Den här uppsatsen handlar om vilka estetiska uttrycksformer och medier som pedagoger väljer att arbeta med och varför. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att belysa vilka estetiska uttrycksformer som är mer eller mindre framträdande i förskolan. Detta för att vi som pedagoger medvetet ska kunna skapa en verksamhet där barnen erbjuds möten med varierande estetiska uttrycksformer. Vi har utfört kvalitativa intervjuer med nio pedagoger, från tre förskolor, för att ta reda på vilken betydelse de anser att arbete med estetiska uttrycksformer har för att stimulera barnens lärande och utveckling samt förmåga att kommunicera. Under analysen av empirin har vi sett på estetiska uttrycksformer ur ett socialisationsperspektiv och hantverkstradition, ett utvecklings-perspektiv och personlig uttryckstradition samt en erfarenhetstradition.

The aim of this studie is to describe, analyse and understand the benefits and disadvantages with using digital tools in education. In my qualitative method three primary school teachers were interviewed about how digital tools should be used in educational purposes, also what benefits/disadvantages they could see with the investment of digital tools in their school. I also did observations in two classrooms and interviewed a school politican to get a wider perspective. The collected information identifies that some benefits of using digital tools is the contribution to a more equivalent education, more opportunites for cooperations and that fewer pupils have to struggle with their fine motor skills when producing a text. Some of the disadvantages with using the tools is that they breaks sometimes, it´s easy to get dependent and if something happens (like power outage) it´s unusual that schools have a good an action plan.

Abstract My purpose of doing this study is to investigate the culture of delivering education in a strange combination of subjects labelled ?Language choice Swedish/English?. The activity however exists without curriculum, syllabus or certification. I want to put study the problem of delivering an educational activity without national certification. I will use a hermeneutic approach and render properly the headmaster?s, the teachers? and the students? views on the activity in one school.

Master thesis studying the use of multimedia on CD-ROM in a library setting by analysis ofqualitative interviews with nineteen persons.The thesis relates the study to some relevant issues in human-computer interface (HCI) researchand to the commercial market for multimedia CD-ROM products. Three main types ofuse were described by the persons interviewed: recreational, information seeking and usingmultimedia to learn more about using computers. Children and young people interviewed mademost use of the multimedia provided, whereas adults thought it to be less valuable as a sourceof knowledge for them personally.HCI research shows various results of using multimedia for educational purposes. Thecommercial market is dominated by American products which can have a negative effect onthe use of multimedia in Swedish public libraries..

Teachers and special education teachers play a vital role in the creation of a study environment that fosters productivity in students. The current study aims to further expand the knowledge regarding teacher?s perception of common work with developing an optimal study environment within the classroom and the educational institution. In order to achieve this, qualitative interviews have been performed and study results analyzed according Nilholm´s model of the three different perspectives on special education: The critical perspective, the compensatory perspective and the dilemma perspective.The study results show that the concept of order and study environment is not clearly defined among the interviewees. However, the concept appears to presuppose the teacher?s responsibility to create the sense of security and effective study environment to those students who express the wish to educate themselves (Children make the things right only if they have been shown the correct way to do it).

Abstract This study is an evaluation of a development project, seeking to work for entrepreneurial learning, starting from John Hattie's findings on the significant factors for visible learning. The study is based on action research a method together with a questionnaire, focused interviews and observation, by the issue of How do students perceive entrepreneurial learning? The results show that the methodology contributes to a more active learning and greater work satisfaction among students. The results also reinforce the thesis of the formative assessment and the importance of reflection for increased metacognition. The work identifies the project's educational shortcomings and strengths, and lays the foundation for further development towards full implementation of entrepreneurial learning in a secondary activity that works to prepare students with special needs for the labor market..

This paper discusses the feeling of insecurity in educational exhibitions. The study analyzes one exhibition at the museum ?Nordiska Museet? in Stockholm, and strives to answer how the question of spatial factors can influence the feeling of insecurity, and thereby also the information process.The following questions have been addressed: Can we speak of a spatial allocation problem of exhibitions that contain much information? What is the relationship between the exhibition's intention and visitors conduct A model has been designed with influence from wayfinding where the exhibition is divided into basic parts, which allows a detailed study of the exhibition, and of how the parts relate to each other. The research contains spatial analyze, observations as well as interviews.The conclusion is that we, in the scientifically investigated exhibition, can speak of a spatial allocation problem when the information seems to be an overload for the visitor..

