The main purpose of this study is to clarify the underlying reasons as to why people choose to travel by car or taxi, and to do so by using people´s choice of transportation to and from Arlanda Airport as an example. Furthermore it is also in our interest to see what changes are needed to make more travellers use the available public transportation.Because of the increasing pollution rate from the means of conveyance headed to and from Arlanda Airport, Luftfartsverket is attempting to decrease the amount of emission from the connecting transportation sources. Luftfartsverket has a pollution limit which is about to be reached in a few years, based on a prognosis made by Arlanda´s office of environmental issues. In order to investigate people´s travel mode choice a survey was conducted at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm. 82 travellers were interviewed on a three day basis inside terminal 4 and 5.

Sverige går idag mot en mer patientfokuserad vård. Personal Health Records (PHR) är en tjänst som möjliggör för patienten att samla och distribuera sin egen medicinska journal. Trots de patientfokuserade egenskaperna som PHR besitter är vetskapen om PHR liten i Sverige.Med syfte att undersöka PHR har vi utfört en studie som visar om PHR har en potential i Sverige. Nitton intervjuer utfördes varav sjutton stycken med diabetespatienter, en intervju med en representant för läkemedelsindustrin samt en intervju med en representant för sjukvården. Dessutom utfördes en patientenkät med diabetiker.Studien visade att PHR har en potential i Sverige, framförallt bland den viktigaste intressentgruppen patienterna fanns ett visst behov och upplevdes nyttan som stor.

Bakgrund: Trots att Sverige sedan 1938 har haft en semesterlagstiftning som berättigat alla svenska arbetare semester, har intresset för forskning kring semester varit relativt svalt. Först under de senaste 15-20 åren har intresset ökat något. Idag har vi i Sverige fem veckors semester. Semesterdrömmar och planering av semestern upptar mycket av många människors tid. Fenomenet semester har således stort inflytande på vår vardag och formar oss människor till viss del som individer och är därför även sociologiskt mycket intressant.Syfte: Att genom intervjuer undersöka ett antal svenska arbetstagares (och därmed också semestrares) uppfattningar och syn på semester i två olika generationer.Frågeställningar: Vad finns det för mönster när det gäller synen på semester och skiljer sig dessa åt i de båda åldersgrupperna?Vilka semesterideal förekommer och hur påverkar de semesterfiraren?Dagens samhälle är starkt knutet till konsumtion.

The aim of my master?s thesis has been to examine the situation of the price lists in the National Library of Sweden, in Uppsala University Library and in the Nordiska Museet Library. The starting point was that the institutes have been operating within different institutional practices. These operational differences between the institutes have affected the collecting, the organizing and the accessibility to the information of the price lists. My master?s thesis is based on Birger Hjørlands theories of domains and knowledge organization.

Denna undersökning behandlar vilka faktorer som påverkar multinationella tillverkande företag när de väljer att placera kontrollen över sin internationella fysiska distribution (IPD) hos moderbolaget eller det utländska dotterbolaget.Undersökningen är genomförd hos sju elektroniktillverkande företag i Stockholmsområdet. Datainsamlingen har främst skett genom kvalitativa intervjuer med utvalda personer anställda på företagen, samt via elektroniska källor som tillhandahölls av företagen.Undersökningen syftar till att analysera faktorer som påverkar multinationella företag när de väljer placering av kontrollen över den internationella fysiska distributionen.Analysen visar på att de faktorer som i störst utsträckning påverkar multinationella företag vid detta beslut är deras egen omsättning samt erfarenhet av att vara ett multinationellt företag.Slutsatsen för denna undersökning blir följaktligen att ett multinationellt företag väljer placering av kontrollen beroende på vilken fas företaget befinner sig i. Dessa faser identifieras i denna undersökning som Traditionell centralisering, Effektiv decentralisering och Hållbar centralisering..

För att kunna tillgodose turismindustrins strävan efter tillväxt, utan att äventyra morgondagens resenärers möjlighet att resa, är det av stor vikt att massturismbranschen anammar en hållbar utveckling. Researrangören kan ta sitt ansvar för detta genom att implementera en hållbarhetsstrategi. Frågan är vilka svårigheter eller begränsningar en researrangör möter och vilka förutsättningar och möjligheter som finns för att dessa riktlinjer ska kunna realiseras i researrangörens verksamhet på en destination. Syftet med denna uppsats är att ur ett ledningsperspektiv identifiera och analysera kritiska punkter vid implementerandet av hållbarhetsstrategier för researrangörer.Vår undersökning visar att det finns kritiska områden för researrangörens implementerande av en hållbarhetsstrategi inom områdena miljö & kultur, samarbete och information & kommunikation. Vissa beror på Apollos verksamhetsutformning, andra beror på massturismens karaktär och en del är kopplade till förhållanden och förutsättningar på destinationen Gran Canaria..

The intention with this essay is to investigate how the narration of the South Korean film Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (Park Chan-wook, 2002) relates to the Hollywood pictures of today. An important change which David Bordwell pays attention to is an intensifying of former stylistic paradigms in what he denominates as intensified continuity. That said, Bordwell and Kristin Thompson are in agreement on that the new films still are predominantly classical. The neoformalistic standpoint which Thompson and Bordwell use appears however to contain some problematic implications.

Detta arbete har jämfört penningpolitiken som bedrevs i Japan under 90-talet och början av 00-talet med den situation som Sverige stod inför i början av 2015. Syftet var att klargöra i fall Sveriges riksbank hade något att lära från situationen i Japan och utreda om Sverige befann sig i en likviditetsfälla. Arbetet har haft en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi med makroekonomisk inriktning och använt sig av en komparativ forskningsdesign. Data samlades in genom en litteraturstudie. Avgränsningar till att endast behandla penningpolitiken irespektive land gjordes samt att fokusera på BNP, ränta och inflation.
