During installation and operation of a geothermal heat pump system leakage of an antifreezing agent can appear in a borehole and leak out in surrounding groundwater. To guarantee high quality drinking water for generations to come Sweden has dedicated some areas as water protection areas. The local authority gives permits for the installation of heat pump systems within water protection areas. Before giving a permit the local authority makes an evaluation of the risks involved in installation and operation of the system within the area. By keeping a certain distance between the protected object in the area and the heat pump system the risk of polluting the protected object with an anti-freezing agent can be reduced.This thesis makes a comparison between three different methods of calculating an appropriate distance between the protected object and the heat pump system.

Detta examensarbete är det avslutande momentet på civilingenjörsutbildningen Ergonomisk design och produktion. Arbetet har utförts på Scanias utvecklingsavdelning för hyttergonomi och design i Södertälje och handlar om hur framtidens lastbilar kommer att styras. Utgångspunkten har varit att skapa förbättringar i- och kring förarplatsen med fokus på ratten. Scania är en världsledande tillverkare av tunga lastbilar och bussar, företaget grundades år 1891 i Södertälje, där det idag har sitt huvudkontor. Scania utvecklar, tillverkar och marknadsför lastbilar för fjärrtrafik, bygg- och anläggningstransporter samt distribution.

The Energy Market Inspectorate is implementing a new tariff regulation in Sweden. A small part of the new regulation concerns effectible operation costs and originally they where intended to be calculated using a modification of equivalent comparison standards, in Swedish Ekm. This thesis is intended to analyze if Fortums grid in Stockholm could be described correctly, using equivalent comparison standards. In Ekm every part of the distribution grid is designated a weighting in relation to 1 km 0.4kV over head line. These Ekm-measurements are intended to simplify comparison between different grid areas with different structure and geographical conditions.

Företag och organisationer har sedan industrialismens första år arbetat med att försöka effektivisera produktionen. Effektiv produktion leder till billigare produkter, som i sin tur leder till ökad försäljning. Ett bra hjälpmedel för att uppnå denna effektivisering är införande av ett MPS-system. Systemet hjälper till att planera, organisera, samordna, styra och kontrollera materialflödet i företaget.Införandet av detta system är dock inte alldeles trivialt. Många experter säger att implementering av MPS-system är svårare än att introducera en ny produkt eller att etablera sig på en helt ny marknad.

This paper studies, from a client perspective, how three Swedish municipalities work with information about a voucher system in homecare. The paper is a qualitative study using structured informant interviews and analysis of documents. The interviewees are responsible of information about the voucher system in the municipalities. The studied documents describe and clarify the voucher system of the municipality. Neo-institutional organization theory is used to analyse the result.

This thesis aims to discuss how an information system and its users may adapt to each other. The main discussion is how to create an information system that is adaptable without losing its organising properties. The thesis uses a holistic approach to the topic and the areas being dealt with are information architecture, interactive information retrieval and information searching. The practical work consisted of constructing a database for Autoliv?s Research and Development branch.

The Swedish Aviation Safety Authority has decided to standardise a classification system for reporting deviations found in inspections. The purpose of a classification system is that similar deviations always should be reported in the same way since this will enable better decisions regarding different risk areas. The inspectors are therefore constrained to use a standardised classification system and are not free to use their own words when reporting deviations. A hierarchal classification system with predefined phrases is in aviation referred to as taxonomy. Taxonomy is already in use when reporting accidents and incidents but not when reporting deviations found in inspections.

Detta examensarbete syftade till att undersöka och beräkna kostnads-, resurs- och tidsförändringar på inleverans, mellantransport och distribution för Milkos egendistribuerade produkter vid en produktionsflytt från Östersund till Sundsvall. Projektarbetet syftade även till att undersöka hur en flytt skulle påverka möjligheten att transportera externa varuägares produkter. Arbetet mynnade ut i ett förslag som beskriver hur de externa transporterna kan lösas vid en eventuell produktionsflytt. För intransporterna av råmjölk presenterades ett förslag där 360 000 liter i veckan ska styras om från Östersund till Sundsvall med påföljden att årskostnaden ökar med knappt 1,5 miljoner kronor. I distributionsupplägget ingick ett uppförande av en omlastningscentral i Ånge och ökat utnyttjande av den befintliga centralen i Sollefteå.

