The aim of this study was through applying a new perspective reach the people who during medieval time lived and worked on the farm. On the basis of my previously study and a gender perspective this study have compared general literature with local and then interpreted the farm from a local context. The questions raised here concerns division of work and spatial distribution on the farm as well as local impact on gender constructions.This study resulted in interesting problems within the archaeology itself but also in significant details about the farm. No gender restrictions could be seen in the houses except in Hus 1 were a smaller space, which probably used as storage or a workshop had been restricted tomales. Instead the buildings social space mainly consisted of a mixed gender environment.

We have, after three years of studying at Södertörns University Collage, experienced that there is great division in the classroom between students of foreign origin and ethnically Swedish students. How the students choose to place themselves in the classroom form a pattern on the basis of students? outer shells. The aim of this study is to understand what impact the student?s social orders has on the position they choose in the classroom.

This qualitative study aims to examine what career opportunities the Swedish employment service Arbetsförmedlingen can provide, as well as how the employees perceive their career development opportunities. Furthermore, we have touched on what it is that makes employees feel satisfied with their job and workplace, and also stay in the organization. The study was conducted on one of Arbetsförmedlingen?s offices in northern Sweden and the informants consisted of six employment agents, an executive assistant and a head of division. The result of the study has been analyzed using theories within the field of career development.

This paper attempts to illustrate a gap when it comes to the knowledge about unpaid volunteers in Swedish organisations. The person-oriented explanations of individual preferences when choosing an orientation in which to volunteer does not suffice to explain and enlighten the fact that there is a gender-based division that orientates women towards voluntary work within organisations with a social direction, while men tend to choose sports-oriented voluntary tasks. This illustrates a pattern that is common in society in general. Eight interviews including four women volunteering in socially oriented organisations and four men in sports-oriented organisations have been conducted. An attempt has been made to explain results from earlier research as well as the respondents reasoning about their voluntary work with gender related theories.

The professional football clubs can today be compared with company with profit aim, but the difference is that they also want to achieve sporting successes. In ten years, the Swedish Premier Division´s turnover has more than doubled and because of the strong economic development the license of elite was introduced. The license of elite´s criteria means that professional football clubs must have positively equity and requirements on approved or authorized auditor. Most of the professional football clubs are run as a non-profit association and legislations for these are relatively unclear compared with limited companies. The purpose of this study is to create understanding for how the audit process is implemented in professional football clubs compared with a limited company.

Denna rapport är resultatet av ett examensarbete utförts på Linköpings Universitet och Karlstads Universitet. Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka och vidareutveckla en befintlig färgbaserad GCR metod.GCR står för ?Grey Component Replacement? och är nödvändigt för att få korrekt färg i tryck. Givet ett C-, M- och Y-värde returnerade den undersökta metoden C?-, M?-, Y?- och K?-värden som var tänkt att ge samma färgintryck som i föregående fall.

Syftet med denna studie är att granska hur lärarna för åk 1-7 i en skola utanför Sverige arbetar förebyggande och åtgärdande mot mobbning inom ramen för Zero-programmet. Genom att ta reda på hur lärarna uppfattar mobbning och Zero-programmet vill jag bidra till forskningen som rör skolors aktiva insatser mot mobbning. Studien bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer där informanterna fick beskriva sitt aktiva förebyggande och åtgärdande arbete mot mobbning samt beskriva sin uppfattning om mobbning och Zero-programmet. Ur mitt material kom jag att utläsa tre olika diskurser vad gäller synen på mobbning. Vad gäller utsagorna om det förebyggande och åtgärdande arbetet utkristalliserades diskurserna: noll-tolerans och återkoppling, uttalade förväntningar, omvårdnad och delaktighet.

