För att möjliggöra sortimentsexpansionen behövs beslutsunderlag rörande hantering och kostnadsstruktur identifieras.Syfte:                          Syftet med studien är att utveckla en modell vid val och utformning av distributionssätt för att föreslå en distributionsslösning. Syftet är också att genom en kostnadsanalys identifiera orderkostnadsstrukturen för den föreslagna distributionslösningen.Metod:                        Vid genomförandet av studien tillämpades en fallstudiedesign. Det empiriska materialet samlades in genom intervjuer utförda på Staples Sweden AB.Slutsats:                      Vid tillämpningen av modellen som utvecklades i studien framkom att distributionslösningen ska utgöras av direktleveranser, konsoliderade direkleveranser, ?cross-docking?, ?cross-docking? med buffert och traditionell lagerhållning.

In the light of some company scandals the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance, the Code, was introduced in the year of 2004 to reinforce confidence in how Swedish listed companies are managed. The product structure of the fuel tank installation is one of the most complex product areas at Scania. Caused by the number of parameters, which affect the fuel tank installation, a product structure is created which is very difficult to handle. Knowledge exist that the structure in a nearby future will be considerable more complex. The purpose of the study has been to understand in why this complexity exist and find ways to break the trend of a growing product structure. International expansion has long been associated with a positive trend that many companies, regardless of industry, choosing to realize mainly to expand its market share and hence its profitability. Various theories describe differentiated strategies to promote corporate expansion. Either they shall be financed by internal funds, or balancing equity with debt, or only increase leverage in order to achieve the desired results. This study focuses on the Swedish fashion market and its degree of internationalization. The purpose is to attempt to discern whether there exists a correlation between the degree of internationalization and its financial performance.The study was based on a quantitative approach where secondary data was collected so that we then would be able to perform regression calculations.

The number of sawmills in Sweden has decreased dramatically since the 1980s and the trend looks set to continue. The sawmills that are left instead becomes larger and are situated farther apart. In northern Sweden, they are concentrated along the coastline.In our study, we compared conditions for running a sawmill in inland areas and coastal areas and looked at what factors have the greatest impact on the profitability of the sawmill in northern Sweden.We chose to compare different locals conditions for a sawmill that only sawn pine timber and had an annual raw material requirements of 300 000 m3ub per year. By analyzing the kNN-data from the Swedish National Forest Inventory we have taken out the size of the timber volume at each site and its catchment. We have also looked at possible competitors in the areas that may affect the purchase price of the commodity.

During the 17th century the production and distribution of printed works increased in Stockholm and Uppsala. However, all works that the publisher wanted to print, did not reach the reader. This thesis aimed to show when, where and how printed books and dissertations did not reach the reader. To achieve this aim, aspects of several well known models showing systems of book production and distribution were combined and adapted to suit Swedish conditions in the 17th century. This combined model focused on processes of selection and was presented and used as a theoretical approach.

The aim of the study was to examine prerequisites for the changes that are taking place within working with Intimate Partner Violence in Västra Hisingen (a municipal district in Gothenburg, Sweden). My research questions concerned incentives for the new features, their practical consequences and prerequisites for implementation. The study has been performed by three focus group interviews with different parts of the organization represented. The work material has then been analyzed using Implementation Theory, Human Service Organization Theory and theories on breaking up. The study showed that all respondents were motivated to perform the changes, but also that there were significant differences between the groups? conceptions of what implementation demands, and of the organizational support today.

Denna undersökning behandlar vilka faktorer som påverkar multinationella tillverkande företag när de väljer att placera kontrollen över sin internationella fysiska distribution (IPD) hos moderbolaget eller det utländska dotterbolaget.Undersökningen är genomförd hos sju elektroniktillverkande företag i Stockholmsområdet. Datainsamlingen har främst skett genom kvalitativa intervjuer med utvalda personer anställda på företagen, samt via elektroniska källor som tillhandahölls av företagen.Undersökningen syftar till att analysera faktorer som påverkar multinationella företag när de väljer placering av kontrollen över den internationella fysiska distributionen.Analysen visar på att de faktorer som i störst utsträckning påverkar multinationella företag vid detta beslut är deras egen omsättning samt erfarenhet av att vara ett multinationellt företag.Slutsatsen för denna undersökning blir följaktligen att ett multinationellt företag väljer placering av kontrollen beroende på vilken fas företaget befinner sig i. Dessa faser identifieras i denna undersökning som Traditionell centralisering, Effektiv decentralisering och Hållbar centralisering..

Bakgrund: De senaste åren har alltmer musik börjat distribueras digitalt via Internet. Detta har framförallt skett via fildelningsnätverk men under de senaste två åren har allt fler legala tjänster växt fram. Prisnivån hos dessa tjänster är väldigt enhetlig och återförsäljarna har små marginaler på sin försäljning. Teorier påstår att Internet ger möjligheten att skära bort delar i distributionskedjan och det kan leda till lägre priser. Internet ger också ökade möjligheter att ändra priser på daglig basis.

Tack vare bättre och bättre förutsättningar för utveckling av mobila applikationer, samt utbredning av internetbaserade tjänster, presenteras här ett underlag inför val av mobil utvecklingsplattform. De undersökta plattformarna är Android och Iphone på grund av deras växande utbredning på smartphonemarknaden. Studien presenterar förutsättningar för att utveckla webbtjänst-understödda applikationer för intern distribuering. Ett visuellt tilltalande användargränssnitt är också i fokus för den typen av applikation studien riktar sig mot.Vi har kommit fram till att Android är lättare att lära sig om man kommer ifrån en Java- eller .Netmiljö samt lättare att distribuera. Iphone har däremot bättre stöd för att utveckla grafiskt tilltalande applikationer.
