Varumärkesbyggande och dess påverkan på anställdas attityder : En kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie

Studien undersökte hur medarbetare såg på företagets varumärke innan påbörjad anställning i förhållande till hur de såg på företagets varumärke i dagsläget. En andra aspekt som undersökningen berörde är vad som influerade företagets ?employer branding-arbete? utifrån ett antal ställda påståenden och hur dessa berör varandra. Studien gjordes på en avdelning inom Saab Group och bygger på ett bekvämlighetsurval (n=35). Insamlingen av data genomfördes genom en surveyundersökning med frågor relaterat till före och under anställning.

The leadership within healthcare is a constantly discussed subject. The discussion today is evolving around the physicians' lack of strive towards becoming managers within healthcare organizations. Furthermore the leadership that the nurse practice when becoming manager is on the other hand not discussed. The purpose of this study is to describe important factors of the leadership the nurse practice upon physicians in a healthcare organization as well as to explain why that is. To fulfill this purpose, we have used a qualitative case study research design including a private Swedish healthcare company.

Anställdas upplevelser av ett mediedrev : Caremaskandalen kopplat till psykologiskt kontrakt

Hösten 2011 utsattes vårdföretaget Carema för ett mediedrev, där det på några av företagets enheter, främst på Koppargården, uppmärksammades stora brister i vården. Med utgångspunkt i konceptet employer brand, samt med hjälp av teorierna om psykologiskt kontrakt och social identitetsteori, tittar denna studie på personal på två andra Caremaenheter med syftet att undersöka hur dessa anställda upplevt mediedrevet samt varför de har påverkats på det sätt som de gjort. Tio anställda intervjuades, svaren analyserades med en kombination av induktiv och deduktiv tematisk analys. Resultatet visade att mediedrevet upplevdes som jobbigt men i varierande grad. Många upplevde att deras arbete blev ifrågasatt, att drevet gjorde dem misstänksamma mot nya yrkesrelaterade kontakter och att de blev oroade över företagets framtid.

UTVECKLING AV PROCESSORPLATTFORM

Abstract The purpose of this project is to develop a modular processor card which is intended to work as a platform for Kitron Development Karlskoga. The modular processor card is meant to be used as a control system in development projects, mainly in medical and industrial products. The processor card will consist of a central unit with the basic functions for a control system. Furthermore there will be complete modules with machine commodity and programming, to pick exactly the necessary functions for a specific application. With consideration to the specification of the development and the main unit, I chose an adequate microprocessor (AT90CAN32) as core and interface circuits to stated border areas. The construction is first completed in the program MultiSim and then remade in the program OrCAD Capture. The programming language C was used in the software model.

En attraktiv arbetsplats? - En kvalitativ studie om att arbeta inom äldreomsorgen.

Syftet var att undersöka hur medarbetare inom äldreomsorgen uppfattar äldreomsorgen som arbetsplats samt klargöra vilka faktorer som de upplever gör och skulle kunna göra äldreomsorgen till en attraktiv arbetsplats. En kvalitativ metod tillämpades genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med undersköterskor och vårdbiträden inom äldreomsorgen i Kungälvs kommun. Fyra av respondenterna var anställda då studien genomfördes och två av dem hade nyligen slutat.Resultatet visar en mångfasetterad uppfattning om äldreomsorgen som arbetsplats. Resursfördelningen på arbetsplatsen påverkar hur vården bedrivs samtidigt som medarbetarens egen vilja har en inverkan. Den främsta faktorn som gör äldreomsorgen till en attraktiv arbetsplats är den sociala kontakten med de äldre.

We have through our knowledge from working life, on several occasions experienced colleagues becoming ill, the cause being the psychosocial working environment. The desired repetitivelyprocess is almost non-existing.The aim of this master thesis is to primary identify those parameters that effects theresistance, observe and if possible to perform tests on them. The results from this analysisstand as base for recommendations to achieve a repetitive and standardized printing process.The results and the observations from the tests indicate that a repetitive process is possible toachieve.

