Den ideella verksamheten och dess betydelse för individen The voluntary organisations meaning for the individual
In Sweden the voluntary socialwork is a complement to the public authorities. The voluntary organisations has become more important considered helping people in different situations of need.
The aim of this study has been to examine the voluntary organisations meaning for individuals.
The aim was reached through interviews by five guests from different organisations.
We have also interviewed two employees from the different organisations to find out if there is any differences in their way of work.
This study indicates that the organisations means a lot for the individuals. The social network, something to do during the day, a kind treatment but also the milieu are factors that seems important for the individuals. The organisations even creates a feeling of connection and satisfy other kind of needs.

Radisson SAS - Varför har deras företagskunder valt dem, och varför stannar de kvar
Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to study how the hotel chain Radisson SAS works with prolonged customer relations with their business clients, with other words the clients that have business agreements with them.Methods: This study will contain an inductive approach and qualitative methods. The qualitative research method is in the shape of a deep interview with the sales manager of Radisson SAS and qualitative interviews of chosen business clients to the hotel.Results: The results of this investigation show that business clients are controlled by what kind of agreements their company has.The companies sign agreements with hotels and hotel chains that are able to satisfy big parts of their needs, if not all of them.With the help of flexible solutions, a well known brand, and good relations, Radisson SAS has made sure that their business clients have prolonged their agreements.They are a global hotel chain near transports, and business clients feel secure with Radisson SAS..
Koncerninterna vinstöverföringar - finns det någon strategi?
The purpose of our essay is to find out if there are any strategies for profit transactions in a group. To realise our purpose we conducted two case studies with interviews. But we can not draw any general conclusions.To conduct the research we had to build a theory. In this theory we found motives to do profit transactions and how to do it. We also thought that there had to be some conflicts between the motives and the manager´s interests.In our analysis we found that financing the dividend was a strong reason to make profit transactions between companies in the group.
Utveckling av licenshanteringssystem för kontroll av programåtkomst
Ett system utvecklades för företaget Monitor i Hudiksvall. Syftet var att skapaett system som kan kontrollera vilka funktioner ett program kan komma åtutifrån den licens som kunden har betalat för, i form av en licensfil. En analysav företagets befintliga licenshanteringssystem gjordes för att identifiera vilkaproblem som behöver lösas i det nya systemet. Arbetet har använt en agilmetod med små inkrementella leveranser och ständig kundkontakt. Eftersomsystemet fungerar som ett API och använder sig av nätverkskommunikationöver potentiellt osäkra nät, har kryptering av datatrafik med tekniken SSL/TLSanvänts.
Modellering av variantrik produkt för att stödja programmering av produktkonfigurator - en utvärdering av Produktvariantmastermetoden
I samband med att en produkt eller en produktflora implementeras i ett produktkonfigurationssystem hos ett företag uppstår många gånger ett behov av att reda ut relationer för varianter inom produkten eller inom produktfloran. För att skapa en översikt av informationen och inkluderande varianter finns det ett antal olika tekniker. En av dessa tekniker kallas Produktvariantmaster, vilket är en layoutteknik som är utvecklad vid tekniska universitetet i Köpenhamn (Technical University of Denmark). Metoden kan liknas vid ett mer etablerat klassdiagram dock med den elementära skillnaden att modellen delas in i tre olika vyer, där de olika intressenternas specifika intresseområden presenteras. Tidigare har denna metod använts i fall där antalet varianter hos produktfloran har varit överskådligt.Idag saknas en produktanalysteknik som kan agera stöd vid programmering av ett produktkonfigurationssystem hos Fläkt Woods i Jönköping, ett företag som tillverkar luftbehandlingsaggregat.

