Abstract Problem: Vad menas egentligen med mångfald, vilka dimensioner åsyftas och lyfts fram?Vilka dimensioner undertrycks och vilka problem kan det medföra? Syfte:Syfte med denna studie är att beskriva och skapa en djupare förståelse för begreppet mångfald. Metod:Den metod jag använt är en teorigenomgång. Det är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie med ett hermeneutiskt ideal och med aspekter hämtade från flera akademiska discipliner. Studien är en deskriptiv litteraturgenomgång av andra studier vilka är empiriska eller i sin tur är studier av empiriska data.

There have been changes in Earth?s climate system on both global and regional scale since the pre-industrial era and some of these changes are due to human activities such as the combustion of fossil fuels. This calls for the development of engines with a higher efficiency and less harmful emissions. One interesting concept is the Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engine, which has the advantages of potentially low emissions combined with high efficiency. However, HCCI with diesel fuel requires a relatively long fuel/air mixing time to ensure a "homogenous" charge.

Biologisk mångfald i urban miljö har visats sig ha stor betydelse för människansrekreation och fysiska och psykiska hälsa. Samtidigt förbättras stadens hälsa genom debullerdämpande, luftrenande och klimatförbättrande egenskaper som vegetationen har.Syftet med denna undersökning är att utföra en temporal och rumslig analysmed avseende på antal och utbredning av rödlistade kärlväxter i Göteborgs innerstad under1900-talet. Utgångsmaterialet är Göteborgs artdataarkiv, ADA, en databas framtagen avGöteborgs miljöförvaltning som innehåller observationer av rödlistade och andra skyddsvärdaväxt- och djurarter. Då databasen är en sammanställning av olika inventeringar över lång tidär skillnaderna från ett material baserat på en systematisk inventering stora. Vagalokalangivelser och okänd observationsfrekvensen i ett område är faktorer som påverkarsäkerheten i materialet men det kompenseras genom ett stort antal observationer undermycket lång tid.Den temporala analysen av antalet rödlistade kärlväxter i Göteborgs innerstadvisar på en tydlig nedgång i rapporterade arter.

Pigs are often mentioned as relatively intelligent animals when compared to other nonhuman species. Despite this knowledge, the vast majority of pigs are kept under conditions that lack opportunities to satisfy their cognitive needs. Therefore, a need to evaluate the present scientific studies about pig cognition was acknowledged, in order to evaluate to what extent the knowledge is applied in the husbandry of finishing pigs. If a considerable lack of application was determined, suggestions about how to use the obtained information to improve pig welfare were also to be made. A synthesis of the present literature was made, and it could be concluded that a considerable amount of studies had been carried out in the present area. The pigs of today appear to have the same behavioural and cognitive needs as their ancestor, the wild boar.

During the last couple of years many sectors and markets have had an increase in the competitive situation, this has meant that being cost effective have become more essential if organizations want to stay in business and be competitive. Thus, one crucial issue has become how to utilize the resources already available within the organization. Organizations can thoroughly plan and control personnel resources in order to become more efficient. Many studies and theories are made with big corporations in mind, and the importance of small businesses wasn?t enlightened until the end of the 1900´s. Business financing has created a number of theories, among them Myers pecking-order theory. This theory implies that business managers prefer internal equity in front of debt and external equity.

In the 1969 Le Thor seminar, Heidegger stated that his philosophical journey could be characterized by three different themes: meaning, truth, place. The first two of these have been the subject of countless studies and discussions, but the question of place is still relatively unexplored in Heidegger?s thought, despite the increased interest for this topic in his writings. Even though scholars like Jeff Malpas, Edward Casey, Stuart Elden and Miguel de Beistegui have written books and essays on the importance of the conception of place in Heidegger?s thinking, there are still many important aspects of this theme to be discussed, given the importance Heidegger himself ascribed to this topic.In this essay, I therefore wish to pose the question of how one can understand the relation between place and the role of tragedy in Heidegger?s conception of truth.

