to identify the problem, the study focuses on the co-operation among two communities in Sweden with the new arrivals way into the labor market.

The purpose of this thesis work is to create a prototype for an augmented reality application that isaimed to support service technician when performing service and maintenance of machines andengines. The prototype will be used for investigating what technical limitations there is and toestablish basic usability for the user interface. The method that is used is user studies and analysis toevaluate use cases and user stories. An iterative work process is then applied for design and theprototype is continuously user tested.The resulting prototype uses a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 running on Android operating system. Theframework used for augmented reality is NyARToolkit which handles marker recognition andconnections to Android.

Mobilapplikationer till de datorliknande mobiltelefonerna kallade Smartphones är i dagsläget en expanderande marknad. Att utveckla en bra mobilapplikation ställer dock höga krav på utvecklaren. I den här rapporten genomförs en litteraturstudie för att ta fram en Utvecklingsprocess för utveckling av en business-to-businessinriktad mobilapplikation. Syftet med Utvecklingsprocessen är att den ska kunna användas som ett hjälpmedel under utvecklandet. Processen riktar sig framförallt till studenter och företag som inte har någon erfarenhet av att utveckla business-to-businessinriktade mobilapplikationer.Denna process tillämpas sedan praktiskt genom att ta fram en idé till en applikation.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka om vi med olika övningar och lekar kunde öka barns självförtroende att tala inför grupp genom en integration mellan ämnena idrott och svenska. Undersökningen genomfördes i år 5 i Luleå kommun under en sjuveckorsperiod. Eleverna fick i övningarna och lekarna träning i att exponera sig inför grupp. En tanke från oss när vi valde ut övningarna till undersöknngen var att de skulle kännas roliga och engagerande för att få en positiv effekt. Resultatet erhöll vi genom att dela ut en enkät i början och slutet av vår praktikperiod, samt genom iakttagelser i form av våra personliga loggböcker.

This investigation aimed to shed light on the terms of the dispensing and the retaining of municipal social benefits granted by Swedish social services, this in regard of a less visible societal subgroup; citizens who cannot attain or retain housing of their own.Through qualitative interviews with six municipal social workers in Skåne, the plight of these citizens is revealed from a policy-making perspective in respect of views on discretion and individual appreciation. How may the applicant impact the application process and how does social subletting operate as a service effort?Further analysis of the accounts of informants? views on change and the reasons for change, sketched an image of a society where public acceptance and tolerance are crucial factors for citizens hoping to achieve a homestead through means of municipal intervention.In conclusion, flexible attitudes towards job description are of major import to the possibility of offering client support in under-staffed municipal environs. Furthermore, reflexive social workers allying with the applicant throughout the process, from application to intervention are decisive for efficacious, long-term social work..

Under Swedish tax law; the general clause in the Tax Avoidance Act is a method to prevent tax evasion. The purpose of the general clause is to prevent any tax avoidance procedures that the legislator has not been able to foresee. For the general clause to be applicable, four prerequisites need to be met. This thesis analyses the fourth prerequisite based on the principle of legality. The prerequisite concludes that a determination of the tax base, based on the procedure in question, is in conflict with the purpose of the legislation.

Detta arbete är en intervjustudie med lärare och funktionshindrade elever på högstadiet samt gymnasiet. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om och i så fall hur lärarna anpassar sin undervisning till förmån för integration av elever med fysiska funktionshinder. Ett ytterligare syfte är att undersöka hur de fysiskt funktionshindrade eleverna upplever sin situation i klassen och hur väl de anser att dessa anpassningar, om de existerar, fungerar. Jag har personligen intervjuat lärare och funktionshindrade elever för att få höra deras personliga erfarenheter och åsikter i frågan. Detta för att få en så tydlig bild som möjligt av deras situation.

The healing process of human bone can be aided by the presence of differentmaterials. A material that is transformed into bone when in contact with bone iscalled a boneconductive material. This report is a study of existing boneconductivematerials on the market to see if there is a material available that would be suitable totest on larger fractures. The wanted application is to be able to heal fractures up to50 mm which is a fracture too big for the body to heal on its own.The healing process of human bone can be aided by the presence of differentmaterials.

This piece of work develops a solution that automates protection against software keystroke loggers. Keystroke loggers can be used illegally to register a user's keystrokes and in that way acquire sensitive information. The solution was tested on two different networks and the efficiency was measured. The network represents an enterprise network that uses the operating system Windows along with the directory service Active Directory. A script was developed to solve the automation matter.

I dagens allt mer komplexa företagsklimat har vikten av en integrerad Supply Chain blivit allt viktigare vilket bidragit till ökat behov av integrationen inom och mellan företag. För ökad integration inom Supply Chain kan automatiserad informationsdelning användas och ett vanligt förekommande informationsdelningssystem är Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) som integrerar två företagspartners affärssystem med varandra. Den automatiska informationsdelningen bidrar bland annat till reducerad manuell administrering, minskade transaktionskostnader och mer korrekt informationsdelning mellan företag. Medelstora företag har en avgörande och viktig funktion inom dagens ekonomi, inte minst på grund av de arbetstillfällen medelstora företag genererar utan även deras betydelse för företagsutvecklingen inom Sverige. Vi har funnit medelstora företag intressanta att undersöka på grund av deras betydelse inom samhället och har i denna studie undersökt på vilka grunder svenska medelstora tillverkningsföretag inom B2B väljer att implementera EDI för ökad integration inom Supply Chain.

Denna studie syftar till att integrera lämpliga funktioner och koncept typiska för sociala nätverkssidor i ett kommunikationsverktyg med avsikt att förenkla och stödja kommunikation mellan kollegor i team och projekt.  Designprocessen bestod av tre faser. I fas ett avgjordes genom en Pugh-matris vilka funktioner och koncept som hade störst potential för integration. I fas två integrerades dessa i en digital prototyp av det redan existerande kommunikationsverktyget Briteback. I fas tre identifierades användbarhetsproblem hos den framtagna prototypen.