During the past few years an increased attention has been paid to environmental issues in the construction and property sector in Sweden. In order to simplify the work with these issues a Swedish environmental certification system for buildings called Miljöbyggnad has been developed. This thesis aims to investigate the opinion of a selected number of selected property owners of Miljöbyggnad. From that basis recommendations and actions for the future work with the system will be presented.The investigation has been conducted through personal interviews with five property owners. The main issues that the interviews have been based on are their purpose, experiences, perceived complications and future prospects in terms of certification using Miljöbyggnad.The system intends to be cost-effective, simple and to offer a relevant environmental assessment of buildings and the result from the report indicates that this is largely fulfilled.

The essay focuses on the blacklisted restriction of passive sales in the block exemption to Article 101 TFEU on vertical agreements. It confirms the authors' thesis that the distinction between active and passive sales do not cause any problems in the theory, but that the reality shows the opposite. The analysis further shows that more detailed guidelines probably would not solve the problem but rather it is the objectives behind the rules and practice that causes confusion.The essay questiones whether the changes in the new guidelines for the block exemption also involves a change in the Commission's approach to the restrictions on passive sales when the same purposes as before lies behind the rules, where the goal of an integrated market is the most important. The impact of the so called "economic approach" within practice since the 1990s, when it was first introduced, suggests that changes are slow. The essay requests a greater openness to the fact that the realization of a single market and the desire to move closer to the commercial reality of companies collide.One proposed solution is given, where the rules would be designed so that 'absolute territorial protection' is prohibited, contractually and de facto, and that it is left open for companies to determine if their actions lead to this.

Simulation is a vital tool during development of JAS 39 Gripen, since money and time can be saved.The Auxiliary and Emergency Power System, AEPS, is a subsystem of the secondary power system in Gripen. It has the function of providing the aircraft with electrical and hydraulical power before activation and after deactivation of the main engine. The system also functions as backup in case of a safety critical problem in the main power supply system. The system basically consists of a control unit and an auxiliary gearbox. The gearbox is driven by an air turbine.

The accounting information system comprises budgeting, accounting, and costing. The accounting information system has, traditionally, constituted an integrated system where the different elements collaborate. If ABC is introduced this order is disturbed, since ABC is based on another logic which cannot easily be integrated with budget and accounting. ABC, therefore, is usually used parallely to the conventional costing method. There are, however, companies that have taken its ABC one step further by letting it replace the old costing model and integrate it with the accounting information system.

Ett nytt musik- och teaterhus byggs vid Munksjön i centrala Jönköping. Dit ska Smålands Musik och Teater (SMoT) flytta sin verksamhet. Den nya byggnaden kommer att innehålla ett flertal scener varav två av dessa scener ska utrustas med ett automatiserat övermaskineri: Teaterscenen och Konsertscenen. De ska utrustas med samma system fast den senare i en mindre omfattande installation. Detta arbete innehåller en studie av ett generellt system och en analys av dess delfunktioner.

Tanken bakom examensarbetet var att undersöka huruvida de äldre system som finns i bruk ute i organisationer idag uppfattas som ett problem samt vad som i sådana fall görs åt problemet. Ett flertal författare har under åren förklarat hur förändringar i system leder till en försämrad struktur vilket förr eller senare orsakar ett försvårat underhållsarbete av system. För att ta reda på hur väl litteraturen stämmer överrens med svenska organisationer så har vi intervjuat fyra respondenter för att få deras syn på problematiken. Denna har sedan jämförts och diskuterats mot de premisser vi funnit i litteraturen. Det har framkommit att det litteraturen inom området menar, stämmer till stor del med det våra respondenter berättat.

Arbetet ett företag lägger ner för att komma fram till ett beslut om en större investering i till exempel nya maskiner är oftast omfattande och ett resultat av ett strukturerat arbete med klara strategier för att i största möjliga mån uppfylla behovet som orsakade anskaffningen. Däremot har en investering i informationsteknologi av olika anledningar inte setts som vanliga investeringar utan ofta genomförts utan en ordentlig utvärdering. Med denna uppsats ville vi försöka ta reda på om det verkligen förhåller sig så att företag anskaffar IT-system utan att göra någon ordentlig analys av de problem eller behov som förorsakat anskaffningen eller om de följde de metoder och modeller som finns tillgängliga för att komma fram till ett beslut om anskaffning av ett IT-system. Vi utförde vår undersökning vid tre produktionsföretag som hade anskaffat liknande system. Vid vår analys valde vi att applicera förändringsanalysmetoden, FA/SIM och Simons vedertagna beslutsprocessmodell på det empiriska materialet.
