Denna uppsats undersöker om prostatacancerscreening är kostnadseffektivt och speciellt studeras patientens oroskänsla vid screeningen. Till grund för uppsatsen ligger ett antal tidigare studier i ämnet och de för frågeställningen viktigaste slutsatserna från dessa belyses. Slutsatsen är att det inte, med säkerhet, går att motivera införandet av allmän prostatacancerscreening. Beroende på antaganden varierar resultaten mellan $8,400 och $145,600 per ytterligare levnadsår, angivet i 1995 års pris. Vidare saknas det fortfarande resultat från stora randomiserade studier som klart visar att screening sänker dödligheten i prostatacancer.

Heart failure is a condition where the heart is incapable of providing adequate blood supply to different organs in the body. The underlying causes of heart failure is some kind of disorder in the heart function, and require careful diagnostics. The basic symptoms that arise from heart failure is difficulty in breathing, that aggravate when lying down, and fatigue. The patients? symptoms and impaired quality of life can be in different stages depending on the severity of the heart failure.

Croatia became an independent country 1991 and has since then strived to reach a democracy level, which can lead to membership of the European Union. The purpose of this essay is on the basis of consolidate democratic perspective to illustrate Croatia?s democratic development.In order to fulfil the aim, I have applied a qualitative text analysis technique. Through analysis of books and documents, data was collected to accommodate a valid result. I have used consolidated democracy, with its five areas (political, civil, economic, legal and bureaucratic), as my theoretical framework to the data, to provide answers and develop an analysis.The conclusions show that the consolidate democracy in Croatia has developed a lot since the independence, and Croatia is on its good way to turn into a democratic state like other West-European countries.

This study explores how online television works and how it is integrated with social media such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs. Through three qualitative interviews with representants from different fields of work regarding online television, we have concluded how online television is being used in Sweden today and concludes with examples of what the future of online television could look like. Representatives from the following companies have been interviewed: SBS Media Group Sweden, Strix Television and Mediamätning i Skandinavien. The use of social media for marketing of online television is a fact for the companies in this study. However, the result of the study shows that theres room for development in the integration between online television and social media.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur två skolor integrerar barn som nyss kommit till Sverige. Vi gjorde en kvalitativ intervjustudie, där två skolor besöktes. På båda skolorna intervjuades en rektor och en pedagog. Dessa två skolor valdes ut på grund av deras mångfald av invandrarbarn. Den ena skolan har ett större antal barn med annan kultur än den andra skolan som har mesta dels svenska barn.

Nödvändigheten att, inom hälso- och sjukvården, välja mellan olika handlingsalternativ grundar sig i knappheten på resurser. I Sverige har läkemedelsutgifterna stigit lavinartat de senaste årtionden. Av denna anledning har debatten om fördelning aktualiserats. Med bakgrund av denna information, har jag gjort en undersökning av Läkemedelsförmåns-nämndens, LFN, arbete gällande subvention av olika läkemedel. Mitt syfte har varit att utröna om nämnden, för att öka rättvisan, kan göra andra avvägningar.

The most common foreign aid is budget support, often a bilateral funds transfer between two countries. The development aid from Sweden to developing countries is a activity thatinvolves a great deal of monetary founds as well as an opportunity to influence the environmental situation in a partner country. It´s also an opportunity to promote Sweden's values in a field like the environment, setting a good example is important. This thesis aims to evaluate Sida´s environmental policy and find out if there in fact is a Environmental Policy Integration Policy (EPI) taking place. EPI is a policyimplementation theory that emphasise the importance of the total integration of the environmental in the organisation as a whole. Abstrakt Syftet med uppsatsen är att empiriskt undersöka om Föreningssparbanken lyckats generera riskjusterad överavkastning genom utgivna aktieindexobligationer. Detta kommer att undersökas genom att räkna ut Sharpe kvoten för respektive aktieindexobligation och jämföra den mot den underliggande tillgångens Sharpe kvot. Undersökningsdata är beräknade på månadsbasis och sträcker sig över drygt tio år för att fånga produkten i upp samt nedgångar på börsen. Vi har med hjälp av vedertagna ekonomiska jämförelsemått undersökt om det går att påvisa någon skillnad i Sharpe kvot för aktieindexobligationerna och dess underliggande tillgång. Resultaten av studien visar att Föreningssparbanken inte lyckats generera en högre riskjusterad avkastning än de underliggande tillgångarna.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka effekten av en split i ett bolags aktie vad gälleravkastning och omsättning i aktiehandeln. Studien är baserad på insamlat datamaterial från 35olika bolag på Stockholmsbörsen som har genomfört en aktiesplit de senaste 5 åren. Vadgäller avkastningen har jag beräknat den faktiska avkastningen i aktien under 30 dagar eftergenomförandet av spliten och jämfört med OMX Stockholm all share index under sammaperiod. En eventuell över- respektive underavkastning har därmed erhållits. Omsättningen iaktiehandeln har jag beräknat som så att jag har jämfört omsättningen i aktien under 15 dagarinnan och 15 dagar efter genomförandet av spliten.

Kreditrisken varierar för olika företag beroende på storlek, vilka säkerheter man kan ställa etc. Ratingbolag har specialiserat sig på att ge företag kreditbetyg som uttrycker den samlade uppfattningen om dess kreditrisk. En sänkning av kreditbetyget medför implicita kostnader, t.ex. sämre kreditvillkor.

The well-being of employees has become a key concept in the rhetoric of the company boards and business literature of today. There is however not much statistic evidence of a connection between economic results and the perceived working climate. This thesis sets out to investigate whether there is a positive correlation between economic results and working climate on a work group level. It also aims to study which specific working climate factors influence the results. In order to meet its purpose this thesis analyzes employee satisfaction questionnaire data and economic results from more than 300 work groups.

The purpose with this essay is to find out how active teachers think about integrate children with the diagnosis autism into the regular school. The method I have used to find out is a qualitative interview, where I have interviewed three teachers of various age and sex.A person with the diagnosis autism has problems with communication, social interaction and the ability to form a conception. Today, we do not know what causes autism, but we do know that it has to do with a neurological disorder. The word integrate means unite or join together as a wholeness. Many children who have a handicap may feel good to participate in a school where the other pupils do not have a handicap.
