Through the entry of web 2.0 the technologies behind web development has changed dramatically. Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) is the umbrella term for different techniques that make it possible to build rich and interactive user interfaces in today?s web browsers. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) describes how common services can be bundled and published so they can be consumed by different systems.The company SYSteam Evolution AB, which has requested this project, wanted a web application that shows a graphical activity chart in order to easier view ongoing projects. The goal for this project is to develop a demo platform that shows how AJAX and SOA can be used to create flexible and reusable applications.

This report describes my degree project. For my degree project I made a demo for a game idea that I've developed, and implemented for use with Xbox 360. The idea was about converting the feeling and gameplay of old 2D side-scrolling platform games into 3D, viewed from a first-person perspective. The Xbox 360 version of the demo was also submitted for the game competition Swedish Game Awards. In the report, I explain this idea more extensive, what software I used to implement it, and how I implemented it. Finally, at the end I clarify the results and discuss fulfilled tasks and future improvements.

Detta arbete avslutar magisterutbildningen inom Industriell design vid Luleåtekniska universitet. Arbetet har utförts på uppdrag av Agency-9, utvecklareav Javabaserade 3D-motorer. De har tekniken för att producera dataspel avtoppklass men ingen grafisk formgivning och produktion, och är i stort behovav att få igång detta. För att visa upp funktionaliteten i deras 3D-motorAgent FX vill de även ta fram ett demo. Metoderna som använts under arbetet baseras på teorierna om systematiskproblembehandling som lärs ut vid Institutionen för arbetsvetenskap, LTU.

På SAAB Aerostructures i Linköping utvecklas och tillverkas delsystem, så som dörrar och skevroder, till kommersiella flygplan åt framförallt Boeing och Airbus. Inom flygindustrin går utvecklingen mot en större användning av kompositmaterial i denna typ av strukturer. För att befästa sin position på marknaden och bygga kunskap kring konstruktion i och tillverkning av kompositmaterial har SAAB startat ett forskningsprojekt kallat GF Demo. Projektet syftar till att ta fram nästa generations kompositstrukturer för civilflygplan, samt att utveckla effektiva produktionsprocesser för detta. En utmaning med konstruktioner i kompositmaterial är den dyra och komplexa tillverkningsprocessen.

When searching for better and more practical interfaces between users and their computers, additional or alternative modes of communication between the two parties would be of great use. This thesis handles the possibilities of using eye and head movements as well as voice input as these alternative modes of communication. One part of this project is devoted to find possible interaction techniques when navigating in a computer interface with movements of the eye or the head. The result of this part is four different controls of an interface, adapted to suit this kind of navigation, combined together in a demo application. Another part of the project is devoted to the development of an application, with voice control as primary input method.

På Ericsson AB i Katrineholm finns ett tekniklaboratorium (Techlab), där den senaste tekniken för GPRS-system finns samlad. Till Ericssons tekniklaboratorium skulle en demo-applikation konstrueras. Applikationen ska illustrera hur en mobiltelefon av typen Ericsson T68 kan skicka en bild via Bluetooth till en LAN nod (BlipC11). Tillståndet består av ett dokument somvisar vilka vägar och broar fordonet får trafikera och vilka regler som gällernär man kör lastbilen.Skogsbolaget Sveaskog startade ett examensarbete med syfte att skapamöjlighet att i realtid presentera för lastbilsföraren vilka vägar och broarsom är en del av transportdispensen. Detta skulle ske genom att utveckla ettkartstöd för lastbilens fordonsdator med anslutning till GPS för attvisualisera dispensdokumentet med de angivna vägsträckorna och broarna.Resultatet av examensarbetet är ett kartstöd som använder tjänster frånArcGIS Online för att presentera geografisk information för användaren.Bakgrundskartan består av en grundkarta från ArcGIS Online. Övergrundkartan ligger ett GIS-skikt med vägar och ett annat skikt med broar.Information om huruvida fordonet för närvarande färdas på en väg somingår i tillståndet eller inte, samt information om regler som gäller för broarpå vägavsnittet, presenteras för föraren i realtid. Purpose: The purpose of this study has been to identify different actors and processes in music recording. We find this interesting since there have been a lot of changes in the music industry over the last years. Our ambition has been to point out different actors and their roles during the advent of recorded music, and identify different features and processes in the creation of music today and in the future. To fulfill our purpose we have had the following research question: What characterize, in a future perspective, the gathered process during the creation of recorded music from idea to delivery and experience?Method: We have used a qualitative approach for this study and we have conducted seven interviews with persons from different areas of the Music Industry and radio.
