Vid uppsägningar på grund av arbetsbrist ska arbetsgivaren enligt huvudregeln i 22 § 4 st LAS upprätta en turordningslista efter anställningstid för berörda arbetstagare. På listan ges arbetstagare med lång anställning företräde till fortsatt anställning framför arbetstagare med kortare anställningstid. Detta har påverkat olika grupper av arbetstagare på olika sätt. I uppsatsen behandlas invandrare, kvinnor samt arbetstagare som räknar med att erhålla ett skydd av huvudprincipen. Den sista gruppen utgörs främst av äldre arbetstagare med lång anställningstid.

The world gets smaller and smaller and goods, services, people and information are nowadays more and more able to freely cross borders. Half of the Swedish GNP consists of export and almost 70 % of that amount is goods. Because of today?s increasing globalization the Swedish companies are now faced with both new opportunities and threats. Companies with goods which are manufactured in Sweden gets challenged by increased competition from cheap goods produced in other countries and companies can no longer afford to entirely focus on the domestic market.

I arbetet med denna uppsats, har vi undersökt om brandväggar håller vad de lovar och om de i så fall ger full datasäkerhet. Vårt syfte är att, ur hemmaanvändarens perspektiv undersöka vad datasäkerhet innebär, hur hotbilden vid Internet-användning i hemmet ser ut och vad personliga brandväggar kan erbjuda för skydd. För att ta reda på detta gjorde vi följande frågeställningar: Vad är/innebär datasäkerhet? Vad skyddar en brandvägg mot? Vad skyddar brandväggen inte mot? För att besvara våra frågor har vi använt oss av tre metoder; litteraturstudie, test av tre stycken brandväggar och intervjuer med två personer med kunskaper inom datasäkerhet. Vi har med hjälp av metoderna kommit fram till att beroende på att en av de tre undersökta brandväggarna släppte igenom en trojan, trots att denna brandvägg sade sig stoppa sådana, så håller inte alla brandväggar vad de lovar. På grund av många användares omedvetenhet om farorna eller brist på insikt om sin egen utsatthet men även på grund av att hotbilden är så föränderlig, är det svårt, för att inte säga omöjligt att uppnå full datasäkerhet.

The aim with this study was to examine which information sources are used by the librarians in the process of changing automated library system and why. Furthermore it was of interest to examine whether there are any correlations between variables environment, information quality, information availability, information need and information sources. I used a quantitative method that was carried out in form of a nationwide survey. Questionnaires were sent out to all the Swedish libraries that had change library systems sometime between the years 2000.

The starting point must be that as long as no binding agreement between negotiators has been concluded, the negotiators has no obligations towards each other. Swedish Law does, however, recognize that obligations may arise in a pre-contractual phase. Different circumstances may add liability in a pre-contractual phase. This essay is a study about what the presumptions are for the liability in a pre-contractual phase. This essay also deals with what circumstances a party can add when he will claim damages in a pre-contractual phase.

Epidemiska sjukdomar som HIV/AIDS, malaria och TBC utgör ett stort hot mot dagens utvecklingsländer. WTO: s regelverk erbjuder i form av tvångslicenser medel att komma till bukt med bristen på läkemedel. Tvångslicenser meddelas dock mycket sällan. WTO har vid två tillfällen gjort tillägg till TRIPS-avtalet för att förtydliga och till viss del förändra innehållet i dess 31 artikel. Detta har skett i syfte att underlätta användandet av tvångslicenser som medel främja allmänhetens hälsa genom att nå befolkningen i fattiga länder med läkemedel.

Abstract Co-operation difficulties in the work place can be a problem serious enough. Co-operation difficulties can occur between employee and employer, as well as employees among themselves. Irrespective of between which individuals the co-operation difficulties occur, it will have negative consequences. These can consist of, for example that individuals might suffer mentally, inproductivity and also an unwished economic disadvantage for the employer. From the employers? side it is pointed out that it is important with employees who are possible to co-operate with in a satisfactory way.

During Spring semester 2011, Linda Engstrom and Malin Heder performed ?Golden Ratio?, a thesis which included 22.5 hp. Examiner for the thesis has been Professor Fredrik Thuvander at the Faculty of Technology and Science at Karlstad University.Crem International AB controls a patent, representing a new technology to streamline and minimize use of energy during the coffee preparation and results in a good coffee quality.

Den explosivt ökande mängden information som finns tillgänglig på Internet har även sina avigsidor. Att hitta meningsfull information och kunskap på Internet idag blir allt svårare. Behovet av verktyg som kan hjälpa individer och företag att ta fram värdefull information, speciellt tidskritisk sådan på ett effektivt sätt, är och kommer att bli mycket stort. Likaså kommer behovet av att komma åt denna information, oberoende av tid och plats att vara stort och bli allt större i takt med den ständigt accelererande utvecklingstakten. Vi har försökt att belysa hypotesens komplexitet och visa på det faktum att inte bara en utan många beståndsdelar spelar in vid skapandet av en personanpassad informationsportal. Arbetet har grundat sig på att identifiera de krav som skulle kunna ställas på grundläggande funktioner.

Att ta reda på de kriterier som en kompetent arbetstagare anser vara viktiga när han eller hon söker sig till ett visst företag, samt de resonemang som de för kring dessa. Vi vill även ta reda på vad företagen erbjuder kompetent arbetskraft, för att tillsammans med arbetstagarnas svar se om detta kan ha några följder för personalsammansättningen..

This paper's purpose is to examine the mandate and the role of the UN as an administrative actor. Today, we often see post-conflict territories in the need of governance. In the absence of local supported government the UN has the ability to fill that void. This thesis has been carried out on behalf of IV Produkt AB and intends to set an average ratio of thermal energy losses in apartment buildings that were built during the 1960-1990. This shall be derived by analyzing the total district energy consumption that has been divided into three parts: heat energy losses (the actual heating requirements), the heating of domestic hot water and heating energy consumption for the controlled ventilation.Three different residential areas that were built during the years 1962-1966 and one that was built in 1993 has been analyzed. All residential areas are located in Växjö urban and contains between four and six apartment buildings.The analyzed objects have a mechanical exhaust ventilation systems and district heating as the heating method. No own laboratory work or experiments have been done in this thesis, the calculations have been done on the basis of parameters from VEAB, interviews with property managers, and literature studies. By calculations, we have got a result that is reported in Chapter 6.

With this essay we would like to examine to what extent the ancient Icelandic literature could count as a part of Sweden?s literal cultural heritage in schools today, if it through seeking information is possible to say whether this literature have any connections to Sweden. Our questions of issue are:1. What kind of connection is there between ancient Icelandic literature and Swedish literary cultural heritage and what are the ancient Icelandic literature premises? in the Swedish upper secondary school?2.

Animal welfare during transport has for a long time been a problem around the world. Many animals are transported in stressful environments for slaughter. Even during Roman and Antiquity times wild animals were transported from Africa to the amusement parks in Rome. The aim of our work was to compare how well Sweden and Denmark are performing their inspections of transports of cattle and pigs for slaughter. Today, overloaded transports and poor treatment is not uncommon in Europe and every year 22 million animals are transported between countries.

This report is our Master thesis. Our work has taken place at a one-stop-shop in Sölvesborg during the spring of 2002. We have conducted ethnographical studies concerning the one-stop-shops frontdesk and telephone exchange. During these studies we became aware of some differences under which the daily work was to be carried out. When operating the switchboard the staff usually work alone and perform the tasks individually.
