An individual's social capital consists largely of the social networks that may consist offamily, friends and acquaintances. The social network is of great significance on olderpeople's physical and mental health. Aim: The overall purpose is to examine the knowledgeof social network and the health of the elderly. Method: Litterature review, using threedifferent databases, CINAHL, PubMed and Scoupus for searching of articles, with differentcombinations of keywords. Results: Different types of social networks have both positive andnegative effects on health.

This essay will examine the social organization in the archipelago of Tonga. To accomplish this purpose, archaic societies and structures such as ancient Egypt and Hawaii will be examined to obtain a closer understanding of the building blocks which constitute a chiefdom or kingdom. Since Patrick V. The purpose of this essay was to investigate and analyze affecting factors concerning social workers in two different municipality social services, Karlskrona and Karlshamn, working with cases of youth drug abuse. We wanted to see what affects social workers in their choices of assessments of youth drug abusers. We wanted to find out whether the organizational aspects or the cliental qualities affect the social workers more than the other in the choices of assessments. Among the cliental qualities we used in this essay, gender was the most important quality and therefore the quality we wanted to pay special attention to. When it came to the organizational aspects we paid special attention to the social workers boundaries of agency.

Syftet med studien var att studera hur typsnitt uppfattas, och särskilt hur dessa uppfattningar påverkas av illustrationer med varierande innehåll. Stimuli skapades genom att kombinera 3 olika illustrationer och 5 olika typsnitt, totalt 15 stimuli. Försöksgruppen bestod av 18 personer, 11 kvinnor och 7 män. Åldersspannet var från 22 till 67 år. Deltagarna fick individuellt markera på skattningsskalor hur varje stimuli uppfattades, efter 7 olika dimensioner.

The aim of this qualitative deep interview study was to gain deeper understanding of single immigrant mothers´life situation. Grounded Theory was the method of analysis. Repeated interviews with five immigrant women from different parts of the world showed that women were in need of wider and deeper social networks in order to reconstruct their identities. Social support and social networks benefit, not only reconstruction of identity, but also personal well-being. Yet it is difficult for them to create social networks in the new country, because of single motherhood.

The purpose of this study was to examine how modern information and communication technology influence collective action within the framework of social movements. By studying the protests in the Arab World 2011, and focusing on the social movements in Suleimanya in northern Iraq, by observation taken on place, the essay discusses that collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet.Result shows that modern communication technology has enabled immeasurable access andconnection between individuals throughout the world, which seems to be different from previouscollective action. The purpose of this article is to examine how social workers may experience fear in their profession, how they and their organizations handle the fear and how the fear may affect their practice. To obtain the purpose, in-depth interviews were carried out with seven social workers from the southeastern part of Sweden. The experiences of fear were many and are summarized in four categories. Fear of treats and violence, fear of the responsibility in complicated situations and without optimal solution, fear of being regarded and judged as worthless and fear of being scrutinized with the risk of being stigmatized. SammanfattningGenom hela vår lärarutbildning har vi känt att vi ständigt återkommer till samtalets betydelse i mötet mellan lärare och elev, samtal som kan ligga till grund för både ett fördjupat lärande och för att främja det sociala samspelet. Samtalet kan således kopplas både till skolans kunskaps- och demokratiuppdrag. Vi anser att det är läraren som har makten att avgöra på vilket sätt eleverna får känna delaktighet, eftersom det är läraren som bestämmer när, var och hur eleverna släpps in i samtal. Därför vill vi veta mer om elevers upplevelser och erfarenheter av kommunikation och interaktion i klassrum och skola, då det är eleverna som får ta konsekvenserna av lärares förhållningssätt. Vår utgångspunkt är det sociokulturella perspektivet, då detta perspektiv fokuserar på gruppens och språkets betydelse i lärandet. För att ta del av elevers tankar genomförde vi en kvalitativ intervjustudie i vilken det framkom att elever känner att de har goda möjligheter till att mötas och få samtala.

Purpose: Social media is a global phenomenon that has developed from an opportunity of contact between people, into a platform for contact between organizations and people. This essay aims to investigate the public relation strategies of one organization on a popular social network.The main question that this study aims to answer is how the travel agency Ving chooses to create and preserve relationships to the public on Facebook in order to maintain a good reputation. Asub-question explores whether any patterns exist in Ving?s approach of interaction with its stakeholders.Method/Material: This study consists of a quantitative content analysis in which the interaction between the organization and the audience has been studied. Posts published by the public as well as replications from Ving have been categorized and then analyzed using two analytical models.

The aim of this study was to examine the relations between sense of coherence (SOC), perceived social support and mood, the study also included gender and civil status in the analysis. In the analysis mood was the dependent variable. The study included 81 respondents, all students from Växjö university, who answered a survey with three parts: SOC 13, Mood Adjective Checklist (MACL), and an own constructed instrument that measured perceived social support. The result showed that those with a high SOC tended to have a greater mood. High scores on perceived social support also were related to a greater mood.

Författare; Jennie Andersson Nyckelord; Utbrändhet, Social trötthet, arbetsmiljö Syftet med undersökningen har varit att få fram vilka faktorer i service branschens arbetsmiljö som har betydelse för social trötthet samt undersöka eventuella samband mellan utbrändhet och social trötthet. Undersökningen är riktat mot vårdanställda och reseledare då tidigare undersökning påvisat samband mellan social trötthet och reseledare. Undersökningen är av en kvantitativ metod i form av en enkät. Denna enkät skickades ut till sammanlagt 110 personer i service branschen (vårdanställda och reseledare).

Jag har undersökt hur ca ett 30 tal tjejer uppfattar och upplevt Internetmobbning. Jag har bland annat studerat vad Internetmobbningen har för definition hos informanterna, varför Internetmobbning uppstår, om det, enligt informanterna är lika allvarligt som vanlig mobbning, som bland annat sker i skolor och på arbetsplatser, om Internetmobbning kan tänkas vara mer accepterat i samhället, huruvida informanterna har upplevt och påverkats av Internetmobbningen, och om de tror att det skiljer sig lika mycket Internetmobbning bland könen eller om det kan tänkas skilja sig. Mina teoretiska utgångspunkter härstammar från social psykologin och innefattar bland annat sociala identitetsprocesser, social interaktion och socialt identitetsskapande. Jag har även, utöver teori använt mig av tidigare forskning kring Internetmobbning men också av perspektiv tjejmobbning. Materialet är inhämtat från en enkätundersökning och har kodats och analyserats med hjälp av Grundad Teori.

Från att till enbörjan användas av privatpersoner till att nu även vara en del av flertalet företag.Tekniken kan skapa nya tillfällen att synas, skapa kundrelationer samt kommunikationsmöjligheter. Det finns olika syften med att använda social mediamen värdet kommer inte från plattformen i sig utan från hur den används. För attett företag ska använda social media kan det finnas anledning att acceptera och varamedvetna om att kritik riktat till företaget offentliggörs.
