The Swedish consumption of lamb a increasing, and today we yearly eat a kilo of lamb per person each year. As a consequence the Swedish degree of self production according to lamb is steadily decreasing, and is today about 39 %.Today Swedish Meats is now cooperating with the Swedish lamb breeders organisation to raise that percentage. At the same time the European Union presents a new agricultural reform, the MTR (Mid Term Review). The shape of this new reform is not yet fully known, but the general policy has been more or less outlined. The new reform is split into three propositions: the farm model, the regional model and the mixed model.

"Alla känner alla" : En studie om musikbolags relation till media

The purpose of our study has been to analyze the character of the interaction between music labels and media and to examine to what extent the artist brand is being considered in music labels relationship with media. This has resulted in our research question:What characterizes the large music labels relationship with media?For this study we have used a qualitative approach to achieve a deeper understanding of our chosen topic. We have conducted seven interviews with representatives from both major record labels and media companies with great knowledge about our subject. Five of the interviews were conducted face-to-face and two were performed via e-mail.In the final chapter we answer our research question and thus present our conclusions.

Alumninätverks fördelar och förutsättningar - en fallstudie om företags möjligheter att förvalta sina alumnirelationer

From a time where employees often remained at one company until retirement, globalization and changed employment patterns have created a more mobile labor market in the last years. In an effort to expand the connection between organization and employee a rising interest in corporate alumni networks has emerged. Previous research has shown that conditions for such networks are formed through employees social identification, perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship and can be shaped by company's HR practices.This paper aims to examine two case companies' perceived benefits through alumni relations as well as their HR prac-tices, in order to increase understanding surrounding the relationship between the two areas. Further the study intends to draw conclusions about the role of corporate alumni networks in the creation of the received benefits.The study indicates that HR practices, through the creation of an organizational citizenship behavior, can influence the conditions for beneficial alumni relations. Results show that some expected benefits of alumni relations can be re-ceived through strong citizenship.

Methodology: E-mails were sent out to 6 different companies with a proposition for participation. Of those companies that gave a positive answer the most suited company for the diploma work was selected. Thereafter, a contact was established through telephone with the CEO of the chosen company and relevant questions to him were formulated. The second time of contact the first interview was held and half of the questions were answered.

Före 1996 var den svenska elmarknaden reglerad. För konsumenterna innebar regleringen att elenergin skulle upphandlas från eldistributören på bostadsorten. Elföretagen hade på detta sätt ensamrätt på ett visst område och konsumenterna hade ingen möjlighet att påverka elpriset. Den första januari 1996 avreglerades elmarknaden. Beslutet föregicks av en proposition från regeringen där målen med avregleringen presenterades.

Ledarskapsskillnader mellan ofentligt och privat anställda ledare : När sektorstillhörighet inte längre är relevant

The Public vs. private movement has over the past decades identified numerous significant differences between public and private organizations. The observed differences covers almost every field in administrative economics ranging from organizational structure, management accounting, goal-setting and in the past few years even leadership. Strangely, in the majority of these studies little or no regards are given to organizational characteristics or fundamental differences between compared organizations and if these organizations really are comparable when studying the effect of sector.The aim of this study is to compare leadership in relatively similar organizations from both the public and private sector and so clarify if earlier identified differences in leadership styles still surface when leaders working with approximately the same thing in a similar work context are studied.A sample of 348 Swedish principals was drawn from both municipal and private elementary schools. The respondents answered a web-based survey based on the CPE-model resulting in leadership styles mapped according to three orientations: change, production and employee.

Tjänsteutbud i stadsnät : Vilka faktorer påverkar utbudet?

Under IT-boomen i början av 2000-talet släpptes regeringens IT-proposition som bland annat behandlade svenska folkets tillgång till bredband med hög överföringskapacitet. Kommunerna fick i uppdrag att bygga en infrastruktur för bredband baserad på fiber genom så kallade stadsnät. Förhållningen från staten var att näten skulle byggas enligt en öppen modell som skulle stimulera fri konkurrens och operatörsneutralitet. Detta skulle i slutändan resultera i ökad valfrihet för kunden och ett ökat tjänsteutbud.I denna magisteruppsats har vi undersökt hur affärsmodellen som stadsnät ar-betar efter inverkar på tjänsteutbudet. Vi har även identifierat andra faktorer som påverkar tjänsteutvecklingen.

Kvalitetssäkring av Patent- och registreringsverket : EPO-praxis som förebild för svensk handläggning av patent

Svensk patenträtt har i stor omfattning harmoniserats med praxis utvecklad av det europeiska patentverket (EPO), vad avser patenterbarhetskriterier. Anledningen till harmoniseringen har motiverats av att det ska bli en mer enhetlig bedömning av patent i Europa. Harmoniseringen har i vart fall inte innefattat så kallad formell praxis, som innefattar regler om hand­läggandet hos det svenska patentverket, i förhållande till handläggandet av det vid EPO. Vid Sveriges anslutning till European Patent Convention (EPC) år 1978, förespråkades att det svenska patentverket ansågs hålla en godtagbar standard i sin handläggning, men att det fram­tida förhållandet mellan svensk patenträtt och EPC kunde komma att innebära förändring om kvalitetsnivån inte kunde anses tillräcklig hög. Efter ett nyligen taget beslut av Patentbesvärsrätten (PBR) har Patent- och registreringsverkets (PRV) handläggning ifrågasatts, varför författarna valt att undersöka om en förändring av hand­läggningen vid PRV bör genomföras, i enlighet med det förslag som framställs i proposition 1977/78:1, med beaktande av praxis utvecklad av EPO. I uppsatsen redogörs för hur EPO har tydligare regler avseende patent­ärenden än vad PRV har, varför en harmonisering av detta område bör diskuteras för säkerställandet av hög kvalitet vid handläggningen hos det svenska patentverket. Det är författarnas uppfattning att en ofullständig harmonisering även av formella regler resulterar i ett problem för säkerställandet av rättssäkerheten, eftersom lagregleringen i Sverige kan anses bristfällig.

