Abstract This paper seeks to answer how well the unit managers in a community live up to its responsibility for rehabilitation. What opportunities and obstacles center managers feel that they have in the rehabilitation process and their expertise in rehabilitation are adequate. The essay is based on qualitative, in which six interviews were conducted to help capture the Heads of Unit subjective experiences. Five of the respondents are heads of units in the elderly, and an interview with the rehabilitation coordinator of the municipality. Respondents' comments and relevant literature form the basis for this essay.

What importance is being placed on the use of history textbooks by the secondary teachers? What priorities do the secondary teachers have? How do they deal with student interests? And what is the importance of the secondary teachers? work experience? I have interviewed four secondary teachers with different work experience to complete this thesis. A Dictaphone has been used in all the interviews. Research has shown that textbooks now have a central role in teaching and the lack of alternative materials and reduction of teaching hours has made it difficult to replace. The main conclusions of the thesis are that the history textbook has a dual role depending on the teacher you ask, and that the history book is used differently by the teachers.

Under lågkonjunkturer är det ofta ungdomar som drabbas hårdast på arbetsmarknaden. Ungdomsarbetslösheten i den Europeiska unionen har i och med den senaste finanskrisen ökat dramatiskt och genomsnittet ligger på en nivå över 22 %. Det land som 2011 hade den högst rapporterade ungdomsarbetslösheten bland medlemsstaterna var Spanien, 46,4%, och den lägsta återfanns i Nederländerna med 7,6 %, dessa siffror har fram till mätningar i mars 2012 växt till 51,1% för Spanien och 9,3 % för Nederländerna. Denna uppsats ämnar att utifrån teorier kring utbildningssystem, arbetslöshet och dual marknadsteori jämföra varför stora skillnader i ungdomsarbetslöshet existerar mellan dessa två länder.Genom en deskriptiv studie av de båda ländernas utbildningssystem, arbetsmarknader och arbetsmarknadsåtgärder finner vi stora skillnader mellan länderna, som till viss del kan förklara varför Spaniens ungdomsarbetslöshet är mer än fem gånger så stor som Nederländernas. Vi fann skillnader mellan de båda ländernas utbildningssystem och vilka åtgärdsprogram som införts för att reducera ungdomsarbetslösheten samt att länderna drabbats olika svårt av den senaste recessionen..

The moisture content in 10 deliveries of tree parts and 10 deliveries of wood residues were measured with different methods to analyze the quality of procedure used at Dåvamyran today. At the same time a survey was made on the measure procedures used at heating plants in Sweden The majority of the heating plants in Sweden use weight and moisture content as base for payment but at some plants only volume. The moisture content is usually estimated by drying wood chips in an oven but few plants a visual estimation is used. At few plants moisture content is estimated spectroscopicily. The techniques using near infra read light and other electromagnetic are still at a test stage. The methods of measurement used today are quit unreliable for the individual deliveries and there is a risk for systematic mistakes.

In the European Convention and the EU charter the principle ne bis in idem is provided, which implies that a person can not be tried or punished twice for the same offense. Since the European Convention was incorporated into Swedish law in 1995 the principles application has been discussed in tax law. Several cases have been examined by the European Court and the Supreme Court (HD) in order to determine whether dual punishment has occurred in the national rules concerning tax surcharge, tax crime and accounting fraud. The judicial trials have brought different assessments concerning the matter, which have resulted in a lack of clarity on the application of the principle in Swedish law.The thesis purpose is to clarify whether the principle ne bis in idem is applicable on the relationship between tax surcharge and tax crime, and the relationship between tax surcharge and accounting fraud.The authors' conclusion is that the principle ne bis in idem is applicable on the relationship between tax surcharge and tax crime because both sanctions are considered criminal in nature and concern the same crime, since they are based on substantially the same circumstances. Furthermore, the principle ne bis in idem is considered applicable on the relationship tax surcharge and accounting fraud, because both sanctions are criminal in nature and their circumstances have a connection, therefore they are considered as the same crime..

The key purpose of this research has been trying to understand, and study how assyrian/syriac youth create their identity under the influence of two or several different cultures. We have also looked upon how different factors such as history, religion, language, family and school play a role in the youths identity development.We have used a qualitative method in our study where we have interviewed six assyrian/syriac youth. Because of their Christian faith the assyrian/syriac group has been forced to migrate from their countries to different parts around the world. In the new countries the group has been forced to create and live in a diasporaculture. The city Södertälje in Sweden has developed to become a metropole for this ethnic group where they have founded a substantial diasporaculture.

