Employer Branding handlar om att marknadsföra sitt arbetsgivarvarumärke, företag vill vara en så attraktiv arbetsgivare som möjligt för att locka till sig de mest talangfulla medarbetarna. Employer Branding riktar sig både mot befintliga och potentiella medarbetare. Tidigare forskning definierar Employer Branding enligt följande;?The package of functional, economic and psychological benefits provided by employment, and identified with the Employing company? (Ambler & Barrow 1996)Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur ett specifikt företags Employer Branding-strategi ser ut samt hur de arbetar för att nå sin externa målgrupp ingenjörer. Studien tar även upp målgruppens uppfattning av case-organisationens arbetsgivarvarumärke samt vad de anser symboliserar attraktiva arbetsgivare generellt.

This thesis investigates the socio- and environmental economic effects of a deep repository for spent nuclear fuel in Forsmark in the municipality of Östhammar. I seek to show the general picture but focus on the effects on employment, environment and income. Cost-benefit analysis is used to investigate the differences in utility between a scenario with and a scenario without a deep repository in Forsmark. Most of the possible effects can not be valued and many can not even be quantified with the data available today. Therefore this thesis has a bit of a ?preliminary study character? and seeks to show what we know today and what needs to be further investigated when available data allow it. The costs that could be valued are noise from the traffic during the period of building and emissions of carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides from the transportation of rock masses during the building period.

Public libraries are mainly Employing women and have female managers. According to theories based upon so-cial construction we create our roles together in our society. The role of a manager has for a long time been viewed as the role of a man. The objective of my thesis is to gain knowledge on how a few women that work as managers in public libraries perceive and describe their roles. A parallel aim is to let a few future librarians de-scribe their managers and their own views on leadership, with a focus on gender issues.

 AbstractThis Master?s thesis analyses the dynamics of the medieval counterweight lever engine, ortrebuchet, a type of mechanical artillery. The purpose is to study the differences between different types of these machines, and see if computer simulations can be used to validate preserved advice on construction. Simulations include machines with a fixed counterweight, a hinged counterweight and a combination of both counterweights.Due to the almost complete lack of archaeological finds and insufficient historical source material there are still, after more than a century of research, many unanswered questions concerning the design and performance of these machines.The present study is based on an analysis by Jahsman (2004). A more detailed mathematical model Employing Coulomb-friction is used.

The red-tailed monkey (Cercopithecus ascanius) is a small, alert and active animal inhabiting forests with dense vegetation and as such hard to observe in its natural habitat. The principal aim of this study was to scrutinize whether the methods, previously used in a behavioural study of the blue monkey (Cercopithecus mitis) can be applied in studies of the red-tailed monkey?s behaviour as well. Additionally, habitat preference and foraging behaviour of the red-tailed monkey were examined. The study was carried out between the 16th and the 22nd of March 2009 in the Sabaringo forest, located on the western border of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Trade was assigned as a Community responsibility at the founding of the European Community in 1957. It was then recognized that Europe would achieve a greater international influence if it were to negotiate trade deals with one voice. Since then, the basic rule has been that the European Commission negotiates agreements on behalf of the EC, and presents the agreements negotiated for approval in the European Council. Today, the 25-member European Union is the largest trading power in the world, and most member states have decades of experience of coordinating their national trade interests into a common position. However, partly as a result of the complex nature of the trade decision-making processes it is sometimes problematic to identify who or what really influences EU trade policy.

At the end of August 1999, the local government council of Malmö city decided thatthe area known as Kvarteret Bilen would be made available for the European HousingExhibition 2001 (Bo01-mässan). Kvarteret Bilen extends over approximately 80hectars and includes the western parts of the Western Harbour area (Västra hamnen)of Malmö.Kvarteret Bilen as a whole, but especially the western sections of this area, the socalledBo01 section, has been the subject of heated discussions. This is mainly due tothe fact that the ground in question has proven to be contaminated to a certain extentby different chemical compounds. Investigations undertaken during 1998 showed sporadically high concentrations forespecially one chemical group: polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH).The first part of the paper describes the use of a mathematical equation (Fetter 1994)to calculate the concentration of PAH from a continuous discharge at a given time byEmploying Geographical Information System (GIS). Even the constraints of theequation are discussed, as well as the consequences that follow as a result of usingGIS.The second part of the paper focuses on the connections between the content ofcarcinogenic PAH in Kvarteret Bilen and the ground water level and type of fillingmaterial.

RFID är en teknik som kan användas för att reducera tid samt förbättra logistiska processer i försörjningskedjor. Trots att denna teknik har börjat spridas, används den generellt inte hos svenska modeföretag.

Kenya is considered to be a developing country. This means that basic needs such as nutrition are not met for an extended period of time (www, Sida 1, 2012). Approximately half of the population is living under the poverty line (www, CIA 1, 2012). Agriculture is the largest sector in the country, Employing 75% of the population. These are thereby directly dependent on the sufficiency of outputs received.

Equality between men and women has as an ideal won an increasing impact on the contemporary Swedish society and has established as a factor influencing all areas of society from politics to business and private life. The focus of this essay is to explore the impact of equality on hegemonic masculinity and relations of masculinities. The aim of the essay has moreover been to investigate the consequences of an increased focus on men and critique of masculinity due to a growing influence of feminism and women?s movement in Sweden. The study is based on interviews with four members of staff working in a men?s clinic for sexual and reproductive health in Stockholm, Järva Mansmottagning.

I examensarbetet ?Landskapsurbanism i en Post-Industriell kontext? diskuteras den relativt nya diskursen kring ?Landscape Urbanism? eller ?landskapsurbanism?. Arbetet fokuserar på platser som har övergivits av industrin, i skenet av den post-industriella utvecklingen. Huvudmålet med studierna av ämnet är att belysa ett antal ?landskapsurbanistiska metoder? och sedan tillämpa dessa på min plats: den gamla Cementafabriken på Övägen i Limhamn, Malmö.Den största inspirationskällan i detta är den amerikanske landskapsarkitekten James Corner´s teorier, och de metoder som utövas av hans landskapsarkitekturbyrå; ?Field Operations? i New York.Eftersom ämnet täcker in väldigt många aspekter och problemställningar rörande samtida urban planering och design, har jag i enlighet med Corner delat in min text under fyra rubriker:- Processes over time- The Staging of surfaces- The Operational or Working method- The ImaginaryDet gamla cementfabriksområdet har förvärvats av byggbolaget NCC, och kommer inom en snar framtid att bebyggas med bostäder.

Axelopererade personer har svårt att röra sig under några veckor efter operationen. Den som bor i glesbygden och blir opererad i axeln eller armen måste regelbundet åka långa sträckor för att besöka sjukvården och bli undersökt. Frågan är om det går att minska dessa bilturer och samtidigt behålla vårdkvaliteten? Man har kunnat reducera patienternas resande till och från sjukvården med hjälp av en enkel videokonferensanläggning som patienten får låna hem. Med denna utrustning kan patienten upprätta videomöten med vårdpersonalen istället för att åka till sjukvården.