De första på plats: En fallstudie av entreprenörers resonerande vid etablering på en ung marknad

One of the areas in which current theory on entrepreneurship is ambiguous is in the explanation of how entrepreneurs act when entering a new market. One author that has attempted to contribute in this area is Saras D. Sarasvathy who has tried to explain the entrepreneurs reasoning through the theory of causation and effectuation. The former refers to a reasoning that takes the effect of an entrepreneurial action as given, while the latter looks upon the effects as uncertain, while only the means are given. With a foundation in this theory, Sarasvathy claims that when entrepreneurs enters a new market the level of environmental uncertainty is so high that reasoning based on causal relationships is rendered useless.

The works of an employee within an authority involves many laws and rules that have to be followed at the same time every case is unique and the resources are limited. This study wants to illustrate how national environmental goals are applied by länsstyrelserna in Sweden. How does the implementation of the environmental goals works by länsstyrelserna in Blekinge, Skåne and Örebro län? Which problems creates obstacles in the implementation of the environmental goals according to länsstyrelserna? What differs between länsstyrelserna in the implementation? Mainly it is the complexity of problems that will be illustrated here, which may result in different implementation sof the environmental goals by länsstyrelserna or that the environmentalgoals do not applys like intended. In this study sixteen national environmentalgoal are examined; ?fresh air?.

Att möta fördomar : En kvalitativ studie om några finska och utomnordiska romers upplevelser på bostads- och arbetsmarknaden

The aim of this study has been to examine how a few members of the Finnish and non- Scandinavian Romani subgroups experience their own, and their groups, situation on the Housing- and Labour Market. We´ve studied our respondents? experiences of discrimination, which difficulties they think there are, what strategies can be used to deal with these difficulties and also their own ideas on how to improve the situation for the Romani people in the Swedish society. This has been done by six individual structured interviews which have been analyzed with concepts from Symbolic Interactionism, including Goffman?s Dramaturgical Role Theory, definition of Stigma and Kelly?s theory of Personal Constructions.

During the last decade research in leadership has escalated and newleadership styles have started to prevail. This study intends to examinewhether a leaders increased level of motivation in turn can motivateemployees. A major company included all employees in a leader position inan exhaustive intervention with the purpose to increase the leaders?motivation in order for them to motivate their employees. After theintervention, which ended in spring 2012, interviews with six differentemployees at the company were made to see if their level of motivation hadincreased.

Avgörande faktorer vid affärsutbyten med Polen : en flerfallsstudie inom miljösektorn

Länsförsäkringar in Värmland, Sweden, had during the year 2003 a total level of 6.1 percent of people on the sick-list, which was higher than average in the business (4,5%) and for salaried employees in the private sector (3,3%). The average age of those put on sick-list was 47 years, whish is four years higher than the average for the whole LF-group. The cost for the total amount of people being on sick-list at LF-company (6,1%) was estimated to 1 500 kkr, according to a calculation model coming from Försäkringskassan. For every percent the sick level could be reduced, the company would save 239 kkr. To map out the state of health of each and every collaborator in LF, the company offered all employees to make a health profile at the company's health service, Clarahälsan AB.

Ett gott bemötande : Nyanställd vårdpersonals upplevelse av bemötandet vid arbetsintroduktionen

Att vara nyanställd är inte alltid förenat med glädje, bra självkänsla och trygghet, mycket av detta hänger på att bli bemött på ett trevligt och förtroendeingovande sätt. Efter att ha intervjuat nyanställd vårpersonal i kommunal verksamhet har detta visat sig vara än tydligare. Svårigheter i att ge ett gott bemötande kan förebyggas genom att säkerställa att övrig personal vet vad verksamheten förväntar sig att ge en nyanställd under arbetsintroduktionen och på så vis skapa trygghet för den som skall introduceras med även för den befintliga personalen. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur den nyanställda vårdpersonalen har upplevt att de blivit bemötta under sin arbetsintroduktion och hur dett bemötande kan ha kommit att påverka deras självkänsla för fortsatt anställning. Utifrån Martin Bubers dialogpedagogik, Erving Goffmans teorier om interkationsritualer och George Herbert Meads teorier om symbolisk interaktionism har resultatet av studien analyserats.

Ledarskap i relation till motivation. En kvalitativ fallstudie om hur motivation inom ramen f?r Self-Determination Theory fr?mjas av olika ledarskapsstilar

Leadership in organizations plays a crucial role in promoting employee motivation. Different leadership styles have been shown to affect motivation in various ways. The purpose of this report is to establish a deeper understanding of the relationship between different leadership styles and motivation according to Self-Determination Theory. The report also aims to highlight potential similarities and differences in the perceptions of leaders and employees in various industries, regarding motivation as defined by Self-Determination Theory. Based on a case study, it includes interviews with eight leaders and eight employees.
