Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om forumspel kan användas som ett pedagogiskt verktyg i konfliktlösande syfte i en elevgrupp samt är i enlighet med det mål som finns beskrivet i Lpo94: ?Att varje elev utvecklar sin förmåga att göra och uttrycka medvetna etiska ställningstaganden grundade på kunskaper och personliga erfarenheter?.  Undersökningen är en kvalitativ fallstudie där aktionsforskningens modell utgör forskningsstrategin. Urvalet i undersökningen består av en homogen integrerad årskurs 1-2 klass. Resultatet från undersökningen visar att forumspel är ett användbart pedagogiskt verktyg i syfte att lösa konflikter.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka teaterlärares didaktiska syn på ämnet teater i gymnasieskolan och vilka faktorer som påverkar lärarnas arbete i deras strävan att nå sina pedagogiska visioner i praktiken. Undersökningen sker utifrån följande frågeställningar: Vilka pedagogiska visioner har teaterlärarna för sin undervisning i ämnet teater på gymnasieskolan? Vilka faktorer påverkar lärarna i deras strävan att nå sina pedagogiska visioner? Studien bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer och ett fokussamtal med tre gymnasielärare i teater. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten i undersökningen är sociokulturell teori. I analysen av intervjuerna ställs resultaten mot tidigare forskning med fokus på perspektiv på teater och drama.

Jag har alltid varit intresserad av att läsa böcker och tycker det är viktigt att läsa för barn. Att läsa tror jag är betydelsefullt för barnens språkutveckling. Syftet med mitt examensarbete var att ta reda på hur man arbetar med sagoläsning och muntligt berättade ute på förskolorna. Samtidigt ville jag veta om sagoläsning påverkar språkutvecklingen.Jag valde att genomföra en kvalitativ undersökning med enkätfrågor som jag skickade till personal på sex förskolor. Jag fick tillbaka alla sex enkätsvaren och resultatet visade att man arbetar mycket med sagor och berättande ute på förskolorna.

This report documents the process of designing a laboratory exercise in Fourier analysis at Vetenskapens Hus (House of Science) in Stockholm. The lab is designed for high school students studying science or technical education. It focuses on the physicalunderstanding and mathematical description of sound, in particular music. A model of such a lab is presented in this work; containing a review of the mathematical theory, summary of educational research in the field, descriptions of the design process and of the investigativework that led to the final result. The designed material for the lab includes developed computer programs, visit leader tutorial and description for teachers. .

The purpose of our study was to examine how three teachers and four students relate to the program "Fem myror" in teaching. We have been through qualitative interviews with two teachers and one special teacher received a detailed picture of how their literacy programs made in relation to the "Fem myror." Qualitative interviews have also been made with four students, a boy and three girls, in order to examine their attitude to the program. From educators? interview answers, we think we can say that the theory and practice conform to what we read in the literature may be associated with what we observed during our time in the business. The study has shown that all teachers believe the program will be a good educational tool to take to read and write.

Mitt syfte med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur elever och deras lärare värderar estetiskt arbete och hur det estetiska arbetet fungerar i praktiken. I uppsatsen belyser jag estetiskt arbete som ämne och metod och jämför styrdokument med forskning och mitt undersökningsresultat. Jag har på ett kvalitativt sätt intervjuat fyra elever i en årskurs fem samt deras lärare för att analysera resultatet utifrån urvald kunskapsbakgrund, mitt syfte och mina frågeställningar i uppsatsen. Resultaten visar att eleverna upplever de enklast mätbara ämnena som viktigast och ser främst estetisk kunskap relevant ifall den i framtiden ska praktiseras inom ett yrke eller för eget behov. Drama uppfattas främst som retorisk färdighetsträning där fokus på resultat skuggar arbetsprocessen.

Abstract This essay is about girls that have chosen a gender atypical education on a gymnasia level. Since we are living in a society that is still today gender segregated in both working life as well as educational area, we find it interesting that it still exist an paradox which leads us to the question ?why? those girls and boys, woman and man choose so differently. We are not aiming towards study how many girls that have chosen a gender atypical education but rather how these girls that are on the construction program in one of Stockholm?s gymnasium have deliberated and what it is that has influenced them.