IRB 340, Flexpicker is an industrial robot used for sorting, packaging and the handling of details up to two kg. The Flexpicker is a delta robot, meaning that it with three arms controls a triangular plate, swivel, in a work area shaped like a cylinder. Background: The goal of psychiatric nursing interventions is to enhance people?s ability tocope with feelings of futility, to get control of their lives and to learn coping strategies inorder to manage their mental illness and its consequences. Specialist nurses in psychiatric carecoordinate and direct nursing care based on evidence-based knowledge.Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate what kind of nursing acts specialist nurses usein the psychiatric inpatient unit and investigate how they perceive their professional role.Method: The design used was a descriptive qualitative interview study. Nine specialist nursesworking in psychiatric inpatient units were interviewed. Six of the participants were womenand three were men aged 28-53 years.

Previous studies have shown positive results on the use of music as postoperative pain relief. Quantitative studies have examined the effect of music on rated pain and otherparameters such as anxiety, relaxation and blood-pressure. The purpose of this study was to investigate the expectations and experiences of patients and nurses onimplementing music as postoperative pain relief in an orthopedic unitQualitative design and semi-structured interviews were used to examine expectations and experiences. Five patients and five nurses in the unit were interviewed.Four themes developed during the data-analysis. These themes were ?Expectations on music as postoperative pain relief?, ?Experiences of music as postoperative pain relief?,?Effects of music as postoperative pain relief? and ?Continued implementation of musicas postoperative pain relief?.

Teoretisk kunskap i en praktisk verklighet: en intervjustudie om socionomers och arbetsledares kunskapssyn i socialtjänstens arbete med barn och unga

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how social workers perceive the concept of knowledge within social services, particularly within children and youth services. Our goal is also to study the employer's expectations and demands on graduate social workers. The main questions we address in this thesis are; What knowledge is seen as useful by employers and graduate social workers working in social welfare offices? To what extent does university education bring useful knowledge to the work being done by social workers? What practical knowledge is there in the workplace for social workers to learn? When recruiting, what expectations does the employer have of graduate social workers? What challenges are there with recruiting a graduate social worker?We have interviewed six social workers and four employers in the social childcare division in different municipalities in Skåne region, Sweden. We have used epistemology in our analysis.

Attrahera Generation Y : En studie om hur Karlstads kommun kan attrahera framtidens arbetare

Denna uppsats har till syfte att redogöra för Generation Y och vad Karlstads kommun bör tänka på i kommande rekrytering av denna målgrupp. Generation Y trädde in på arbetsmarknaden runt millennieskiftet och förväntas nu ta över efter den stora andel äldre som snart lämnar sina arbeten och blir pensionärer. Till följd av att det föreligger ett stort rekryteringsbehov inom kommunal verksamhet under kommande tioårsperiod såg vi här ett problemområde som var intressant att forska vidare i. I arbetet med att klargöra attribut som är signifikativt för just Generation Y föll det sig naturligt att också se vad som kännetecknar tidigare generationer för att på så sätt reda ut vad som skiljer dessa åt. Studien är uppbyggd på en kvalitativ intervjustudie som utgörs av sju halvstrukturerade forskningsintervjuer.

Förbättrad förbränningsstabilitet i EBK för turbofläktmotor RM12 genom förändrad motorreglering : Improved afterburner combustion stability for turbofan engine RM12 by modified engine control

The engine of JAS 39 Gripen, RM12, has recently been equipped with a new flameholder and a new engine inlet. This change has caused an increased noise level from the engine when the afterburner is in use. The noise level reaches its peak when the afterburner is partially used. The problem is thought to be unstable combustion in the regions around the flameholder. A solution to the problem has been proposed by Volvo Aero.

LCC-analys av FTX-system : En jämförelse av centralt- och lägenhetsplacerat

This report is the result of a thesis conducted at the consulting firm Bjerking AB andis the final part of the Bachelor Programme in Construction Engineering at Universityof Uppsala. The work aims to investigate the costs and how the choice of ventilationsystem affects building projects during a long-term period. This report covers costssuch as investment, maintenance and energy but also how they affect residents andbuilders. Building regulations for energy consumption are expected to be tougher;therefore a comparison of two different heat recovery ventilation systems(HRV-system) was made. One system is based on a centrally placed unit that coversthe whole buildings ventilation through vertical shafts.
