Georadar, GPR, används idag inom en mängd olika områden: för kartering av sprickor och kaviteter i tunnlar, undersökning av grundvattennivåer i grusåsar, planering för losshållning ur berg i naturstenstäkter mm. Metoden är enkel att använda och lämnar inga spår efter sig i naturen. Informationen som georadarn ger lämpar sig även mycket väl vid planerandet av grus- och bergtäkt. Detta är idag något som dock ej sker i någon större utsträckning. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka möjligheterna att använda sig utav georadar vid prospektering av grus- och bergtäkter samt att ge en enkel beskrivning av hur en georadar fungerar.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to analyse the reading- and writing-approaches: the LTG-method and the whole language-theory. The attention is to perform a comparative literate-study to distinguish their similarities and differences, and examine which one of the approaches that is most clearly anchored in the syllabus of the subject Swedish. The starting-point of the study is the questions: Which similarities respectively differences have the LTG-method and the whole language-theory? Which one of these theories is most clearly anchored in the syllabus of the subject Swedish? The study has shown that both the whole language-theory and the LTG-method can anchor in the syllabus for Swedish. However the whole language-theory has stronger hold in the syllabus, as the whole language emphasises the meaning of literature for reading- and writing-learning, and considers the pupils reflection during their learning-process and conquered knowledge-goal.

The invasive species raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) is currently under establishment Sweden and it is vital to discover invading individuals to prevent colonization. The use of wildlife cameras to discover dispersing raccoon dogs have been implemented in the north-European raccoon dog management program. In this study, I test the ability of four commercially available scent lures to attract raccoon dogs to camera stations. The study was conducted in the Åland Islands where raccoon dogs are abundant and the results could improve the effectiveness of the camera stations used in the program. I used 12 sites with five camera stations in each and tested the four lures and one control with no lure in each site.

Den kvantitativa metoden valdes eftersom vi ansåg att en enkätundersökning med ett stort urval av auktoriserade revisorer var lämpligt för att få ett brett underlag till vår primärdata. För att få förståelse i ämnet har studien även inslag av den kvalitativa metoden. Vi skickade ut enkätundersökningen till auktoriserade revisorer i två av de stora revisionsbyråerna, Grant Thornton och SET-Revision. Slutsats                              Vår slutsats var att de faktorer som spelade in är många när det gäller kvinnors avancemang.

Syfte: Avsikten med denna undersökning är att studera hur pedagoger arbetar med Rydaholmsmetoden, samt ta reda på deras erfarenheter av arbetet med denna lästränings- och läsutvecklingsmetod. Frågeställningarna utöver huvudfrågan är, vad som har betydelse i arbetet med metoden, vilka elever den tillämpas på, om metoden passar alla elever oavsett karaktären av lässvårigheter och vilka fördelar och nackdelar anses metoden ha jämfört med andra metoder.Teori/Metod: Undersökningen innehåller 11 intervjuer med olika pedagoger inom grundskolor i södra Sverige. I intervjuerna har använts halvstrukturerade och öppna frågor som spelats in. Svaren har analyserats genom utskrift, genomläsningar och funderingar på innebörder. Empirin har kopplats till frågeställningarna i studien.

The aim of the following thesis is to examine if the ideology behind the copyright laws of today poses a threat to creativity and the cultural heritage. The organizations Association of American Publishers and Authors Guild are subject to an ideology- analysis which seeks to examine their ideological views on copyright and the possible threat to creativity such a view brings. The conflict between the two organizations and Google Book Search is used as a context where the ideology is being brought to light. Stanford Law School professor, Lawrence Lessigs work is used as theory and an alternative to the examined view on copyright. The result suggests that the organizations see copyright as the only effective incentive to creation and therefore they think stronger intellectual property laws are needed.

Inom en stor del av all systemutveckling sker testerna av systemet som sista punkt innan systemet sjösätts. Testdriven utveckling är en systemutvecklingsmetod där testerna istället skrivs först och också är det som driver utvecklingen framåt.Metoden höjs till skyarna av vissa och avfärdas omedelbart som onödigt omständig av andra. Vi vill med denna uppsats undersöka hur det ser ut i verkligheten och vilka faktorer som påverkar användandet, inlärningen och inställningen till testdriven utveckling.Vi genomförde intervjuer på tre stycken Örebrobaserade organisationer och tittade utifrån ramverket method-in-action på vilka faktorer som påverkade användningen och varför.Vi fann att utvecklarna närmade sig testdriven utveckling på väldigt olika sätt och grundade sin inställning mycket beroende på tidigare erfarenhet och inlärning ? oavsett hur lång eller kort den varit. Utvecklarna förväntas ofta bedriva självstudier utanför arbetstid ? något som inte alltid funkar som kunskaputvecklingsform då tiden utanför jobbet ser olika ut beroende på var i livet man är.