With a background in the 17th century?s English political events, but also the ideological scene of that time, the purpose of this essay is to analyze two concepts, freedom and happiness, in Thomas Hobbes?s political writings. Hobbes is well known for his political works, mostly for Leviathan, where his thoughts about government and religion are exposed. But what does he say about freedom? And what about happiness? The study shows that Hobbes?s political thought is quite original from this aspect too.

This paper deals with the use of Internet at Swedish public libraries. The author asks whether public libraries should or should not limit access to information available on the Internet. Starting from the American discussion, concerning Internet at public libraries, the author shows the Swedish attitudes. The paper demonstrates that many Swedish public libraries have adopted rules forbidding retrieval of certain kinds of information, such as hard-core pornography and racist propaganda. The persons in charge of such actions claim that public libraries should provide high-quality educational literature and should not spread mass-produced, provocative information.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how propaganda has been used by two dictatorships, namely Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union under the leadership of Josef Stalin. By examining a number of propaganda posters and paintings, we aim to find similarities as well as differences in how the two nations attempted to create imagined communities amongst their people. While conducting this examination of the propaganda material, we have acquired and used some of the ideas of Benedict Anderson, who has coined a concept that he calls ?Imagined Communities?. In conclusion, it is established that the most obvious similarity is that both leaders are heavily included in their propaganda material, both pictured and mentioned in text.

AbstractIn the research made on the subject, homework, there are a lot of differences in the opinions regarding the meaning of homework/home assignments in the educational system today. Do they fill a purpose or do they only create social rifts and injustice.For my essay I chose to find out what attitude senior-level teachers have towards homework and what meaning it is considered to have on the students learning ability.My research is based on interviews with six senior-level teachers who all teach different subjects.The results showed that all of the interviewed teachers used some kind of home assignments in their teaching.Ultimately, the conclusion I reached is that the homework should be well prepared and given a lot of thought. The homework should also be interesting and meaningful to the students to promote the learning process..

A pilot-study was used to investigate, types of assistance, assessed needs, outcomes and effects of special-needs assistance given to a subsample of compulsory school pupils in an effort to develop an evaluation strategy for identifying educational impacts of specific special-needs inputs.  Preliminary results indicate a tendency for postive outcomes for most pupils in the pilot group (n = 11) but also that many pupils have residual difficulties.  Pupils with residual difficulties mostly required special education asssitance with Maths, English or Swedish.  More pupils also needed support with behavioral difficulties.  More research and an expanding knowledge base is required in order to effectively evaluate outcomes of teacher support.  Schools need help in devising different methods of assistance and particularly for pupils with behavioral difficulties..

Uppsatsen redovisar en utvärdering av AT läkarnas introduktion på akutmottagningen på Medicinkliniken i Jönköping. AT läkarna erbjuds en frivillig introduktion på akutmottagningens akutrum bestående av ett rollspel och en genomgång av maskiner och hjälpmedel och viktiga delar av akutmottagningen. Utvärderingen är gjord som en anonym nätbaserad enkät. Grundtanken med rollspelet och maskingenomgången är att möjliggöra för AT läkarna att få en positiv bild av arbetet på akutmottagningen och deras egna kunskaper och svaren i enkäten kan tolkas som att detta syfte med introduktionen uppfyllts. De svarande AT läkarna är genomgående positiva till rollspelet och endast två av fjorton svarande är negativa till maskingenomgången.

Hearing is considered to be the most important sense for the communication between people. Several studies have shown that hearing loss can lead to deterioration in quality of life, reduced social activities, feelings of alienation and hence the increasing incidence of depression symptoms.An early audiological rehabilitation is a prerequisite for proper communication among people with hearing loss. Knowledge has been shown to be of great importance and structured learning and individually targeted approach can be expected to facilitate the audiological rehabilitation.The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of an educational effort for people with hearing loss where the effort was made in the distance within the audiological rehabilitation and was followed-up by professional phone support, through a randomized controlled study.The study group consisted of 69 hearing aid users who were randomized by an independent person into two groups, an intervention group and a control group. The intervention group (n = 33) had access to the book "When the sounds are weaker - on hearing and hearing aids". The group received weekly topic-based information related to the different chapters of the book, in five rounds.
