Bemötande av äldre patienter är ett intressant område då inte så mycket forskning utförts kring detta ämne. Bemötande är dock svårt att definiera vilket gör forskning i ämnet svårt. Syftet med studien var att beskriva äldres positiva och negativa patientupplevelser av sjuksköterskans bemötande i sjukhus- och sjukhemsmiljö. Tre frågeställningar skulle besvaras. Hur beter sig sjuksköterskor i sitt bemötande av äldre patienter? Hur uppfattar äldre patienter detta möte? Vad är det i mötet som avgör om upplevelsen uppfattas som positiv eller negativ? Metoden är en litteraturstudie baserad på 10 kvalitativa artiklar.

Biogas is increasingly used for fuel in for example vehicles and it´s produced in a biogas processconsisting of the steps of pretreatment, digestion and gas cleaning. The pretreatment is a method usedto increase the gas production and / or destroy pathogens. The digestion is the stage when anaerobicmicroorganisms convert bio-mass of a substrate to a raw gas containing about 65% of methane. Thegas cleaning is used to increase the methane content to about 97% so the gas can be used for motors invehicles. The biogas part of the Ekeby sewage plant in Eskilstuna is using multiple substrates.

Bakgrund: Hälso- och sjukvården är utsatt för hög belastning vilket ökar kraven på personalen. Misstag som sker i vården beror många gånger på att sjuksköterskan upplever stress i arbetet. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att belysa sjuksköterskans erfarenheter av stress och vilka konsekvenser det får för omvårdnaden. Metod: För att uppnå studiens syfte valdes en litteraturöversikt som metod som är baserad på vetenskapliga och kritiskt granskade artiklar. Följande frågeställningar un¬dersöks: Sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av stress i arbetet och vilka konsekvenser får det för vårdandet.

Antalet anmälda våldtäkter har ökat markant de senaste tio åren. År 2010 anmäldes 5960 våldtäkter mot kvinnor, män och barn jämfört med 2084 våldtäkter år 2001. När det gäller antalet anmälda våldtäkter år 2010 mot kvinnor 18 år eller äldre var siffran 3245, medan motsvarande siffra för män var 97. Kvinnan som våldtas blir kränkt och förödmjukad både sexuellt och personligt. Som andra människor i kris kan hon tappa meningen med sitt liv och fyllas av sorg och ångest.

Researchers, planners, and government agencies agree that road safety for children must be a priority and in particular that children should have a safe and secure way to travel to and from school regardless of age or the distance travelled. In Sweden, child traffic safety is a key part of the country?s Nollvision, a long-term traffic policy goal of ?no deaths or serious injuries?. Unfortunately, many countries have recorded increases in child traffic accidents as the percentage of parents who drive their children to school and thus congestion around schools has increased. Common strategies include traffic safety education for children, the redesign and improvement of traffic infrastructure, bicycle training, and carpooling.This thesis assesses the traffic problem around Ludvigsberg School in the district Valbo in Gävle, Sweden.

Blood sampling is one of the most important diagnostic tools in veterinary medicine, and this is also true for avian medicine. A properly collected and handled venous sample can be used for serology, biochemistry and electrolyte analysis, as well as for blood smears, packed cell volume and cell differentiation. Caring for sick birds is a challenge for all veterinary staff. Many birds are easily stressed individuals, and to a very ill bird a big increase in stress level can even be fatal. Avian patients who are presented in a veterinary clinic are often in a poor condition, and blood sampling is an invasive procedure that can cause stress to the patient.

The objective of this study is to examine the sustainability of recovering industrial wasteheat from several heat sources in a foundry constructed in a plant belonging to ITT Waterand Wastewater in Emmaboda, Sweden. A triple bottom line perspective will be appliedto achieve this objective. The triple bottom line approach takes into account ecologicaland social performance in addition to financial performance. The technology forrecovering the waste heat is a Borehole Thermal Energy Storage (BTES) which is aconstruction consisting of 140 vertical boreholes, 150 meters deep with an internal spaceof four meters.The calculated amount of energy for storage is approximately 3800 MWh annually. Ofthis amount 2500 MWh are expected to be utilized, while storage losses accounts for theremaining part.

