Uppsatsens syfte var att belysa och analysera ideologiska samt vetenskapsbaserade aspekter kring den kontroversiella metadonbehandlingen, för att öka förståelsen för dagens pågående debatt. Uppsatsens frågeställningar var:· Hur har utformningen av och debatten kring metadonbehandlingen sett ut från 1960-talet och fram till 2000-talet?· Hur kan denna utformning och debatt förstås?För att uppnå syftet och besvara frågeställningarna har texter av olika slag studerats, veten-skapliga avhandlingar, facklitteratur, texter framställda av olika myndigheter och tidningsar-tiklar, av vilka sedan valda delar har analyserats och diskuterats utifrån en ideánalytisk ideal-typisk indelning. Debatten kring metadonbehandlingen har studerats ur ett tidsperspektiv, i ett försök att täcka svensk narkotikapolitisk utveckling i relation till metadonbehandlingen mel-lan åren 1960-2005. Litteraturstudiens resultat visade bland annat att svensk narkotikapolitik under perioden utvecklats i en alltmer restriktiv och repressiv riktning, medan utvecklingen av substitutionsbehandling med metadon för opiatmissbrukare tenderar ha lett till allt färre restriktioner och en ökande tillgänglighet för brukarna.

The aim of this paper is to illuminate and discuss the political and ideological aspects of Early Medieval Nordic music. Due to shortage of sources, this issue has been overlooked until now. Did Early Medieval Nordic music meet the requirements for political and ideological use? In what ways could music potentially be used politically and ideologically? Was music used as a political and ideological tool? This is examined by a contextual analysis combining music history and historical archaeology. The survey consists of a background account, focusing on the potential of music and some requests for political use, and three case studies, where musical reflections of societal tensions is investigated in folk music lyrics, Icelandic sagas and church art.

Medicinsk turism har ökat med åren genom att fler och fler resebyråer har specialiserat sig inom medicinsk turism.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the politics and activities of the Social Democratic students´ association Spartakus. Their relationships and political and ideological differences towards the Swedish Social Democratic Party (SAP) and the remaining parts of the Social Democratic youth organisation (SSU) in Linköping during 1969-1971 are examined. To fulfil this aim I have studied relevant literature and interviewed people who were active in Spartakus, as well as people from SSU and SAP in the municipal during the period. I have also studied written material produced by the students´ association itself during the period. The theoretical frame of reference consists of Dahl´s theory on a democratic political order, and party theories like the mass party theory of Duverger, theories from Sjöblom, Panebianco, Lipset and Tingsten and also Gidlund&Möller´s theory about different kinds of party members.

The main researchquestion is:?Did the Swedish Moderate party and the Swedish Social Democratic partyideologically position themselves closer in the year of 2002 than they did in 2010within the health care policy area?The research design chosen for this study can be labelled as a comparative case study wherethe two political parties party programs and election manifestos that were current in the yearof 2002 and 2010 are studied. This is done to give a better view of ideological change.

AbstractPurpose/Aim: To study how Piratbyrån argues for a free distribution of information and culture products and to find a possible ideological explanation for their argumentation.Method/Material: I have used a rhetorical analysis to study and describe Piratbyrån´s website, a website that promotes free distribution of information and culture products. I have done so to find out how Piratbyrån argues for a free distribution and to find out what ideological foundation their argumentation is based on.Main results: The main results of the study show that Piratbyrån uses a variety of rhetorical techniques depending on the subject and purpose of the analyzed text. Their main arguments both promote their own thesis and argue against the copyright industry. The main part of the argumentation is based on logical and factual arguments, but parts of it also rely on an emotional appeal to the reader?s heart in order to persuade.

Denna studie har visat att journalister har en stark yrkesidentitet som är nära sammankopplad med idealen. De har påpekat vikten av ideal som berättande av komplicerade skeenden och granskning, och även problematiserat dem. Respondenterna tenderar även att knyta samman kring idealen vid påfrestningar från PR-kupper. Realtionen mellan journalister och PR-aktörer är komplicerad, vilket även kan utläsas i denna uppsats genom de åsikter journalisterna uttrycker om fenomenet PR-kupp. Respondenterna med flera yrkesverksamma år beskrev sig som trygga i sin situation även om PR-kuppen ifrågasätter en del av idealen medan de med färre år beskrev en större osäkerhet och rent av en rädsla för att misslyckas genom att ha publicerat en osanning.