The leadership within healthcare is a constantly discussed subject. The discussion today is evolving around the physicians' lack of strive towards becoming managers within healthcare organizations. Furthermore the leadership that the nurse practice when becoming manager is on the other hand not discussed. The purpose of this study is to describe important factors of the leadership the nurse practice upon physicians in a healthcare organization as well as to explain why that is. To fulfill this purpose, we have used a qualitative case study research design including a private Swedish healthcare company.
En arena för alla? : En studie om normbrytare på Stockholms stads idrottsplatser
In Stockholm there are currently five women, out of a total of 102 employees, working in public sports arenas. In sports arenas men are numerically superior amongst the workers as well as the visitors. These arenas are in many ways male dominated, masculinized environments. In this essay I investigate the reasons behind the uneven distribution, in terms of gender, among sports arena workers. I do this by interviewing seven female sports arena workers (the five current and two former), and by observing their workplaces.
Humanurin till åkermark och grönytor : avsättning och organisation i Göteborgsområdet
This study investigates how nutrients from source-separated human urine from Gothenburg properties can be used as fertiliser in agriculture or for parks or sports fields. The initiator is the Department of Sustainable Water and Waste Management at the City of Gothenburg. Today urine-diverting systems are installed in two apartment buildings and two public-use buildings. Urine recycling is expected to lead to less exploitation of natural resources and less eutrophicating discharges into water recipients. In the study the urine?s market potential is investigated, for which practical handling issues, business aspects and acceptance of customers, employees and visitors have proved to be important.
En handläggning är som en resa, man vet aldrig hur den slutar. : En studie i vad som påverkar biståndsbedömare i handläggningsprocessen
Studiens syfte varatt kartlägga de faktorer som påverkar biståndsbedömarnas handlande i handläggningsprocessen samt att undersöka hur intervjupersonerna förhåller sig till dessa faktorer. för att besvara vårt syfte har vi utgått från följande frågeställningar; vilka är det för faktorer som påverkar biståndshandläggarna i handläggningsprocessen? Samt hur förhåller sig intervjupersonerna till dessa faktorer? För att samla data använde vi en kvalitativ metod med halvstrukturerade livsvärldsintervjuer. Studien har utgått från ett fenomenologiskt perspektiv vilket har givit en god inblick i biståndsbedömarnas livsvärld och vi har genom dessa intervjuer funnit följande faktorer som påverkar biståndsbedömarna; uppdraget, handlingsutrymme, äldre som ansöker om bistånd, anhöriga och kollegor. Utifrån de valda analysverktygen som Socialkonstruktivism, Doxa och Gräsrotsbyråkraten har vi funnit förklaringar till varför biståndsbedömarna förhåller sig till de olika faktorerna på de sätt som de gör..
Motivation och arbetstillfredsställelse i ett monotont arbete : En kvantitativ fallstudie gjord på kassamedarbetare på Ica Kvantum och Coop Forum
Motivation, in an organizational context, is about whether the employees feel that their work is worthwhile, satisfactory and that there are opportunities for further development within the organization. However, motivation can be affected by a number of factors that originate from the employees? characteristics, the characteristics of the situation and the individuals perception of that situation. A factor that could lead to a low level of motivation is if the employee feels that his work is monotonous.Thus the purpose was to study the factors that lead to motivation and job satisfaction in a working environment that generally is considered monotonous and dull by investigating the target group cashiers at two Swedish grocery stores called Ica Kvantum and Coop Forum.In this study a quantitative method was used by the design of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was used to get a general idea of the factors that the respondents consider motivating in their work.The results and the analysis of the questionnaire show that you really cannot make any general conclusions since there are many different factors that lead to motivation depending on who you are as an individual and in what phase of life one finds oneself.
Fallet SAS : En studie i hur medial diskurs reproducerar maktförhållanden på arbetsmarknaden
Aim: The purpose of this study is to explore how the media through a certain discourse constructs a view of the labor market and the power relations between companies, unions and employees. The goal is to explore this through studying the media coverage of SAS? financial situation between September-December 2012 and our research question is the following: What view of the labor market and its power relations was constructed and reproduced by Swedish newspapers through their portrayal of SAS during September-December 2012?Method: This study analyses the findings with the help of questions based on theories of social constructivism, discourse, agenda-setting and power. A content and discourse analysis was compiled of 360 articles from five Swedish newspapers that addressed SAS and their situation from September-December 2012. The results of these analyses were further processed using power analysis and John Gaventa?s power cube.Results: In this study we conclude that the medial discourse constructs identities of the different actors and affect power relations between them, in favor of the company.

Dampness in the indoor environment have been a major issue of discussion the last decades since more and more people complain about their indoor environment. In the present situation there are difficulties to find what causes people?s discomfort in a damp environment even though there is a strong connection between dampness and human health.The aim of the thesis was to contribute to the work done today to achieve a better indoor environment in damp buildings. The purpose of the work was to evaluate whether the measures issued for dampness in the indoor environment contributes to the improvement of health and environment for those who are living or working in that space. Through a literature review, interview and survey the following three questions were answered to achieve the aim and purpose:How are people affected by the indoor environment in damp buildings?Which are the measures issued to prevent dampness in the indoor environment?Do these interventions contribute to a better indoor environment?How people are affected by the indoor environment in damp buildings and how these problems are prevented were the foundation for the continued work with the survey.
Intern marknadsföring - i ett tjänsteproducerande IT-företag
The purpose of this thesis was to describe how service producing IT- companies handles their internal marketing. We wanted to understand how management deal with internal marketing activities and how different companies create a working environment to encourage employees to motivation and well-being. To be able to find out we did a case study on a service producing IT-company. Two personal interviews were done with two of the managers. Our empirical research showed that the company used internal marketing on a daily basis.

The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. Freedoms, rights and obligations conflict with each other.
Relation utan oberoende? : En studie av sex mindre revisionsbyråer
Real estate managers work in a hard branch with big competition and skeptical customers. For most people, buying a property is the biggest private purchase of their lives. This puts a big pressure on the real estate agent to make the process run smooth. But how does the customer know which real estate manager to choose? We have researched what effect the real estate managers clothing has on the customers? first impression and how clothing affects customers? choice of real estate agents.To answer our questions we´ve done 13 projective interviews with ten customers and three real estate agents, where we showed four pictures with the same person dressed in different styles.
