Rational Unified Process (RUP) är en systemutvecklingsmetod som tillhandahåller ett modifierbart tillvägagångssätt för hur man skall fördela uppgifter och ansvar inom ett systemutvecklingsprojekt. Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka om RUP verkligen bidrar till framgångsrik systemutveckling, och i så fall även till att identifiera de vitalaste faktorer som lett till denna framgång. Fokus har legat på processkvalitet och genom en enkätundersökning, samt kvalitativa intervjuer med användare, har vi kunnat fastställa att metoden faktiskt bidrar till framgångsrik systemutveckling. De mest väsentliga bakomliggande framgångsfaktorerna som undersökningen har identifierat, är RUPs riktlinjer för produktion av dokumentation, konfigureringsmöjligheter av utvecklingsprocessen, stödet för projektledning, samt det iterativa tillvägagångssättet vid utveckling..

The basic view on children has change radically in the swedish society during the last century. From beeing seen as ruled by internal evil powers that only church could help controling later on the children should be brought up as citizen well-behaved and capable of work with help of the state's control. Today we see the child as competent and equal, and through Swedens adoption of the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child in year 1990, Sweden as a country undertakes itself to always see to the child´s greatest in all decision-making process concerning the child and also vouch for that the rights stated in the convention are beeing fulfild.Working with the convention in a such way that it's intention becomes reality in educational activities requires instruments for the pedagogues. During the years between 1980 and 1990 a number of different methods and programmes were developed with staring-points in the interplay between the child and the adult.

Syftet med denna studie är att uppmärksamma och synliggöra fritidshemmets material för att öka barnens intresse för matematik. Studien tar även upp hur pedagogerna stimulerar barnen lärande och utveckling i det matematiska tänkandet. Pedagogerna intervjuades med öppna frågor för att ta tillvara deras individuella åsikter. Resultaten presenteras i olika delkapitel. Ur resultatet framkom att samtliga pedagoger använder sig av fritidshemmets material och aktiviteter för att hjälpa barnen att utveckla sitt matematiska tänkande.

This bachelor thesis is intended to point out differences within the supervisors? role and contribute in making the role more attractive. At present the information about how the supervisors? perspective varies on the supervisors? role and the introduction to it depending on work experience and education is unknown. Further it was investigated why the supervisors? role is seen as an entrance to the building industry and how to develop the role to encourage the supervisors to stay longer within it.In the collection of data we have been interviewing supervisors and studying literature.

Information overload är ett stort problem, många organisationer lider av dess konsekvenser och medvetenheten om dessa problem är hög. Ändå så finns problemet kvar, och verkar bli alltmer påtagligt. I följande uppsats ämnar vi att presentera varför detta är så, genom ett arbete kring sambandet mellan organisationers medvetenhet om Information overload och de åtgärder som vidtas mot problemet. För att åstadkomma detta har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med informanter för att komma till kärnan av denna problematik. Det vi fann var att trots att organisationerna är väl medvetna om fenomenet och problemen förknippade med det så var bara en del av de tillgängliga åtgärderna vidtagna, och det som faktiskt var gjort var av en begränsad karaktär.

Syftet med rapporten är att utvärdera och jämföra två standarder, AATCC Test method 198-2011: Horizontal Wicking of Textiles och AATCC Test method 197-2011: Vertical Wicking of Textiles. Standarderna publicerades år 2011 av American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists. Standarderna mäter wicking, det vill säga, med vilken hastighet som vätska transporteras genom textil, med en horisontell och en vertikal testmetod. Hastigheten anges i olika enheter beroende på standard, enheten för AATCC Test method 197-2011: Vertical Wicking of Textiles är mm/s och AATCC Test method 198-2011: Horizontal Wicking of Textiles anges i mm2/s. This work deals with the introductory course for immigrants (Introduktionskurs för invandrare ? IVIK) in the Swedish municipalities. I have studied how the participants in this education are brought into a Swedish understanding of religion, both in the formal SO (social studies) and when it comes to informal transferring of values.I have interviewed teachers and school leaders, interviews which I have then analysed.To understand the educational environment, I have used Antonio Gramsci´s theory of hegemony, as I perceive it, as well as Michel Foucault´s ideas of power and knowledge.I have found that fostering into a ?Swedish? view on religion appears in the education, implicitly as well as explicitly, though the informants tend to have an ambivalent opinion as to how this should be carried out, and to which extent..

Abstract This research is about outdoor education as a pedagogical method, and its purpose is to find out six teachers thoughts about outdoor learning, and their experiences about this method.Many philosophers and advocates for the outdoor education claims that learning is best acquired when children uses all their senses and that school subjects that are thought in the classrooms also can be thought outdoors.  Studies have shown that children´s health and learning ability increase when they are thought outdoors.Interviews and observations have been done.My questions are: How do the teachers practice outdoor education in their classes and what is the result? Which subjects do they use in outdoor education? This thesis is the result of the class Examensarbete, 15 credits of the mechanical engineering program at Halmstad University. The class represents the final part of the program with the aim to attain a Bachelor of Science. It´s a project made during the spring 2014 in collaboration with Alutrade AB and ScanBox Thermo Products AB.The assignment is to develop a new transportation trolley for ScanBox. The aim is to complement their range with a product that opens up to new markets. That set new demands for materials and also manufacturing- and assembly methods.

In this essay I have looked more closely at different means of grinding wood prior to the mass production and total dominance of the sandpaper in recent times as there is virtually no information to be found about this. I have also done a few replicas of how early sandpapers might have looked and as a part of creating these replicas I have also tested diffrent types of early glues. The conclusion of it all is that all the alternative grinding materials tested workd virtually as well as modern sandpaper, with some reservations. And the replicas, although rough, worked mostly well despite being constructed with simplicity in mind. This indicates that an artisan could easily construct sandpapers if he so wished..

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

The purpose of the study is to get a deeper understanding in how the teachers work withthe students during the pedagogic meal. This by observing teachers during the schoollunchand see which pedagogic activities takes place. The paper intends to investigatehow teachers relate to, and act according to the guidelines that are applicable to theeducational meal by both the Swedish government and the schools.The study was conducted with the help of observations studies in two elementaryschools. The two municipalities looks different on the pedagogic meal. At both schoolsthe survey was conducted in the school canteen.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka förekomsten av de matematiska kompetenserna i läroböcker för Matematik A. Centralt i studien är de sex matematiska kompetenser, som Palm et al. (2004) analyserat fram ur de nationella styrdokumenten. Dessa kompetenser är: kommunikationskompetens, modelleringskompetens, resonemangskompetens, begreppskompetens, problemlösningskompetens och algoritmkompetens. För att nå syftet genomfördes en analys av uppgifter i två läroböcker för Matematik A.Undersökningens resultat visar att alla sex matematiska kompetenser finns representerade i läroböckernas uppgifter.