This study presents results for observing forest changes in Sweden using multi-temporal L-band satellite data and is a part of the JAXA?s ALOS Kyoto and Carbon Initiative. When I began my studies at Gammelkroppa forest school I started to think about an appropriate thesis. There was much discussion about the wild grazing damage during that period. I was at that time a part of Boo property and helped at their great hunts. They had the dual uses of wildlife and forest. I decided that I want to study how big the wild grazing damages are and if we can reduce them.

This paper presents an investigation into the relationship between inmates and staff in a high security prison in Sweden. The primary objectives are to investigate this relationship from an inmate perspective and to identify key factors that may promote or hinder rehabilitative interaction with staff. Empirical data utilized in this study consist of semi-structured interviews carried out by the authors with nine inmates currently in custody of the treatment facility within the prison and six inmates housed within the study facility. This data collection method is an extension of grounded theory and four key themes were generated from the data analysis. The first of these examines the effect of rule enforcement on prison atmosphere and subsequent staff/inmate relations.

Övervikt och fetma hos barn och ungdomar har blivit allt mer förekommande och prevalensen ökar dramatiskt över hela världen. Sedan raffinerade kolhydrater introducerades har även kariessjukdomen fått större utbredning. Då det finns gemensamma bakomliggande faktorer som påverkar både vikt och kariesprevalens vill vi i vår litteraturstudie undersöka om det finns något samband mellan body mass index (BMI) och kariesprevalens för barn och ungdomar. Efter sökningar i den medicinska databasen PubMed på artiklar från de senaste 5 åren fann vi oeniga resultat med jämn fördelning. Resultatet av litteraturstudien är att två av de undersökta studierna tyder på att det inte finns något samband mellan BMI och kariesprevalens, lika många anser att det finns en svag eller möjlig association, medan två studier ansåg att det fanns ett signifikant samband.

Idag finns det flera olika topologier inom området AC-DC-omvandlare. Framför allt har flyback-omvandlaren blivit en populär topologi inom lågeffektapplikationer p.g.a. dess få komponenter och relativt enkla styrning som gör den kostnadseffektiv.I detta arbete har det undersökts vilka fördelar och nackdelar som finns med flybackomvandlaren för laddning av en kondensatorbank. Detta har utförts genom att bygga en prototyp som baseras på flyback-topologin och sedan jämföra prototypen med ett befintligt system som är baserad på en annan topologi. Jämförelsen tyngdpunkt låg på storlek,prestanda och kostnad.Laddningsförloppet simulerades i MatLab genom att omsätta ekvationer från en grundlig teoristudie till kod.

Med den nya generationen processorer där vi har flera cpu-kärnor på ett chip, så ökas prestandan genom parallell exekvering. I denna rapport presenterar vi en omvärldsstudie om allmän multiprocessorteori där vi går igenom olika tekniker för både hårdvara och mjukvara. Vi har även utfört empiriska tester på ett datorkluster, där vi har testat de två olika programmen Fluent och CFX, som utför CFD beräkningar. För varje program så har tre modeller använts för simuleringar med varierande antal beräkningsnoder. Vi har undersökt vad som är mest lönsamt, att använda en eller båda CPU-kärnorna vid de olika simuleringarna.

Denna studie syftar till att, utifrån ett personal- och brukarperspektiv, undersöka vilka yttre och inre maktaspekter som kommer till uttryck och påverkar CM-teamets arbete samt hur dessa maktaspekter tar sig i uttryck i relations- och motivationsarbetet. CM-teamet är en verksamhet som arbetar för att samordna insatser från kommun och landsting för de individer som har ett vårdbehov för sitt missbruk och sin psykiska problematik och som faller mellan stolarna. Denna studie är baserad på en kvalitativ metod där materialet analyserades med hjälp av meningskoncentrering. Vi har gjort intervjuer med såväl personal som brukare på CM-teamet för att belysa två perspektiv av verksamhetens arbete. Resultatet visar på att de yttre maktaspekterna dels påverkar och begränsar CM-teamets arbete men även påverkar de inre maktaspekterna vilket tar sig uttryck i paternalism från personalens sida.
