Bakgrund: Cancer är idag en av de vanligaste sjukdomarna i svenska samhället och klassas som en folksjukdom. Cirka 800 unga vuxna i Sverige drabbas varje år, skelettumörer, maligna lymfom och leukemi är de allra vanligaste cancerformerna hos ungdomar idag. För många unga vuxna med cancer är det till hjälp att få dela med sig sina upplevelser via bloggar för att lättare kunna hantera sin sjukdom. Att ta del av sjukdomsbloggar kan även hjälpa vården gällande förståelse och bemötande av unga vuxna med cancer. Syfte: Att utifrån bloggar beskriva individers upplevelse av att ha cancer som ung vuxen, samt att beskriva vilken betydelse bloggen har för individerna.

Syfte: Att undersöka förekomst av hyperopi i förhållande till läskunnighet hos hjälpsökande hos VFA i Bolivia, samt jämföra med studier från andra delar av världen.Metod: Studien utfördes i april 2010 på tre olika orter i centrala Bolivia. Patienterna sökte själva upp platsen för att få en undersökning. Subjektiv refraktion utfördes binokulärt, utan dimning, med hjälp av provbåge, provlåda och syntavla med Snellen E, uppsatt på 5 meters avstånd. Hyperopi räknades som sfärisk ekvivalent ? +1,00 D, myopi som ? ?0,25 DS.Resultat: 1 313 personer undersöktes, varav 1 271, mellan 6 och 92 år gamla, ingick i studien.

Syftet med studien var att belysa unga komvux studerandes syn på sin nuvarande karriär och framtida karriärmöjligheter. Urvalet bestod av ungdomar mellan 20-24 år som studerade heltid minst fem kurser på ett komvux inom Stockholms län. Metoden som tillämpades var kvalitativ i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Utgångspunkten var att ge en inblick i individens inre värld med fokus på vilka inre faktorer som spelar in vid karriärvalsprocessen. Resultaten visar att ungdomarnas främsta mål är att höja sina gymnasiebetyg för att ta sig in på olika yrkesinriktade högskoleutbildningar.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att granska Tove Janssons bilderböcker Hur gick det sen? Boken om Mymlan, Mumintrollet och lilla My (1952), Vem ska trösta knyttet?(1960) och Den farliga resan (1977) utifrån ett livsåskådningsperspektiv. Jag vill med detta påvisa att böckerna har flera bottnar och att man kan se och läsa dem som annat än bara bilderböcker för barn. Jag anser också att alla de tre böckerna är sammanlänkande tematiskt,som variationer på samma tema ? livsvandringen, själens inre resa.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka nyanlända SFI-elevers karriärdrömmar i Sverige, vilka de är och hur de uppnås i Sverige. Vidare är syftet att undersöka vilka möjligheter och begräsningar det finns för att uppnå dessa. Frågor som ställs är vilka uppfattningar om karriärdrömmar de nyanlända SFI-eleverna har i Sverige, samt vilka möjligheter och begränsningar det finns för att uppnå dessa i Sverige. För att undersöka detta har vi använts oss av den narrativa livsberättelsemetoden, och utfört intervjuer med sex nyanlända SFI-elever. Studiens teoretiska utgångspunkter är Hodkinson och Sparkes teori om Carrership, och Abdelmalek Sayad?s teori om att ?varje invandrare är en utvandrare?.

Syfte - Denna uppsats syftar till att ta del av de tankar kring den personli-ga säkerheten personer som arbetar i utlandet å arbetsgivarens vägnar har. Detta för att dels redogöra för vad de anser att arbets-givare och anställda kan göra för att öka säkerheten vid utlandsvis-telse, dels för att presentera mina egna förslag på åtgärder som verkar för en ökad säkerhet.Metod - Fem intervjuer med affärsresenärer har genomförts. Dessa ligger tillsammans med information från tidigare studier till grund för de förslag på säkerhetsrutiner som presenteras i texten.Slutsats - takt med att människor följer med i samhällsutvecklingen och blir medvetna om sin egen sårbarhet och ser möjligheterna att öka sin egen säkerhet med hjälp av information via främst elektroniska media, kommer säkerhetsfrågor att bli ett naturligt inslag i vardagen. Kunskapsbasen ökar, vilket kan vara företagen till gagn, då viss säkerhetskompetens kommer att finnas inom företagen. Å andra sidan kommer de anställda att ha ökade förväntningar på att arbetsgivaren ska kunna erbjuda säkra arbetsförhållanden när de ombeds åka utomlands..

Detta examensarbete är en undersökning som jämför två förskolor i två länder, Sverige och Turkiet. Mitt intresse väcktes när jag utförde min verksamhetsförlagda tid i Turkiet. Hur en verksamhet styrs i Turkiet är väldigt annorlunda jämfört med hur de styrs i Sverige. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka pedagogers arbete på förskolorna med fokus på barns delaktighet och inflytande. Frågeställningarna som jag har besvarat är: Hur arbetar förskolepedagoger med barns delaktighet och inflytande i Turkiet respektive Sverige? Och Vilka skillnader och likheter finns mellan pedagogernas syn på förskolans uppdrag och barnsyn? Metod som används är kvalitativa intervjuer och observationer.
