The aim of the thesis is twofold: the first aim is to identify a number of reproductive logics that are used to construct Swedish regulation of embryo donation for reproductive use as either ethical or unethical in the governmental ? and medical discussions ? and to examine how these logics are interconnected with notions of gender and parenthood. The second aim is to identify a number of tensions that arise in the application of the governmental ethical logic on the embryo and embryo donation and discuss how these tensions can be solved with a feminist material approach. I argue that the terminology used to distinguish between genetic, biological, social and legal parenthood in my material is insufficient for understanding the value of the embryo outside its pre-human status. I therefore argue for an embryonic feminist bioethics that is attentive to the embryos post-human status, and for a reformulation of the parenthood terminology in line with what I call ?reproductive ties?..

Undersökningen har utformats genom intervjuer på 4 oberoende företag av skiftande storlek. Teoriavsnittet innehåller teorier om marknadsföringsstrategier, e-commercestrategier samt kanalkonflikter. Analysen har skett genom att jag har jämfört teori med empiri.

Health and physical exercise has a become trend in today's society and the work with health promotion has increased in organizations. This is not only a way for organizations to get healthier and more efficient employees, but also a way to regulate the employee?s identity by getting them to identify with the organization. This bachelor essay studies how health promotion can be used as a management strategy. This is done by interviews and by performed observations at the recruitment company, Adecco, in the Stockholm region.

The aim of the project was to study the effect of oral administration of glucose and leucin on the resynthesis of muscle glycogen after intense exercise in Standardbred trotters. In a crossover design, 11 Standardbred trotters performed a standardized exercise test on two occasions in order to deplete muscle glycogen. The exercise test comprised a warm up period, 7 repeated bouts of exercise on an uphill 500 m slope, and a recovery period. After the exercise test horses received: 1) a solution of glucose and leucine via a nasogastric tube at 0 minutes and at 240 minutes post exercise and a single bout of glucose at 120 minutes post exercise or 2) water (placebo) at 0, 120 and 240 minutes. Blood samples for measurement of glucose and insulin concentrations were collected at rest, when the horses returned to the stables directly after exercise and throughout the 6 hour recovery phase. During the first recovery hour, samples were collected every 15 minutes and then every 30 minutes over the next 5 hours.

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the media coverage of the case with Martin Schibbye and Johan Persson in the four biggest newspapers in Sweden in order to see how social constructions is created through the use of language. Elektronisk mobbning har under den senaste tiden blivit uppmärksammat i media. I och med att det är ett ökande problem finns också ett behov av att forska inom området. Inom det sociala arbetet möter man dagligen människor som är aktiva användare av digital kommunikation, vilket gör att kunskap inom området är angeläget. Syftet med studien var att undersöka unga Internetanvändares syn på e-mobbning, samt deras upplevelse av detta. Syftet med uppsatsen var också att undersöka maktaspekten i e-mobbning utifrån en strategianalytisk utgångspunkt.

Syftet med denna studie är att studera verksamma pedagogers uppfattning om utomhuspedagogik samt om de märker någon skillnad på barngrupper om de använder sig av utomhuspedagogik i sin verksamhet. The purpose of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of ?electronic bullying?, and furthermore to describe how this phenomenon is perceived by teenage girls with language disorders in combination with autism spectra. The conclusions and result from this study is derived from six in-depth interviews, thereof four being with girls with autism spectra diagnosis and all but one diagnosed with language disorder in addition (referred to as main respondents). The two reminding girls neither had language disorder nor autism spectra (referred to as comparing respondents). They were added to the study for the purpose of comparing their experiences and descriptions of those with language disorder and/or autism spectra diagnosis. For interpretation and analysis of study result, I have applied the method of phenomenology.                              The study?s main respondents had own experiences in the area of electronic bullying, albeit their level of knowledge of the subject were very limited and they had problems to interpret information given.

Post-anaesthetic myopathy (PAM) is a serious occasional complication of general anaesthesia in horses. It causes not only pain and suffering to the horse, but also suffering (trauma) to the owner with increased veterinary costs. In the worst case PAM can be fatal. The anaesthetic nurse must know which parameters have to be taken into consideration in the prevention of PAM, to be able to prevent it, and use that knowledge for the animals safety. The aim of this literature review was to investigate and make a presentation of the factors and measurements associated with PAM, with focus on how to monitor these measurements to prevent it from happening, and the advice a Veterinary nurse can give to the horse owner regarding this condition. According to literature there a few factors that greatly increase the risk of PAM, these include- hypotension, periods less than 60 mmHg significantly increases the risk.

E-postmeddelanden är något som de flesta av oss använder. Hur vi använder oss av e-post skiljer sig från person till person. Vi har identifierat flera olika användningssätt, till exempel att skicka en text, bifoga filer eller skicka en rolig bild. I den här rapporten studeras ett par olika sätt att med hjälp av komprimering av hela e-postmeddelanden minska datavolymen och därmed den tid det tar transportera meddelanden. Caslon Analythics spår att det 2005 kommer att skickas 236 miljarder e-postmeddelanden.

Syftet med studien har varit att utreda vilka möjligheter som finns för småföretag att använda sig av elektronisk affärskommunikation i form av EDI. Vi erbjuder genom uppsatsen denna grupp företag, småföretagen, en introduktion till EDI och hoppas på så vis hjälpa dem att komma igång med elektronisk affärskommunikation. Med småföretag avses i denna studie den definition som NUTEK presenterar, nämligen företag med mindre än 50 anställda eller som har en omsättning som understiger tio miljoner euro.Utöver att undersöka vilka möjligheter som finns för småföretag tittar vi även på hur förutsättningar och tekniska aspekter påverkar småföretagens inställning till ett införande av en EDI-lösning. För att finna svar på våra frågeställningar utför vi en kvalitativ studie som baserar sig på en triangulering av tre metoder (observation, tidigare studier och intervjuer).Vår empiriska studie bygger på fyra urvalsgruppers syn på EDI och de möjligheter som dessa anser att en EDI-lösning medför.Vi har genom vår studie funnit att det finns goda möjligheter för småföretag att använda sig av EDI. Det finns webbaserade lösningar såväl som affärssystem med stöd för EDI, vilka lämpar sig för småföretag.

This essay contains a comparative analysis of Erik Olin Wrights Marxist class analysis and Michael Hardt and Antonio Negris post-Marxist class analysis as presented in their books ?Empire? and ?Multitude: War and democracy in the age of Empire?. I discuss the shift in analytical focus from state level to global level that Hardt and Negri's analysis represent and the ensuing relevance of this for contemporary class analysis. The essay also address the challenge and implications posed to class analysis by the ever increasing economic globalization, from a material production to an ever growing immaterial service economy and the decrease in state power in controlling capital and labor movement. I propose that analytical understanding of class conflict help us to a better understanding of the mechanisms and dynamics that generate social and economical inequalities and that an updated Marxist class analysis still have much to contribute to our understanding to how these issues not only shape our society but also our capacity to counteract them..
