Internetadministrerad behandling har i många studier uppvisat samma effektstorlekar som traditionell terapi, men det finns ännu begränsade kunskaper om vilka patienter som lämpar sig bäst för behandling via Internet. Syftet med denna studie var att pröva vilka faktorer som predicerar behandlingsutfall vid Internetadministrerad kognitiv beteendeterapi och Internetadministrerad psykodynamiskt orienterad terapi för generaliserat ångestsyndrom (GAD). Underlag för studien är deltagare från en randomiserad kontrollerad studie (N = 81), vilken jämför effekten av de två behandlingarna med en kontrollgrupp (väntelista). Föreliggande studie omfattar 45 deltagare från de två behandlingsgrupperna. Som huvudutfallsmått beräknades Penn State Worry Questionnaire - residual gain scores, vilket ger ett mått på deltagarnas grad av individuell förändring.

They are characterized as increased frequency and Duration of awakenings, decreased slow-wave sleep, REM-sleep and increase of day-time napping. Depression and lower quality of life are associated with sleep-disturbances. Altogether a significant source of stress for caregivers and an important factor in institutionalization. Non-pharmacological treatment alternatives are rare.Method: Single-case A-B-C design, with non-concurrent multiple baselines, a pilotstudy.Aim: To explore if an educational program on sleep, sleep disturbances and behavioural change directed towards caregivers improved sleep, depression and quality of life in persons with Alzheimer´s disease living at home.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att jämföra larvterapi och konventionella metoder vid behandling av svårläkta sår utifrån följande perspektiv: upprensning av sår, Duration av sårläkning och patienternas upplevelse. Polit & Becks (2006) modell användes vid arbete med denna litteraturstudie. Sökning av relevant litteratur gjordes i tre databas: PubMed, CINAHL och The Cochrane Library. Relevanta artiklar granskades med hjälp av granskningsprotokollerna modifierade av författarna efter Willman (2006). Nio olika studier har undersökts i denna litteraturstudie.

Syfte: Att ta reda på om hästar som utför ett upprepat hårt intervallarbete i backe får stegringar i koncentrationen av cTnI och om så är fallet studera hur snabbt cTnI koncentrationerna normaliseras efter arbete. Material och metod: Elva vältränade varmblodiga travare fick utföra ett arbetstest bestående en uppvärmning i långsam trav (4000m) följt av 7 intervaller i ett tempo av 9 m/s i en 500 meters backe (lutning 24m/500m). Arbetet avslutades med att hästarna fick trava tillbaka till stallet (drygt 2000m) i långsam trav. Blodprov för analys av cTnI togs i vila före arbetet, samt vid 3 och 6 timmar efter arbetstestets slut. Resultat: Alla hästar utom en uppnådde en puls på >200 slag/min i samtliga intervaller.

The study deals with the causes of unjustified differences in pay between women and men in the banking sector. The purpose of this paper has been to examine how a gender project implemented in the private banking organizations from a gender-and implementation perspective. The aim of the project examined is to even unjustified differences in pay between men and women in the banking and finance sector. The main issues are: ? How has the project been implemented and what are the real and perceived results? ? How can the opportunities and barriers to successful implementation course with emphasis on gender? The method used is a qualitative study, where the empirical material consisted of focus group interviews.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to find out in which ways a group of first generation immigrants use Swedish papers and magazines in a public library and which information needs this group has about Swedish society. One important aspect in this essay is integration of immigrants in the Swedish society as a possible effect of newspaper reading. The method used in this study is qualitative. Data is generated through semi-structured interviews.

I denna studie undersöktes hur visuell diskriminationskänslighet för vokalDuration förehåller sig till läppavläsning.  Experimentbatteriet bestod av tre delar: visuell vokalDurationsdiskrimination (VDD), icke?lingvistisk Durationsdiskrimination (ILDD) samt visuell ordidentifikation. VDD och ILDD baserades på en 2AFC?design där uppgiften var att bedöma vilket av två stimuli som presenterades under längst tid.

Lower urinary tract diseases are a common problem in cats all over the world. The symptoms are for example dysuria, pollakuria, stranguria, periuria and hematuria. In approximately two thirds of these cats the underlying cause is not known and the disease is therefore called feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC). We need to know more about the disease to get a consistently effective treatment and prevention. A retrospective study was performed in 50 cats with symptoms of FIC and where other causes of inflammation were ruled out. Data like breed, age, sex, body weight, feeding, therapy and therapeutic results were collected, also if it was an indoor or outdoor cat, Duration of the symptoms, if there was any stress and if the cat was living with another cat.

Among young adults and especially women, psychological issues are common phenomena in the society such as depression, anxiety and stress. Research has shown that physical activity can be a complement for anti-depressant medication. The aim of this review is to examine previous research to find out how physical activity can provide positive effects on overall mood state in particular young women's psychological health. The results of this review is that there are support in the literature of young women that physical activity may enhance mood in studies of depression and anxiety symptoms and small support for the effects on reducing stress. Physical activity with both high intensity and low intensity has shown to have positive effects on depression and anxiety, but the physical activity has to be regular for long-term effects.

The idea to develop  a platform for a PID-controller came from the need to control the temperature in  an espresso machine in a more exact way than a thermostat could perform. In discussions with Syntronic AB the idea developed into PID-control for industrial use. Syntronic AB suggested that the platform should be based on a commercially available processor module to shorten the development time. The suggestion included the use of the microcomputer Raspberry Pi, which supports USB, HDMI, memory card and Ethernet.The work began with establishing a schedule for the 10 weeks of the projects Duration, and after that a system specification listing all functions, implementation and limitations was made. When the foundation of the system specification was done, a preliminary system design took shape.Because of the Raspberry Pi´s lack of Analog-to-Digital converter, a circuit board containing Wheatstone bridges, differential amplifiers and a two channel Analog-to-Digital converter was fabricated.

Definitionen av fysik träning är aktivitet som syftar till att öka den fysiska prestationsförmågan. Fysisk inaktivitet är idag ett stort samhällsproblem. Motivation är en faktor som påverkar en individ i en livsstilsförändring när det gäller fysisk träning. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att utvärdera den fysiska kapaciteten och motivationsnivån hos inaktiva unga vuxna under en åtta veckors träningsperiod.

Marine heatwaves (MHW) have become increasingly common in recent decades due to greenhouse gas emissions that have caused climate change. A marine heatwave is when the sea surface temperature rises, which damage many different ecosystems in the sea. One ecosystem that is sensitive to temperature changes is tropical coral reefs, which are at risk of bleaching during marine heatwaves. Coral bleaching is when its symbionts leave the coral and they lose their color, while also starving to death as they lose their food source. The purpose of this report was therefore to investigate what the connection between marine heatwaves and coral bleaching looks like, and to see if there are any geographical differences.