Society today is characterized by the transforming effect IT has had, the majority of the activities we perform on a daily basis involves one way or another digital technology. One area which has not yet seen the positive effects of IT is education. Despite the progress of technology, the school education has barely changed since it first saw the light of day. Our goal with this study is to investigate the possibility of implementing Gamification elements in educational environments and examine whether it could increase our young students learning motivation. We believe that this kind of implementation will have a positive effect for these young people since they have been interacting with games since they were small and are familiar with the driving force of a reward system.With this study we want to examine the opportunities and challenges that Gamification implementation brings out in a learning environment and therefore encourage and motivate our young ones to study even harder..

This paper deals with the use of Internet at Swedish public libraries. The author asks whether public libraries should or should not limit access to information available on the Internet. Starting from the American discussion, concerning Internet at public libraries, the author shows the Swedish attitudes. The paper demonstrates that many Swedish public libraries have adopted rules forbidding retrieval of certain kinds of information, such as hard-core pornography and racist propaganda. The persons in charge of such actions claim that public libraries should provide high-quality educational literature and should not spread mass-produced, provocative information.

This study investigates the curriculum for English in Gymnasium class 10 in Baden-Württemberg, Germany and compares it with the Swedish curriculum for English 5. A special focus it put on the politics that decide how the curriculum is written. The German and Swedish curricula for English are quite different, although they have some main points in common. The study includes a textual analysis and observations of English classes. Furthermore, nine teachers of English in Germany are interviewed about their views of the curriculum.

The game QuantoJump is developed in the programming language Java to be an educational game in quantum physics. By illustrating quantum mechanical laws of electron transitions with shapes and colours, QuantoJump hopes to spark interest and create a more intuitive understanding of quantum physics. The result is a game where the player plays as an electron in the outermost shell of an atom, with the goal of getting to the innermost shell. This while not making forbidden jumps by following the laws of electron transitions dictated by quantum physics. The programming of the game was done in the integrated develpoment environment Eclipse.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka språkliga drag som kan tillskrivas manliga respektive kvinnliga rollfigurer i August Strindbergs drama Fröken Julie. Vidare är syftet att undersöka om det finns några skillnader vad gäller talutrymme och känslosamhet mellan kvinnor och män i dramadialogen. Metoden består av en kvalitativ samtalsanalys med inriktning på stilanalys, samt en kvantitativ undersökning av talutrymme och känslosamhet. Resultatet visar en stor mängd generaliserande drag som kan identifieras som könsbundna samt att mannens talutrymme är större än kvinnornas. Undersökningen visar också att graden av känslosamhet i dramat inte enbart är könsbundet.

Syftet med studien är att skapa ett material med fokus på olika matematiska aktiviteter, matematikinnehåll och uttrycksformer.Frågeställningarna för att konkretisera syftet är:? Vilket matematikinnehåll lyfts fram vid genomförandet av lärandeaktiviteterna?? Vilka matematiska aktiviteter synliggörs i de planerade lärande aktiviteterna?? Vilka uttrycksformer använder barn vid genomförandet?För att få svar på frågeställningarna tillämpades aktionsforskning där 14 matematiska lärandeaktiviteter planerades, genomfördes och utvärderas. Barnen som genomförde lärandeaktiviteterna var 4-5-åringar i en förskolaResultatet visar att i dessa lärandeaktiviteter är samtal den uttrycksform som lyfts fram flest gånger, därefter följer lek och drama, rörelse, samt bild och form. Uttrycksformerna sång och musik respektive dans förkom inte alls. Bland de matematiska aktiviteterna har räkna och lokalisera lyfts fram flest gånger och därefter leka, mäta, konstruera och förklara..

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mental illness and socioeconomic factors such as education, age and gender among drug users. Descriptive and ANOVA analysis were performed to 68 structured interviews (Addiction Severity Index basic). Analysis addressed associations between drug usage and level of education, age and gender. Results showed gender differences in self-rated mental health with women drug users rating their mental health lower than men. In addition, there was no association between age, educational level and self-rated mental health.