A description of the current situation was compiled by mapping the internal runnings and material flow throughout the factory. A new suggestion for a layout and a comparison with the current situation will assist with creating a factual basis for the development of a new goods reception.A study was made where the volumes and the quantity of the daily arrival goods were settled.

Syfte:Att skildra en arbetsmiljö en ung akademiker kan förvänta sig att möta på en arbetsplats i norra Virginia, USA. Att reda ut vilka arbetsvillkoren är och hur arbetsmiljön ser ut ur perspektiv som genus, kultur och ledarskap. Metod: Kvalitativ forskningsmetod med en induktiv, tolkande och konstruktionistisk strategi. Fallstudier har använts för att inhämta empirisk information. Resultat & slutsats: Det finns en paradox kring arbetstid och flexibilitet. Stipulerad arbetstid är långt ifrån verklig arbetstid. Tjänstemän arbetar betydligt mer än vad som ingår i en normal arbetsvecka.

Den senaste kursplanen i idrott och hälsa betonar att friluftsliv ska vara en del av undervisningen. I samband med en flygande inspektion av skolinspektionen 2010 uppdagades det att olika bollsporter var det som förekom mest i idrottsundervisningen. Med detta i åtanke var undersökningens syfte att beskriva innehåll och omfattning i friluftsundervisningen i skolan, och om det fanns några skillnader beroende på om skolan ligger i en stats- eller naturmiljö. Undersökningens syfte var också att ta reda på elevernas uppfattning om vad friluftsliv är och deras inställning till friluftsliv. Undersökningen har en kvantitativ komparativ ansats och resultatet baseras på 76 enkäter.

This essay examines the grotesque in Samuel Becketts wellknown play Waiting for Godot. The play is primarily seen as an icon of absurdism, and it is such not appropriate to examine the play as if it belongs to the litterary genre of grotesque. The primary purpose of absurdism is to reveal the pointless- and emptiness of existence. In order to illustrate these points absurdism will often make use of the common characteristics of the grotesque. With this in mind I present, within this essay, an eximination of whether Samuel Becket makes use of these characteristics to assist his portayal of emptiness in Waiting for Godot.A prior understanding of absurdism is required and i have as such primarly used Martin Esslins famous studies.The studies of the grotesque are mainly represented by two theorists.

Our work is based on a mathematics test which the students accomplished, interviews with student and teachers who are working on this program and the current literatures. The purposes of this work are to search the importance and the effect of the languages understanding in students learning of mathematic in the Individual high school curriculum. In total, sex students and three teachers took part in our study. Tow of the students is mother tongue language student and the remains are second language student. Our study should answer tow important questions:? Do the student in the Individual high school curriculum have the fundamental knowledge in mathematic?? How does the understanding of Swedish language effect in the understanding of the mathematic problems and in the students results in mathematic test?In order to answer those questions, the students have to complete a mathematic test that consists of four parts.

Konsten har genomgått en rad dramatiska förändringar de senaste decennierna och frågan är om konstpedagogiken har hängt med. I mitt arbete undersöker jag den pedagogiska potential och tvärvetenskapliga natur som samtidskonsten har. Min frågeställning lyder: Hur kan en pedagogisk metod utvecklas, där kroppsligt agerande och den erfarenhet som görs skapar ingångar till och förståelse för samtidskonst? Mitt nyckelbegrepp är ?mellanrum? och undersökningen handlar om vad som händer när mellanrum aktiveras. Jag använder mig av och integrerar två olika sorters verktyg i min undersökning.

AbstractThe market?s demand to purchase more cost effective products is continuously increasing. The producers are forced to become more efficient and flexible with resources to produce high quality products at a low cost in order to maintain or increase market shares. With this in mind Isaberg Rapid AB is requesting a project to increase efficiency in the assembly cell of hammertackers. The company has found in Kaizen-events that there is a potential of efficiency improvements in the assembly group that has not been achieved.The objective with this paper is to identify the major factors that influence the efficiency in the assembly cell for hammertackers.
