Hypertoni är en folksjukdom som drabbar en femtedel av den svenska befolkningen. Orsaker till hypertoni kan vara livsstilsrelaterade, som stress, övervikt eller fysisk inaktivitet. Distriktssköterskor har som uppdrag att kontrollera patienters blodtryck, ge stöd och rådgivning till förändrad livsstil. Detta för att främja hälsa och förebygga hypertoni eller förbättra ett förhöjt blodtryck.Syftet med examensarbetet är att sammanställa befintlig kunskap från litteratur om distriktssköterskors hälsofrämjande omvårdnadsåtgärder till patienter med hypertoni.Examensarbetet är en litteraturstudie där kunskap från 12 vetenskapliga studier förts samman till ett nytt övergripande resultat, en metasyntes. Resultatet visar att de hälsofrämjande omvårdnadsåtgärder distriktssköterskor utför till patienter med hypertoni sker som Hälsoutbildning på standardiserat eller personcentrerat sätt.

Syfte: Att undersöka distriktssköterskors erfarenheter av rollen som ledare för omvårdnadsarbetet i kommunal hemsjukvård. Metod: Studien hade en kvalitativ ansats. Tio distriktssköterskor verksamma inom kommunal hemsjukvård i två olika kommuner deltog i studien. Data insamlades via semi-strukturerade intervjuer och analyserades genom kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultat: Tre kategorier med åtta subkategorier framkom.

UN is a non-governmental organization which should promote gender equality within the organization. It is an organization which is based on human rights and claims that in order to solve the problem of poverty, famine and development we need to promote women?s status. In Sweden there is a strong tradition of gender balanced representation at the governmental level and this perspective raise the question if there is a spill-over effect to the civil society as in the case of a non-governmental organization. This makes it interesting to look at if a non-governmental organization which is not under state control work for gender equality within their own organization.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva distriktssköterskors upplevelse av sin yrkesroll och vad som ingår i uppdraget. Studien hade en beskrivande design och tio distriktssköterskor från tre olika hälsocentraler i Mellansverige deltog i studien. Data samlades in via strukturerade intervjuer och analyserades utifrån kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet som framkom under intervjuerna redovisas utifrån tre kategorier och ett tema: Att utvecklas i yrkesrollen och i teamarbetet trots avsaknaden av tydliga styrdokument om uppdraget. Kategorierna som framkom var: Yrkesroll, teamarbete och distriktssköterskans uppdrag.  Distriktssköterskorna upplevde sin yrkesroll som ett brett, fritt och ett varierande yrke med många möjligheter att utvecklas i.

Sweden of today is a so-called multicultural society. In this thesis we wanted to examine how mono, multi- and intercultural issues are expressed in culture-political documents. We also wanted to know how librarians for whom these documents are supposed to be guidelines expressed themselves in these matters. Monoculturalism can be described as a static perspective laid upon culture which emphasises cultural purity. A multicultural society describes a society were the nation consists of many different cultures alongside each other, without a genuinely common core.

The aim was to study the factors that contributed to the prescription of physical activity on prescription (PaP) by the professions in primary healthcare. A qualitative method was used in the study. The sample consisted of six participants; two doctors, two physiotherapists and two District nurses in primary healthcare in Uppsala County. The data were collected with semi-structured interviews and were analyzed with a thematic approach. The results show a great variety in which type of patient that receive PaP, however people with lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity are often more represented.

Earlier studies shows that democracy within the preschool is an important and on-going work, but could implicate certain consequences. For example that goals regarding democracy and influence in the preschool, rarely is done in practice but instead remains just words on a paper. It could also mean that the pedagogues lack education and knowledge within the area, but also how they react to the influence of children. Preschool is expected to be a place for all children, no matter what luggage the child is carrying. The luggage is filled with the life experience, the personality and in this case the needs that the child has. The needs could be anything from nearness to physical and psychological disorders that requires more pedagogical attention.

Since 1999 auditors have an obligation, according to 42-44 §§ aktiebolagslagen (2005:551), to report suspicions of crime. The obligation to report means that the auditor is legally obliged to report any suspicious economical crime potentially committed by the executive director or a member of the board to a District attorney. Prior to the enactment it was almost impossible for the auditor to report any criminal suspicion due to the professional confidentiality. According to Ekobrottsmyndigheten the number of crime suspicion reports filed by auditors has reduced by 50 percent in the Stockholm-region between 2006 and 2010. However, after the enactment crime suspicion reports increased successively each year.

