Varumärkesidentitet vid positionering av varumärken

The purpose of this thesis was to illuminate how companies work with their brand identity and particularly how it is applied in their positioning. The empirical data has been collected through interviews with two companies in Sweden working with brand identity as a stated strategy. The study shows that companies discover, develop and build their brand identity based on their core identity and core values. The core value can be strengthened through customer satisfaction surveys. In order to develop the brand identity in companies, management has to be aware of their brand person- ality, as an essentiality for survival.

 This thesis aims to through certain parts of the brand equity investigate the trust of consumers for a brand that recently experienced a product-harm crisis. It also wants to investigate why this trust exist, if it does. Structured interviews were carried out at 60 respondents in Uppsala. The results show that the respondents have positive associations with ICA, they think that ICA maintains a high quality on their products and services and that 50% more often choose to do their grocery shopping at ICA. The conclusion of the study is that ICA has a strong brand equity resulting in brand trust from consumers, which is founded in the brand reliability and brand intentions of the company. .

Companies spend huge amounts on communicating their brand through marketing. Many of these contact areas where the consumer comes in contact with the brand is con-trolled by the company. The brand image is also affected from outside the company. Anställdas upplevelser av ett mediedrev : Caremaskandalen kopplat till psykologiskt kontrakt

Hösten 2011 utsattes vårdföretaget Carema för ett mediedrev, där det på några av företagets enheter, främst på Koppargården, uppmärksammades stora brister i vården. Med utgångspunkt i konceptet Employer brand, samt med hjälp av teorierna om psykologiskt kontrakt och social identitetsteori, tittar denna studie på personal på två andra Caremaenheter med syftet att undersöka hur dessa anställda upplevt mediedrevet samt varför de har påverkats på det sätt som de gjort. Tio anställda intervjuades, svaren analyserades med en kombination av induktiv och deduktiv tematisk analys. Resultatet visade att mediedrevet upplevdes som jobbigt men i varierande grad. Många upplevde att deras arbete blev ifrågasatt, att drevet gjorde dem misstänksamma mot nya yrkesrelaterade kontakter och att de blev oroade över företagets framtid.

The war for talent : En undersökning av högteknologiska företags arbete med employer branding samt vilka attribut ingenjörsstuderande finner attraktiva hos framtida arbetsgivare inom högteknologi

Syftet med föreliggande undersökning är dels att undersöka hur företag inom den högteknologiska branschen arbetar med Employer branding för att ses som attraktiv för potentiella framtida arbetstagare. Dels syftar även undersökningen till att få kunskap om vad ingenjörsstuderande, inom det för dessa högteknologiska företag intressanta utbildningar, finner attraktivt hos en framtida arbetsgivare. Metoden för undersökningen är därför både kvalitativ genom intervjuer och kvantitativ genom enkäter. Resultaten från undersökningen visar att företagen aktivt arbetar med att synas, differentiera sig från konkurrenterna, ses som relevanta och uppfylla psykologiska kontrakt. De har insett vikten av att arbeta med Employer branding för att kunna kompetenssäkra i ett tidigt stadie. De arbetar både internt samt externt för att bygga upp ett starkt Employer brand som kommer skapa attraktion hos potentiella framtida arbetstagare.

Previous literature lack descriptions of how the actual work is carried out in organizations. Previous literature also takes basis in the private sector and there is a lack of studies conducted in the public sector.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe how an organization in a public sector works with Employer branding and it also aims to increase the understanding of Employer branding.Method: The study is a descriptive case study based on a qualitative approach with semi- structured interviews with two employees at Örebro kommun. Throughout the study previous literature on Employer branding is used.Results: We have noticed different activities in the organizations work with employees, leadership and communication that contribute to Employer branding. The organization has a well-developed approach for the existing employees that contribute to the employee's personal development.

The purpose with this thesis is to investigate how Swedish clothing companies create and communicate a personality for their brand. Case studies were conducted with three companies: Nudie Jeans, Koppartrans and J.Lindeberg. These firms can be considered as established clothing brands nationally as well as internationally. The study found that individualism, logotype and moral standpoints play an important role in the creation and the communication of a brand?s personality.
