The aim of the following thesis is to examine if the ideology behind the copyright laws of today poses a threat to creativity and the cultural heritage. The organizations Association of American Publishers and Authors Guild are subject to an ideology- analysis which seeks to examine their ideological views on copyright and the possible threat to creativity such a view brings. The conflict between the two organizations and Google Book Search is used as a context where the ideology is being brought to light. Stanford Law School professor, Lawrence Lessigs work is used as theory and an alternative to the examined view on copyright. The result suggests that the organizations see copyright as the only effective incentive to creation and therefore they think stronger intellectual property laws are needed.

I en föränderlig omvärld är det nödvändigt för organisationer att utvecklas och förändras för att delta i samhällets utveckling. Vid en förändring är det viktigt för ledningen att använda sig av kommunikation som ett redskap för att öka möjligheten att uppnå en framgångsrik förändring.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att med utgångspunkt i en empirisk studie, avseende anställdas uppfattning av kommunikation mellan ledning och anställda vid ett förändringsarbete, vidareutveckla en analysmodell för organisationsförändring.Metod: Den metod som använts i studien är av kvalitativ karaktär och består av intervjuer av anställda som har varit med om olika förändringar inom olika organisationer.Resultat: Genom den empiriska undersökningen tillsammans med teorigenomgången visar resultaten att en organisationsförändring medför olika reaktioner, både positiva och negativa, hos de anställda. Studiens resultat visar även att det är viktigt att använda sig av en kommunikationsstrategi genom hela förändringsprocessen. Med hjälp av denna strategi kan de anställdas negativa reaktioner reduceras och de positiva förstärkas. Vidare framgår det i resultatet att individen i en organisation har en avgörande roll för hur effektiv förändringsarbetet blir.

This thesis investigates and emphasises on the way students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization into their profession as police officers and the creation of profession identity. The scientist?s main questions are: In what way do the students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization process into the police profession? What role does the organisation play in the socialization process of the police students? How do the students develop their police identity? Which qualities are encouraged? The study is based on qualitative interviews with nine police students, performed in groups of three. Group theory, role theory, and organization theory are applied to the material to provide an understanding through which it is possible to understand the process of socialization. The study shows that there seems to be patterns in the description of a professional identity.

The European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aims toenhance and standardize sustainability reporting to support the green transition. While the public sector is expected to lead in sustainability, the application of CSRD within Swedish municipalities is fragmented. Many municipally owned companies fall below reporting thresholds individually, creating a transparency gap despite the municipal group often exceeding these thresholds collectively. This discrepancy raises moral and strategic questions regarding public accountability and the effective utilization of the framework. This thesis investigates the rationale for the proactive adoption of CSRD principles bySwedish municipalities, irrespective of formal legal requirements.

Today many companies are using advertising agencies in marketing. That makes the advertising agencies responsible for delivering their clients messages and values to the final customer. Therefore it is very important that communication between an advertising agency and their client works in a way that they have similar marketing goals, despite all the factors that may distract this communication.The object of this essay is to study communication between advertising agencies and their clients, especially when it comes to setting up goals and that way highlight the problems that may occur and to make both the advertising agencies and their clients understand the importance of successful communication.We have done our research by interviewing representatives from advertising agencies and clients to advertising agencies. The interviews have given us some understanding on the subject which we have based our theories on, so we have used an inductive and hermeneutic approach to the subject.By modifying the theories we chose from the beginning and adapting them to the results of our research we have tried to show the advertising agencies and their clients the importance of effective and reliable communication between them. We also want to highlight the problems that may occur in the communication and give advice that hopefully can be used to improve the communication.The communication seems to work well and so does, according to our interviewees the co-operation overall.

Vi fick av företaget Cardo i uppdrag att analysera deras mentorprogram, vilket ingick i deras managementprogram, CIMP 2005. Då deltagarna hade olika bakgrund och erfarenhet och därmed olika förutsättningar, bestod vårt uppdrag av att analysera och finna eventuella skillnader mellan deltagare som fått utbildning och handledning jämfört med dem som inte fått detta. Vårt syfte var att med utgångspunkt i deltagarnas upplevelser av mentorprogrammet, analysera deltagarnas reflektiva lärande, utifrån både ett adept- och mentorperspektiv. Med denna utgångspunkt valde vi att använda oss av ett kvalitativt angreppssätt med en empirisk och en teoretisk del. Den empiriska delen inleddes med en kort e-postintervju till samtliga deltagare.