Denna rapport tar upp problemen kring en DVD- och VHS produktion där en kamera har använts vid tre olika föreställningar, för att i redigeringen sedan ge sken av att ha varit flera kameror vid ett tillfälle. Arbetet är utfört åt manskören ?Decibello? i Stockholm, och är en dokumentation av deras deltagande i en stor julkonsert i Berwaldhallen. Målet är att skapa en produktion åt denna kör, och samtidigt utröna om det är praktiskt och ekonomiskt försvarbart att använda metoden med endast en kamera för att dokumentera en händelse som upprepas flera gånger, istället för att använda flera kameror vid ett tillfälle. Rapporten tar i kronologisk ordning upp de problem som uppstått, och visar hur det har lösts eller kringgåtts.

This thesis investigates and emphasises on the way students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization into their profession as police officers and the creation of profession identity. The scientist?s main questions are: In what way do the students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization process into the police profession? What role does the organisation play in the socialization process of the police students? How do the students develop their police identity? Which qualities are encouraged? The study is based on qualitative interviews with nine police students, performed in groups of three. Group theory, role theory, and organization theory are applied to the material to provide an understanding through which it is possible to understand the process of socialization. The study shows that there seems to be patterns in the description of a professional identity.

The European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aims toenhance and standardize sustainability reporting to support the green transition. While the public sector is expected to lead in sustainability, the application of CSRD within Swedish municipalities is fragmented. Many municipally owned companies fall below reporting thresholds individually, creating a transparency gap despite the municipal group often exceeding these thresholds collectively. This discrepancy raises moral and strategic questions regarding public accountability and the effective utilization of the framework. This thesis investigates the rationale for the proactive adoption of CSRD principles bySwedish municipalities, irrespective of formal legal requirements.

Today many companies are using advertising agencies in marketing. That makes the advertising agencies responsible for delivering their clients messages and values to the final customer. Therefore it is very important that communication between an advertising agency and their client works in a way that they have similar marketing goals, despite all the factors that may distract this communication.The object of this essay is to study communication between advertising agencies and their clients, especially when it comes to setting up goals and that way highlight the problems that may occur and to make both the advertising agencies and their clients understand the importance of successful communication.We have done our research by interviewing representatives from advertising agencies and clients to advertising agencies. The interviews have given us some understanding on the subject which we have based our theories on, so we have used an inductive and hermeneutic approach to the subject.By modifying the theories we chose from the beginning and adapting them to the results of our research we have tried to show the advertising agencies and their clients the importance of effective and reliable communication between them. We also want to highlight the problems that may occur in the communication and give advice that hopefully can be used to improve the communication.The communication seems to work well and so does, according to our interviewees the co-operation overall.

Aggressivitet och utagerande beteenden hos barn är ett växande problem med konsekvenser både på individ och på samhällsnivå. Det finns idag evidensbaserade behandlingsmetoder som förebygger och behandlar barns utagerande beteendeproblem men forskningen visar att få barn får tillgång till dem. Föräldraträning är den metod som har starkast forskningsstöd. Studiens syfte är att med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer ge en bild av behandlares erfarenhet och upplevelse av ?De otroliga åren?, ett manualbaserat föräldraträningsprogram inom Barn och ungdomspsykiatrin samt att beskriva hur det tillämpats.

Antioxidanter är kemiska ämnen som är kapabla till att förhindra oxidation av andra molekyler. Dessa ämnen återfinns i djur- och växtriket och tycks ha en skyddande effekt på cellvävnad genom att motverka skadliga oxidativa reaktioner. Antioxidanter används bland annat industriellt som tillsater i livsmedel och andra produkter i syfte att förhindra oxidativ degradering och bibehålla näringsvärdet i livsmedel. I vindruvor återfinns höga koncentrationer av naturliga antioxidanter, främst i form av fenoliska ämnen. På grund av att vinindustrin bidrar till stora mänger avfall, främst i form av druvrester, är det önskevärt att hitta en effektiv metod för att återvinna fenoliska antioxidanter från avfallet.I detta arbete användes lösningsmedel-extraktion för att extrahera fenoliska ämnen från pressrester av röda vindruvor av varianten Tempranillo.

The purpose of this thesis has been to investigate the effect of introducing the qualitystandard ISO 9001:2000 at Metso Paper Service in Sundsvall. The investigation has been focused on implementation of the new method of work, Continuous improvements. The implementation has been studied in a case study with both a qualitative and quantitative method. Continuous Improvements is a way of working focused on continuously increasing the efficiency and having the purpose of achieving the formulated goals. This is often accomplished by the organisation carrying out the changing process to a great extent in small but efficient teams.

På grund av stora stadsbränder under slutet av 1800-talet tilläts inga höga bostadshus med trästomme i Sverige fram till 1994. De byggnadsstadgar som innebar förbud mot att bygga högre än 2 våningar med trästomme ersattes 1994 med brandskyddskrav. I och med det fick flervåningshus med trästomme byggas. Vid byggande av flervåningshus krävs ett fungerande stabiliserande system och stabilisering mot horisontalkrafter. Ett sätt att stabilisera är genom skivverkan.