The empirical material of this study consisted of tweets by four leading politicians in Sweden: Carl Bildt of Nya Moderaterna, Annie Lo?o?f of Centerpartiet, A?sa Romson of Miljo?partiet and Jonas Sjo?stedt of Va?nsterpartiet. The aim of the study was to examine how they use Twitter as a political tool and what that says of the mediatization of politics. What content did they publish, how did the content differentiate between them and what political messages and other subjects occurred in their tweets? Does the political debate become fragmented because they?re only allowed to use 140 characters on Twitter? The theoretical framework and method applied for the research was based upon critical discourse analysis (CDA), with special interest in ideology and mediatized discourse.The result of the study showed that the content they published consisted mostly of criticism towards political opponents, rather than of independent political opinions.

Bakgrund: Telekomindustrin har på senare tiden genomgått en period av strukturella förändringar. Dessa strukturella förändringar har bland annat medfört fusioner och sammanslagningar av företag inom branschen. Fusioner har en inverkan på en rad olika faktorer för företag och samhällen. Att kommunicera med media är viktigt då ett företag genomgår en fusion. Syfte: Syftet med denna magisteruppsats är att öka förståelsen för företags kommunikation under en fusion samt hur media reproducerar fusionen.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur receptionen av The New Look såg ut i svenska mode- och damtidskrifter åren 1947-1948, med syftet att se om denna centrala modehändelse lämnat några spår i den svenska samtida modejournalistiken, samt hur den i så fall mottogs och tolkades. Metoden är en receptionshistorisk, tematiskt upplagd textanalys. Undersökningen visar att de svenska modeskribenterna rapporterade om The New Look mellan våren 1947 till hösten 1948, i första hand under den svenska termen ?den nya linjen?. Resultatet visar att detta efterkrigstidsmode snarare sågs som ett allmänt parismode och sattes i samband med flera av Paris modeskapare, varav Christian Dior sågs som en av de främsta ? detta skiljer sig något från bilden av The New Look internationellt, i den traditionella modehistoriska litteraturen.

The cultural policy area has a tendency to be seen as a consensus area, where there are no big conflicts between the parties. The aim of this master?s thesis is to study the moderate party?s cultural motion 2005/06Kr:233 with the party leader Fredrik Reinfeldt as first author. If consensus rules, the party?s ideology should not be visible in the motion, but the assumption in the thesis is that it is visible.

The main purpose of this analytic study which has a theoretical focus, Is to find out if the two Swedish parties Socialdemokraterna (s) - The Social Democrats - and Folkpartiet (p) - The Liberal Party - has taken position ideologically or strategically to the new sex-degree grading scale. The theory section describes the concepts of ideology and strategy. Despite the talk of the death of the ideologies, this don't need to be the case, they only adjust över time. The second key-point of this essay is strategy, a model based on Frostbergs reasoning illustrates this. A number of problem areas are presented.

Denna uppsats intresserar sig för den tidigmoderna människans interaktion och kommunikation med centralmakten. Utgångspunkten är att lokalsamhällets föreställningar om centralmakten skapades i lokala möten med denna. Ett sådant möte var den indelta krigsmaktens marscher i frihetstidens Sverige. Denna uppsats syftar till att analysera dessa marscher såsom kommunikativa och ideologiladdade ritualer där marschens estetik, disciplin och symbolik gjorde centralmakten konkret och greppbar för lokalsamhällets människor.Jag argumenterar för att marschen bör förstås som en kommunikativ arena där centralmakten och lokalsamhället interagerade inom ramen för ett föreställt samhällskontrakt. Denna symboliska interaktion visade på att centralmakten och lokalsamhället delade många föreställningar och hade mycket att vinna på ömsesidighet och förhandling.

Media society is developing rapidly; the media?s more central role in our society means that their interpretations and portrayals of the world will have a greater impact on how we look at ourselves and our society.When Swedish Princess Estelle was born in February 2012 she was the first Swedish heir to be been born in what is known as ?the computer age?. This paper aims to examine the reporting of the birth of Princess Estelle and how it was conducted by Swedish news sites, from an ideological perspective. The study is based on qualitative method with ideational analysis and Norman Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis.In conclusion, the news sites portray a positive image of Princess Estelle?s birth and the Swedish monarchy and strengthen the status of the Crown Princess family.

Hunting ground graves were distinguished as a separate category during the 1930s.         There is however no clear definition of what a hunting ground grave is. They have been constructed over a large area over a long period of time (200 BC-1200 AD) and their morphology varies.This paper investigates how the archaeologists have discussed the hunting ground graves since they were distinguished as a separate category until today. It investigates what concepts that have been used to define and categorize the graves as a group. It also investigates if the choices of concepts are depending on a broader societal perspective.To find the answers to these questions two surveys have been done.