Det dör ca 90 000 människor varje år i Sverige. En del av dem dör i hemmet. Distriktssköterskan har omvårdnadsansvar för palliativ omvårdnad i kommunen. Den här studien baseras på nio intervjuer med distriktssköterskor inom kommunal hemsjukvård i tre olika kommuner. Syftet med studien är att beskriva distriktssköterskors erfarenheter i kommunikation med patienter i kommunal hemsjukvård.

Uppsala County has ambitious environmental aims for the planned residential area inÖstra Sala backe. In this thesis different energy sources have been evaluated todetermine which system that would be most favorable given currently availableinformation about the project. Planned energy usage has been divided into tap waterheating, space heating and power. Three base case scenarios were made with Districtheating, small scale bio fuel and heat pump. Solar power and solar heating were thensimulated and the production from the two could individually be deducted from theenergy need in the base cases, constituting 9 different scenarios.

Hypertoni beskrivs vara en riskfaktor bland annat för hjärtkärlsjukdomar som tenderar att öka och patienter med hypertoni når i allt större utsträckning inte behandlingsmålen enligt Socialstyrelsens nationella riktlinjer. Tidigare studier har visat att distriktssköterskeledda hypertonimottagningar med strukturerade strategier har haft positiv effekt för patienter med hypertoni, men inte beskrivit vilka stödjande insatser som distriktssköterskorna utför. Syftet var att beskriva distriktssköterskans erfarenhet av att bedriva stödjande insatser vid en hypertonimottagning inom primärvården. Urvalet bestod av fyra distriktssköterskor som bedrev hypertonimottagning i primärvården. Materialet till pilotstudien samlades in via intervjuer.

This essay aims to examine and compare the attitudes of decision makers in the local government and representatives of pensioners in two different geographic areas. The main questions were:- their attitudes towards the "stay home principle" (kvarboendeprincipen, a principle that aims to make it possible for people with a handicap, disease or age to stay in their homes instead of moving to nursing homes).- their attitudes towards nursing homes for old people- their attitudes towards the possibility of staying at home when you are old and handicapped and in need of care.The essay is built on qualitative research methods, based on interviews and on a review of research in the field.The author found a complex picture of attitudes. Everybody thinks that the best is to live in your own home as long as possible, except from those who live with Alzheimer´s disease. They showed different opinions on the issue of the need for moving to nursing homes. This might result in forcing people to stay at home.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to increase the knowledge about how public libraries can contribute to fulfil political programmes aimed towards integration. To achieve this we have conducted an evaluative case study about a public library in Sweden and the activities they carried out within the framework of the metropolitan policy programme Storstadssatsningen?. The questions raised consider which the political aims for integration within this programme were, which activities the library did accomplish, what the result in comparison with the politically decided aims was, and what conclusions can possibly be drawn from this? The theoretical framework consists of theories regarding evaluation, political programmes, integration and segregation, and public library-activities.

Bakgrund: Distriktssköterskors arbete har förändrats över tid. Patienter är idag ofta välinformerade om sin hälsa och medvetna om att de kan påverka sin hälsa. I dagens samhälle är internet en vanlig källa till hälsoinformation, som har blivit allt mer tillgänglig. Det är viktigt att patienten känner delaktighet i sin egen vård.  Vårdgivaren har ett ansvar att leda patienten till tillförlitliga informationskällor. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa distriktssköterskors erfarenheter av att patienter söker hälsoinformation på internet och hur det påverkar deras arbete.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether an increasing amount of elderly immigrants will set new demands upon the public eldercare. The focus is on the officials whithin the public care of elderly in Västra Götaland District, and their experiences. A second purpose of this study is to add the experiences of the officials to former research treating the topic of elderly immigrants and their experiences of the public eldercare in Sweden.The survey has been carried out through interviewing all together seven officials working within the public care of elder in varying Districts of Västra Götaland. The interviews have later been summoned under four different themes such as, ?Culture, customs and tradition?, ?Interaction and communication?, ?Information? and ?The future of the public eldercare?.The study indicates that our result based on the interviews, is in several references corresponding to former research on the topic.
