From a democratic point of view the existing organisation with municipality sections in the city of Malmö, Sweden will be examined. The matter of how an alternative organisation should be structured will also be discussed. Two incompatible models of democracy theories will be arranged: libertarian democracy and participation democracy. The intentions with the reform were primary to increase the civic participation. By applying those values that are used to characterize participation democracy it will be shown whether the local participation has actually increased.

In this essay I will look at the independence of the Swedish municipalities. By looking at articles for the biggest journal in Sweden on this subject Kommun aktuellt I will look at the discussion for the years of 1978 and 1998 to see if one can draw some parallels in the debate and see if some subjects are always returning in the agenda for the independence. The autonomy of the Swedish municipalities is a very important part of the Swedish welfare model. The municipalities handles for example both the primary schools and the social welfare services. Both these institutions are money draining and the municipals right by law to claim local tax does far from all the time cover its expenses.

Ett strategiskt tänkande för karriärguiden presenteras samt riktlinjer för funktioner och utformning.Metod:Utifrån insamlad sekundärdata om Career Management och Internetmarknadsföring utformades en intervjuguide som låg till grund för genomförandet av undersökningen. 15 kvalitativa intervjuer med individer mitt i karriären utfördes.

Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka hur några speciallärare och specialpedagoger ser på arbete med musik, språk och kommunikation för elever på tidig utvecklingsnivå. Fokuseringen är hur de ser på att använda musik för att nå språkliga och kommunikativa mål för elever i gymnasiesärskolan. Som metod i studien har kvalitativa intervjuer använts då den undersöker upplevelser. Datainsamlingsmaterialet har analyserats enligt fenomenologisk forskningsmetod. Sammanlagt har sex speciallärare och specialpedagoger intervjuats.

The object of this study is the female user of amphetamines and the characteristica which she is often described by. Many of these descriptions regard the female amphetamine user's sexuality which also have come to form the assumption that these women make a living from having sexual relations with men in exchange of drugs.In order to be able to draw any kind of conclusions regarding this, we found it necessary to investigate how the stereotypical female user of amphetamines makes a living and also whether it is possible for a female drug user to decide for her self how to support her habit.The disposition is a qualitative study of literature and the perspectives that we focused on in this study are gender roles, relationships and sexuality, criminality and finally the drug using woman as a victim. The theories used deal with social constructivism, respectability and shame.The main discussion of our study has been how women amphetamine users are moulded to become victims through interaction with other people but also with the society as a whole..

Inom stödverksamhet för vuxna med utvecklingsstörning, som regleras enligt LSS (Lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade, 1993:387 ) har personalens bemötande en avgörande betydelse för kvaliteten och möjligheten till delaktighet. Syftet med detta arbete är att belysa, tolka och förstå hur personal i denna stödverksamhet ser på sin kompetens, och hur de upplever att de kan tillägna sig och utveckla denna. Med en narrativ ansats, där människans behov av att berätta ses som en existentiell förutsättning, har svaren sökts med intervjun som metod. Med fokus på dialog har de teoretiska utgångspunkterna centrerats till begreppen kompetens, kunskap, berättelse och en kommunikationsteori som sätter dialogen i centrum, Michael Bachtins teori om dialogicitet. Intervjupersonerna ser både yrkesmässiga och personliga händelser som avgörande för hur deras syn på yrkesrollen förändrats över tid.

Syftet med den här rapporten är att undersöka ifall PHP-ramverket CodeIgniter är ett lämpligt val för konstruktion av mindre webbplatser. För att besvara frågeställningen har jag konstruerat en webbplats i CodeIgniter åt företaget Östra hundskolan. Utifrån de erfarenheter jag fått när jag arbetat i CodeIgniter för jag ett resonemang kring fördelar och nackdelar jämfört med andra webbtekniker som mer traditionell webbprogrammering, CMS och andra PHP-ramverk.För att konstruera Östra hundskolans webbplats har jag tillsammans med deras ägare tagit fram en kravspecifikation som redogör för de funktioner och krav som finns. Utifrån kravspecifikationen har jag skapat en designspecifikation som sedan ligger som grund för implementeringen av webbplatsen. Webbplatsen är implementerad i CodeIgniter där många av dess inbyggda hjälpbibliotek har legat som underlag för webbplatsens funktioner.De slutsatser jag dragit efter att ha jobbat med CodeIgniter är att valet av verktyg måste anpassas utifrån många olika parametrar, exempelvis hur lång är projektettiden, vilka funktioner ska webbplatsen uppfylla, finns programmeringskunskaper, finns det ett krav på enkelt underhåll etcetera.

This thesis aims to examine how teachers who teach the Swedish subject, uses film in their education. The survey was given to 30 of these teachers in Nykoping, half which are working in junior high schools, and half which are working in high schools. One importantcondition to this works implementation, is the existence of the widen text concept that points to that all media is a concept that can be read and analysed. This is the attitude that The National Agency for Education aims at in different govern documents. This Master's thesis concerns the classification of compact discs according to the Swedish classification system, SAB. The purpose of this thesis is to critically study and discuss category Y of the SAB-system and its application in Swedish public libraries. The classification system has undergone great changes from the first edition in 1921 until today. In 1921 there were no musical recordings in Swedish libraries, today they are responsible for a large part of the loans. We discuss how the system's category Y has corresponded with the musical development.

I denna uppsats har jag undersökt metoder för förvaltande av kunskap samt lärande på arbetsplatsen genom att utgå ifrån personalens expertkunskaper inom sitt arbete och hur företag kan ta tillvara dessa. Den samlade kunskapen som finns på företag är ett värdefullt verktyg. Om den skulle varit möjligt att ta tillvara den på ett effektivt sätt skulle både medarbetare och företagets utveckling kunna dra stor nytta av det. Jag har undersökt hur denna kunskap skulle kunna förvaltas för att de anställda ska kunna få mer ansvar och möjlighet att förbättra sin arbetsplats med hjälp av olika metoder. Detta har jag gjort i samarbete med företaget Jidoka Innovation och deras metoder under samlingsnamnet HelpMe.

AbstractThe purpose of this investigation is to find out how the pupils can discover and to feel joy in their creative art activity and also to believe in their own ability. The aim is to figure out if creative art activity is able to raise the pupil?s self-image. By literature, pedagogue interviews, and interviews with pupils at the age of ten years old and by action research is the way that I have searched for an answer for my question. The main result is that fantasy, creativity, courage and lust are important parts to develop in the job of raising the self-image.

The curious nature of humans has been the puzzle of psychologists, philosophers and scientists since the time we began to use those terms. Why are we curious? Why do we behave the way we do and why? The span of views on curiosity covers all. From being viewed as part of our animalistic nature and compared to instincts, to be viewed as a virtue to scientists and the reason behind why we explore space. Behaviorists tried to define it as an innate drive and some say that it has a crucial role in our ability to learn and understand.

This thesis describes the design of a tipping trailer, from a company?s demands andrequests to complete manufacturing documentation. The design is developed for thecompany Abexor AB in Östersund that produces tipping trailers. The product issupposed to be used by Abexors customer to transport cargos of different kinds,such as gravel, stone, dirt, etc.The work commenced with a meeting at the company where demands were set.After that a pre-study was conducted to find out what traffic rules were required forthe trailer to be allowed to be driven on roads. Similar products were examined tosee how the trailer could be designed.

The study aims to answer questions regarding the users identity and general opinions regarding live a life of more intense solitude. The basic scientific approach of the study is centered around two terms, taken from Howard S. Beckers book "outsiders" (1997). These two terms are "outsiders" and "deviant careers", both dealing with the subject of deviant behavior.