Background: Mental illness is a growing public health problem which can cause significant disabilities and lead to poor quality of life. As primary care nurses often are the first to encounter these patients they need knowledge to be able to respond appropriately to this group.Aim: The aim was to describe how the sufferer of mental illness experiences the introduction to primary care. Method: The literature review was based on the results of 11 scientific articles which were analyzed with the inspiration of a metasynthesis method.Results: Four categories emerged: the experience of being treated like a human being, the importance of a therapeutic space, the experience of time and availability as well as the importance of competent personnel and the importance of continuity. Patients described different aspects deemed important when encountering nursing staff. Conclusion: Patients experienced that they received good care when they felt listened to and seen as individuals with their own thoughts and feelings.

Background:Breast milk has many good qualities and recommendations declare that breast milk alone is the most favorable choice for newborn babies up to six months of age. When the mother can´t provide her own breast milk for her baby, donor milk is a valuable source. Unfortunately the demand is often higher than the supply and thereby milk banks suffer from shortages. Aim: Highlighting women's experiences of being milk donors. Method: The study has been conducted as a literature review in which existing research has been used.

Background: The patient meets nurses in the emergency department that provide both nursing and has medical skills. The care that the patients are receiving should be individually adjusted. The care is shaped by the individual meeting with the patient according to the nursing theorist Orlando. There are large variations between the number of patients in an emergency department and it sets high demands on the staff, both physically and mentally. When the emergency department is highly loaded there is a priority for medical care and psycho-social and aesthetic aspects will have to wait.

Perioperativ vårdprocess är ett arbetssätt och forskning inom området visar att den har betydelse för patienters välbefinnande i samband med operation. Anestesisjuksköterskor har en nyckelroll i vårdmöten i samband med operation för att minska patienters vårdlidande. Syftet med studien är att genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie ta reda på hur fyra anestesisjuksköterskor på sjukhus resonerar om den perioperativa vårdprocessen. Data analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att informanterna resonerar om perioperativ vårdprocess utifrån tre kategorier; förutsättning att kunna prioritera användning, organisatoriska faktorer som påverkar möjlighet till användning negativt och yrkesansvar finns vilket har betydelse för korrekt bedömning av omvårdnadsbehov i samband med operation.

Bakgrund: Att ge egenvårdsråd är en del av distriktssköterskans/sjuksköterskansomvårdnadsarbete i telefonrådgivning på vårdcentral. Att arbeta med telefonrådgivningupplevs självständigt och stimulerande men också svårt då DSK/SSK känner sigutlämnade pga. det ansvar och den kompetens som krävs. DSK/SSK stöter ibland påmotstånd när de förmedlar egenvårdsråd. Patienterna vill inte alltid ta emot råd som gesvilket kan utgöra en belastning för DSK/SSK.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskrivaDSK/SSK erfarenheter av motstånd mot egenvårdsråd i samband medtelefonrådgivning.Metod: Studien genomfördes som en kvalitativ intervjustudie.

Obesity is one of the biggest threats to child- and adolescent health. The amount of obese children is today increasing more in Sweden than in the US. This may in a couple of years have bad consequences for the Swedish children?s quality of life. When a child suffers from obesity it is a big stress on the body and can lead to serious consequences in adulthood.

This thesis analyzes the effects of different fertilization strategies on forest management at Holmen Skog in Umeå district. Harvesting volumes, net present values and fertilization intensity are presented for each fertilization scenario. The planning reserve (percentage area older than minimum final felling age) was also analyzed in this study.The thesis covers the analysis of five different fertilization scenarios, varying in fertilization intensity, from no fertilization at all, to fertilization at every harvesting operation (thinning or final felling). A sub-study was also carried out so the reader in detail can see how the different fertilization scenarios affect individual forest stands of different nature. The analysis has been done with the planning tool PlanWise, which is an application of the Heureka analysis and planning system.

SammanfattningSyftet med studien var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av att få fysisk aktivitet ordinerat på recept av distriktssköterskan och om möjligheten att följa det ordinerade. Studien hade en beskrivande design med kvalitativ ansats. Tio kvinnor och tio män som erhållit FaR från två hälsocentraler i Mellansverige deltog i studien. Data samlades in via semistrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjuerna analyserades sedan med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.