Uppsatsen bygger på en kvalitativ intervjustudie med elever i år 9, i syfte att få dessa elevers syn på vad framgång är och vad det innebär att vara framgångsrik, samt vilken roll skolan spelar för att nå framgång och att bli framgångsrik. Resultaten har ställts mot relevanta utbildningssociologiska och pedagogiska teorier. Studiens resultat visar att framgång är när man når de egna målen, att betygen är viktiga för att komma in på det gymnasieval man gör, men att det finns centrala förmågor och kompetenser som betygen inte mäter. Sådana förmågor/kompetenser är t.ex. förmågan att skapa relationer.

Title: Creativity and blockings: Non-musicians? experiences of music making The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the ability of music-making can benefit from and/or be inhibited by extra-musical factors, such as one's own or other people's opinions, criticism, prejudice and values. An experiment was carried out, where 10 nonmusicians were instructed to solve a compositional problem (writing pieces of music to a picture) which had been expressed in two different ways, one of which (A) was intended to block creativity and the other (B) to facilitate the creative process. All subjects also had to answer a questionnaire, where their experiences in connection with the task and their attitudes towards music and composition were mapped. The result was that all subjects succeeded in composing one or more pieces of music, regardless of which instruction they had been given.

The purpose of this thesis has been to investigate the effect of introducing the qualitystandard ISO 9001:2000 at Metso Paper Service in Sundsvall. The investigation has been focused on implementation of the new method of work, Continuous improvements. The implementation has been studied in a case study with both a qualitative and quantitative method. Continuous Improvements is a way of working focused on continuously increasing the efficiency and having the purpose of achieving the formulated goals. Med hjälp av denna vetenskapliga essä undersöker jag hur man kan uppmärksamma och värna leken och glädjen i musicerandet med förskolebarn. Detta belyser jag inte enbart ur barnens perspektiv utan även ur mitt eget och mina kollegors. Med hjälp av berättelser från min vardag på förskolan och utifrån min praktiska kunskap, ger jag en bild av hur detta kan te sig. Dessa berättelser är ett fundament för mina vidare reflektioner. Vad lek och leklust är skärskådar jag genom att bena upp begreppen i mindre beståndsdelar.

Young men who commit sexual abuse is a complex topic. This study is based on litterature on the subject and the material is processed through a qualitative content analysis. The study aims to study how the litterature describes the reasons why young men commit sexual abuse. It also aims to explore what is described to be effective treatment of young men who committed sexual abuse. The study found that most of the young men who commit sexual abuse comes from families where violence and psycohological abuse occurs. Many have themselves been victims of sexual abuse.

When the emissions from the diesel trucks today accounts for a large part of the total emissions from the road traffic, the trend with a more extensive use of diesel trucks for transportation will therefore lead to increasing carbondioxide emissions to the atmosphere. Because of the fact that technical progress in the form of optimized engines and shifts in the means of transport sometimes result in even greater emission levels, other solutions to this problem must be studied to decrease the emissions of carbondioxide from the diesel trucks. The purpose of the thesis is to show how a decrease of the carbondioxide emissions from diesel trucks in Sweden can be achieved in a costeffective way by the use of a carbondioxide tax and a differentiated vehicle tax. The method used in order to fullfill the purpose of the thesis is studies of literature, mainly of public government reports. Literature of enviromental economics will be used to show the need of a tax and how to determine the dynamic effective carbondioxide tax in steady-state.

During the last couple of years it has been more important to reduce the driving on the field to prepair the soil after ploughing. The machine costs are high so it is necessary to be effective. To reach a pleasant soilbed directly after ploughing is sometimes possible on easier soils but heavier clay soils always need more tillages. There is a lot of equipment mounted on the ploughs on the market, for example Furrow Cracker and Furrow presses, which makes a pleasant soilbed on easier soils. The last year Överum and Kverneland have presented knives which are mounted on the wing or moulboard.