Syftet med projektet är att analysera hur division Ground Support Services på SAAB Aerotech arbetar med processledning för att verka för ständiga förbättringar. Syftet kan brytas ned i följande två huvudpunkter: ? Kritisk utvärdering av ledningsprocessen inom verksamhetsledningssystemet. ? Identifiera förändringar som krävs för att division Ground Support Services ska kunna verka för ständiga förbättringar och därmed bli bättre ur ett kund respektive kvalitetsperspektiv.

Den multivariata variabeln trädslagsfördelning beskriver volymsförhållandet mellan tall, gran och löv i ett skogsbestånd. Ofta är variabeln skattad med subjektiva metoder vilket resulterar i två typer av fel, systematiska och slumpmässiga. Subjektivt värde = Sant värde + systematiskt fel + slumpmässigt fel De slumpmässiga felen är omöjliga att justera, men de systematiska går att åtgärda genom kalibrering. Målet med arbetet har varit att finna lämpliga metoder att kalibrera trädslags­ fördelningen i subjektivt skattade register för att eliminera det systematiska felet. Kalibreringar har gjorts med fyra olika regressionsmodeller och ett neuralt nätverk.

This report is the written documentation of a project work carried out at the Division of Engineering Materials at Luleå University of Technology in cooperation with Seco Tools AB. The project deals with the analysis of residual stresses in Ti-Al-N thin film grown on WC/Co cutting inserts. The composition of Al varied from 0% up to 75%. Increasing the Al content in the Ti(1-x)Alx N compound improves the compressive residual stresses even after annealing of the material. The experiments have been performed in a high temperature x-ray diffractometer (HTXRD) where the interplanar atomic spacing was determined in-situ and subsequent converted into stresses.

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to examine what actually makes Russia an incomplete democracy, despite of all the formal democratic institutions and legal democratic rights.The research method used for this essay has been qualitative case study, which strives to answer two research questions: Which democratic principles are not respected in Russia? How does the executive power control the political arena? The theoretical framework used for this study consists of a model based on Dahls Polyarchy theory and the Rule of Law concept. The conclusions points out that very little have formally changed in Russia regarding democratic rights and the constitution. The democratic decline is due to political manoeuvres and undue political influence. There is no proper division of power and the executive powers are not controlled by a system of checks and balances.

Bakgrund: Förekomsten av skador inom fotbollen är stor vilket drabbar den enskilde spelaren både psykiskt och fysiskt. Syfte: Att undersöka om det fanns något samband mellan låg poäng (14 poäng eller mindre) med FMS och ökad skaderisk hos manliga amatörspelare i fotboll. Material och metod: Två fotbollslag i division tre och fyra deltog i studien. Ena laget fungerade som interventionsgrupp och den andra som kontrollgrupp. Båda lagen fick utföra en FMS.

The focus of this thesis is upon how conceptions of globalization is created by the labour-organizations Lands-organisationen (LO) and Svenskt Näringsliv. It is possible to discern two arguments for globalization in the texts, economy and democracy, and it is around these that the discourses of globalization are being constructed. Economy turns into a basic logic in the discourses of globalization. How to perceive the role of economy, as positive or negative, differs. Still, there is an agreement of the influence of economy.

In this essay i argue that there are three different variables that may be able to control the outcome of certain foreign policy choices. These three variables are External Threats, government division and public opinion. The Essay also tries to identify former president Bush motives behind the 2003 Iraqi War. It is partly argued that the three variables had a certain amount of influence on Bush decision making process. But the main focus lies on the motives behind the attack.

Detta är en rapport om investeringskalkylering inom ett sågverk. För att bäst få insikt i hur investering fungerar ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv, har ett praktiskt fall hos AB Karl Hedins sågverk Karbenning kalkylerats. Konkurrensen inom sågverksindustrin är idag stor. Därför krävs det ingående kalkyler angående investeringar, för att på bästa sätt kunna möta konkurrensen och hålla god lönsamhet. Målet med rapporten är att analysera lönsamheten för en investering i en brädscanner på Karbenning sågverk, utifrån givna data. Studien undersöker hur utfallet påverkas av vissa faktorer.
